Hey guys! I know I'm updating late alot, and I'm sorry, but I go through these stupid moods .
A
nyway, I read the rest of CoHF and was furious when I found out the Heavenly Fire made JJonathan good but then he died!
I was wondering, who likes Sebastian better than Jace? Or is it just me? And what's your favourite movie this year?
Here's chapter 21:
CHAPTER 21: RAZIEL'S GIFTS
"No!" Jace whispered.
His face was full of shock and a hint of betrayal could be seen in his golden eyes.
Clary wanted to run over and hug him and tell him she'd stay with him.
But the guilt kept her rooted to the spot. She felt her heart was going to shatter because of that one word.
"I'm sorry, Jace," Clary murmeredm not raising her eyes to meet his.
Sebastian let go of Jace, and was beside Clary in a flash.
Suddenly Clary saw a golden light spread across the sky, and the water of Lake Lynn started to bubble.
The sound of battle cry in the other fields ceased, and silence stretched across the fields.
At Clary's sudden gasp and wide eyes, Sebastian turned to see what she was staring at.
The first thing she saw were an angels wings, and they were breathtakingly beautiful. She felt her fingers ache for her sketchpad and pencils.
Then she saw the Angel Raziel's head rise from the surface of the lake.
"What the-" Jace said, also turning to look at the Angel, eyes wide in shock.
But Raziel wasn't looking at Jace, or Sebastian.
He was looking at Clary.
"Clarrissa Fairchild, once you've made this decision you cannot go back on it. Your brother still has a little goodness in him, which you can only make him see. You must help him see the good in himself. This was the right choice you made. No matter what others think," Raziel told Clary, his voice carrying over her skin like light feathers.
Clary was about to protest, but Sebastian, who had also stood staring in shock, beat her to it, "But what good in me is there to see. Nobody believes I'm good, so why should I see the good in me when I don't believe in it?"
"Because your also half Shadowhunter, as well as demon. And Shadowhunters have my blood in them as well as you," Raziel told him.
Sebastian looked away, and Clary furrowed her eye brows in confusion.
"I'm going to give you both a gift, though you won't think it a gift at first," Raziel told them.
"What is the gift?" Jace, who had been quiet up til now, asked, his golden eyes curious.
"Clary must stay by her brother's side until his demonic side is gone. And Jonathan must not harm Clarrissa's family or friends just like he promised her," Raziel said.
Clary and Sebastian were glowing a golden color as Raziel said these words.
"Can I ask you a favor, Angel," Jace asked nervously, his head bowed.
"Very well. What is it?" Raziel asked, his voice slightly impatient.
"Could you clear out most of the demons in the battle, please?" Jace asked.
"Very well," Raziel said.
He disappeared, and the golden light in the sky shone brighter where the battle was taking place, and then it faded.
"Draw a Portal, Clary," Sebastian told her, his voice slightly strained and angry.
Clary glanced at Jace, who had his back to her.
"In a minute!" She called to his retreating back.
She walked towards Jace, stele in hand, and grabbed his bound hands.
He hissed as the fire circling his wrists burned into his skin.
Quickly, Clary drew an Unlocking Rune on his wrists, and another on his ankles.
"I have to go," she murmered.
Then she kissed him.
At first he didn't kiss back, but he responded after a while, and he was kissing her as if it was the last time he'd ever see her. It was a desperate kiss, full of love and want.
But all too soon she broke away, tears in her eyes.
"Goodbye," she whispered.
She walked away and towards a big tree and drew the Portal Rune, avoiding Sebastian's gaze.
She turned towards Jace and beckoned for him to go through first.
And he did.
Then Sebastian grabbed her arm roughly and they jumped through.
Next chapter will be about Clary and Sebastian!
By the way i don't mind a bit of criticism. I like some tips on how to improve my writing.
