A Halo/HTTYD Crossover

I decided to kinda just churn this out and see what happened. I started writing this chapter on the 8th of June, which is basically in the middle of my exam season. Soo yeah but other then that there aren't any new updates. Well, other then I have been working on some ideas for my next story (it's a way off yet but any ideas are good, right?). If you bothered to read this far into the blabbering from the author of this story then you deserve a reward, which I have. I'm deciding between two ideas to write about next. The first one would be a kind of (?) sequel to this story, except instead of crossing over Halo with HTYYD, I would do Doctor Who; simply because I'm British and love it. Either this or an all Halo story, however I believe that it would need some more thought into it (yeah, that's all I'm really telling of that). The first one would involve Matt Smith and yes, the Vikings would remember the Halo experience.

That's the only update from the Grand Complication Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Grande Sonnerie Moon Phase that is the inner workings of my mind for now. Here's the handwerkskunst of my story!

All UNSC/ONI Ranking Officers be advised the Arbiter has confirmed that Sangheilios is divided between Covenant and 'New Age' supporters. At the current time all trade possibilities have ceased and craft with a Potency factor less than 9.07 are warned to keep a two hundred and fifty thousand kilometre radius from the orbit of Sangheilios' furthest natural satellite. Although from the outside it is impossible to tell whether a Sangheili craft is friend or foe, all Captains are reminded that extreme caution should be taken and any craft acting suspiciously should be reported immediately and craft may be fired upon if vessel enters a prior agreed radius, depending on craft size and occupation.

The Baltic States have also joined Sweden's martial law example and are expected to remain as such until Sangheilios' violent actions have ceased. Leaders from the White House, Downing Street and the Kremlin have all met with the Arbiter along with Admiral Lord Terrence Hood to discuss the Renegade Sangheili threat [See Subsection G File 028 for Minutes]. The Royal Family is also expected to visit the Arbiter shortly in the hope of cementing an alliance with the 'New Age' Sangheili. Fleet Admiral Lak 'Vadam (believed to be related to the Arbiter, although this is unconfirmed) has provided the information on the headquarters of the Renegades, seconded by the Arbiter, to be the Ascetic Temple. The Ascetics believe they hold onto the idea of a 'Perfect Warrior' after the Covenant took over command of them. They are highly skilled and their lack of emotion means that the loss of a battle brother is of no concern to them. We will question former Ascetics leader, Usze Taham, on everything he knows. A special forces team comprised of SAS, Delta Force, Spetsnaz and Spartans have been accompanied by Sangheili SpecOps forces on an insertion task to the Ascetic temple, however the Kremlin has warned that more martial action should be taken against the Renegade Sangheili and implied it will continue it's objective to develop a new super nuclear weapon. Arms manufactory from such groups as the Misriah Armoury, Hechler-Koch and BAE/Herstal have been reported to be increasing armaments production.

Until then, there have still been no confirmations of the survival of project Black Saturn. All prototypes have been confirmed to have been destroyed along with all designs.

Caller: Yes, we have everything you asked for including the conditions we believe to be required to run a successful jump.

Recipient: Excellent, Mr Miyota, you have done yourself proud. The agreed fifty million United States dollars will be transferred to you from my secure account in Geneva.

Caller: What about if they come after me?

Recipient: Don't worry, the UNSC is too prioritised with their off world problems to be dealing with you.

Caller: But what if- *Interrupted*

Recipient: If you're that worried, you shouldn't have got into this business. Make sure your tracks are covered well and you take the allotted amount from my account for your work. If anything goes wrong, I had nothing to do with it. Goodbye.

***Message ends***

He looked down at Toothless, who grinned back at him. "I guess you heard that, bud?" He nodded. Let's show them just what dragons and vikings can do! He thought to himself as Toothless surged forward.

"So how should we go about this one then, do you think?" Hiccup asked Toothless. The dragon shook his head and carried on flying towards the alien aircraft. He flew up slightly so the craft wouldn't see them as they flew towards Berk.

"That's it! Just a straight forward dive bombing run, it doesn't look like they can even see upwards, so let's give it a go" Hiccup once again looked to Toothless, who growled in agreement and began to gather altitude.

They were now far enough above the alien craft that they were only small purple dots moving quietly over a lazy blue ocean. They selected a target, the ship in the middle, and flew down towards it. The trademark Night Fury howl made itself present almost immediately, Hiccup shifted himself in the saddle so his body was hugged against Toothless' as they continued to gain speed until they reached terminal velocity.

"Ready" Toothless responded by charging up a plasma blast.

"Now!" Hiccup shouted. Toothless shot the plasma at the front of the first craft, the engines exploded with a splash of purple plasma. The craft rapidly lost altitude, swirling in slow circles as it plummeted towards it's icy end. It made a large wave as it smashed into the water and then promptly exploded.

"Yeah!" Hiccup shouted as the pair shot back up towards the cloud layer. Toothless roared in agreement. Looking down, Hiccup saw that the two remaining craft had split up, and one was getting closer to Berk. He gestured to it. Toothless understood perfectly what Hiccup meant and pulled into another dive.

The alien craft had no idea that it was being targeted as it continued to fly ever closer to Berk. Just before the trough of their dive Toothless let out another deadly blast that hit square on with the cockpit of the craft, which was now sans pilots. As it crashed, Hiccup realised there was a third one and it was getting away!

As they rounded on it for their third strike, it suddenly exploded. Startled, Hiccup looked around to see what had caused it.

"Did you see that, Toothless?" He spoke. He heard Katie's voice in his ear again.

"That was us testing out a new piece of equipment. We hope to have it working soon to help the ground forces out. Now, we have another task for you. Your father is down there on Berk with our troops but they're having a bit of trouble. There were some other carriers also holding tanks that landed on the opposite side of Berk. We were a bit preoccupied with everything else we didn't notice them land and now the tanks they dropped are closing in. Get down there and help sort them out, Toothless will be really useful here."

Hiccup looked perplexed. "Uh – what's the chance I'll be killed?" He nervously asked.

"Better not to ask. Good work on the carriers back there. That would've been a disaster had they landed. Get to it and I'll contact you when you're done. Pearson out." The radio silenced.

Looking down at Toothless, Hiccup said "I can't believe this is all happening so quickly."

Please note Stoick will not be killed in this story and we will not be introducing Valka into this story as it would make things too jumbled. However, all HTTYD stories after this will have her and Cloudjumper in.
