A Challenge For The Hosts

Theresa Feluccio always had a difficult life. Between her mother dying in childbirth with her, and her father committing suicide when she was 7. So she always had to work for everything she received. When she got an invitation to Ouran Academy through an exchange program, her whole life was turned upside down. Please Read and Review my story!

10. Chapter 10

~3 days later~

"Crap I'm late!" I yell as I run to Music Room 3. Today is the first official day of my 'lessons' with the members of the host club. Today is my lesson with Tamaki, and I was kind of dreading it to be honest. I had taken my time changing into my street clothes after Gym, and now I'm paying for it.

I burst through the doors and run into the center of the room, dropping into a bow immediately.

"Sorry I'm late! I didn't realize the time!" I blurt out. I brace myself for a lecture about tardiness like the one I had gotten the last time we met. Suddenly, all I hear is giggles and look up. I see the hosts standing there, half of them laughing and the other half of them looking embarrassed by my sudden outburst. I suck in a breath, raise my head, and walk over to the hosts. As I walk, I hear murmurs of snide comments like

"Oh my gosh, isn't she that new girl?" ,

"I hear she needs the school's help to live in Japan"

"I hear she only got here because of a special program in America."

"They probably give her all the answers."

"She's so poor."

"What a commoner.".

When I reach them, I turn to all of the hosts and say "I'm sorry, I didn't-" Suddenly Mori put a finger to my lips and turned to the room of girls.

"Get out, all of you." He says, his glare like steel. The girls are silent as they sit there staring at him. I hear a few of them make comments, but most are wise and stay quiet.

"Did he just, speak?"

"I didn't even know he could talk."

"Omg I am so tweeting this."

"Hey!" A voice suddenly rings out. We all turn to look, it's Hikaru. "I think we told you girls to leave."

"Hikaru is right." Tamaki says stepping forward. "The host club will be closed today. We hope to see all of you lovely ladies tomorrow."

The girls slowly shuffle out of the room one at a time, mumbling about rudeness. Once all of them are gone, Tamaki turns to me. "Your lateness is going unnoticed for now, but please don't let it happen again."

"I won't." I say nodding. "So what about our lesson today?"

"Come back tomorrow at 5." He says not even looking at me. "Be sure to come in your uniform and wait until the girls are gone."

I nod and leave, waving goodbye to them. As I leave I send a quick text to Takume.

(Theresa/Takume)

Hey, I'm heading home early, can you come and pick me up?

Sure, I'll be there in 2 minutes, maybe we can go somewhere for dinner:)

2 minutes?!

I'm not that far from the school. See ya soon!

Ok bye;)

Crap! I need to get downstairs! I think to myself as I run down the hall and I accidentally run into one of the bigger, more muscular guys on the Ouran football team, causing all of his papers to go everywhere, jumbling everything up. I start to apologize but he grabs me by my shirt and shoves me against the lockers, knocking the air out of me.

"DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO ORGANIZE THAT!" He screams into my face.

"I'm so sor-" I try to explain.

BAM!

I'm cut off by a punch to the face, making my nose starts to bleed. I cry out when he drops me, causing my injured nose to hit the ground. "Please stop!" I yell as he starts to kick me from my place on the ground.

Suddenly, his kicks stop and I hear someone getting punched. I opened my eyes and saw Takume kicking the crap out of him. "YOU DON'T GET TO TOUCH HER!" He yells with every punch to the jerk's face. Within 5 minutes he's out cold on the ground and Takume runs over to me. "Theresa!" he cries, cupping my face. "Are you okay?"

"My nose." I say, trying to sit up to no avail. "I think it's broken." I sit up and hold my nose, tipping my head back. "Guess those dinner plans will have to wait" I say, chuckling at him through my injuries.

"Come on, let's get you home." He says, smiling at me. "Can you walk?" He asks, helping me to my feet. I take a step and my leg screams in pain. "Nope!" I say, biting back tears that threaten to pour from my eyes. He carefully picks me up and we leave the school.

~A.N Uh oh! What's wrong with Theresa's leg? I'm sorry that I didn't actually start with the lessons in this chapter, I promise I will in the next chapter.
