"Are you ready?" Elsa could feel her icy magic coursing throughout her veins, though it was very much under control right now. She was more than happy, and her magic responded as such by curling into a smooth sheet of ice on the ground as her foot touched the courtyard's stones. The twin fountains curled into magnificent rounded ice sculptures and the people clapped in response. As a finishing touch, Elsa lifted her hands up into the sky, creating a flurry over the castle courtyard. Small snowflakes began to lazily float down toward the overjoyed citizens of Arendelle, who were beginning to ice skate and marveling at the scene around them.

For a second, Elsa took a moment to appreciate that what she had once deemed so dangerous now brought joy to people. She smiled, knowing that this was what her powers were meant for.

"Woah...woah..."

Elsa looked up, watching as Anna haphazardly slid toward her with flailing arms and a wide-eyed expression. She couldn't help but smile at how silly her sister looked...but it was something that she loved about Anna (and got her into an infinite amount of trouble at the same time). She wasn't afraid of what people thought.

"Woah!" Anna took the last step toward Elsa, and the Snow Queen had a momentary fear that her sister would fall. She leaned forward and latched onto Anna's arms at the same time she felt Anna grip onto her like an anchor.

Elsa knew that Anna standing securely, but they stayed in the same position nonetheless, smiling at each other. Anna readjusted her grip on Elsa, excitement practically radiating from her. "I like the open gates."

Elsa's could feel her smile grow ever wider as she gently squeezed Anna's arms and leaned forward. If only her sister could know how much she agreed. "We are never closing them again," she declared.

Anna continued on grinning widely, though Elsa could feel her beginning to slip again. Lifting one hand in the air, Elsa released a spurt of magic toward her sister's feet. Her boots transformed into the white ice skates that Elsa had designed in her mind just a moment before, knowing that they would be perfect for Anna.

Anna pulled away to stand on her own, looking down at the new skates in wonder. "Oh Elsa, they're beautiful, but you know I don't skate-"

"Oh, come on!" Elsa grabbed Anna's wrists and pulled her around in a circle. Anna's eyes widened in fear and she looked down at her feet, shuffling them back and forth. Looking back up at Elsa, she seemed to gain a little more confidence and placed her hands in Elsa's.

"Look out! Reindeer coming through!"

Elsa almost looked back to find Kristoff, but just then Anna began to glide smoothly across the ice. "I got it! I got it!" she exclaimed with a triumphant smile. Her feet began to slip and she looked as if she was running in place, leaning a good amount of her wait into Elsa. "I don't got it! I don't got it!"

Elsa tightened her grip on her sister, determined not to let her fall. Sven slid by on his hooves, trailed by Kristoff. He reached out like he was going to help Anna, but he began to slip as he let go of his reindeer and quickly coasted by, running right into Sven.

"Hey guys!" The friendly welcome was followed by Anna being bumped up into a standing position, and Elsa grinned at the sight of Olaf as he stepped into view.

Elsa continued guiding Anna, Olaf gliding behind them and chanting, "Glide, and pivot! Glide, and pivot!"

Anna began to control herself more and more until she broke away from Elsa, making her way clumsily toward Kristoff. She did well until the last few feet, where she began to stumble. She lurched forward and Kristoff gathered her into his arms with a warm smile and a chuckle, though casting a hesitant glance in Elsa's direction. After a moment his eyes grew wide as he began to lose his balance. Emitting a startled cry, Kristoff fell backwards onto the ice and Anna landed half on top of him, laughing uncontrollably.

Elsa's immediate reaction was to scan the crowd to observe the number of people who had watched the scene. At the same time, Elsa knew that this was who Anna was: the bright, clumsy, cheerful princess who loved anything and everything. She couldn't blame her for that, and neither could anyone else.

As Elsa looked back to the scene, Anna attempted to get up on her own and fell right back down, elbowing Kristoff in the stomach. Elsa couldn't help but giggle, and skated with ease to help Anna. However, Sven got there first and nudged her shoulder. Anna grabbed onto the reindeer's fur and was pulled onto her feet, Elsa immediately reaching out to steady her.

"Are you all right there?" she asked with a smile.

Anna's grin was unfaltering and her cheeks a bright pink, shining eyes adding to her cheerful appearance. "Never been better."
