Fuyuki's room, 6:30 am. June 5, 2002

Fuyuki was already up at this hour, and the clothes he wore for his night time love outing were completely unstained. Fuyuki, too was rather different in the sense that he never really felt the need to go out with her as often afterwards, except in one small rendezvous after another. These chance encounters would take place at least once on a weekly basis, and even then, they would stipulate that he wear a shirt and tie.

School days were restricted to emails only for the most part. It is at this phase that he may go out on a date with her on any day of the week provided he wear (although he can now wear his casual sneakers in addition to his dress shoes) his black shirt with any tie and dress pants. Only within 2-3 days after the day they graduate from the 6th grade, it's anything goes within reason. If Fuyuki never felt the need to go out with Momoka, then she never really felt the need to go out with him either.

This was because their love between each other was so strong that it only takes a few dates for a period of some 2-3 months just to quench it. However, this new rule set says nothing about those who are willing to try and break it right the fuck up. In fact, the rule set of midnight love does not actually forbid those who dare attempt to break up the young couple from trying.

"I can't believe it! I actually cannot believe that she's gonna be my wife in the near future." Fuyuki commented citing his apparent elation, and the fact that he isn't yet old enough to marry her, at least not out in public. Then again, nobody else would have suspected that she be his girlfriend back in the day. When Fuyuki opened up his door, A mallet swung in form out of nowhere, and whacked him on the head. It was Sergeant Keroro himself, and no one knows exactly why he just up and smacked Fuyuki, yet.

Whatever the case may be, the green frog alien dragged Fuyuki's unconscious form all the way to his platoon's QSCT, which Mois had already prepped for flight. Keroro encased Fuyuki in a specially designed impact capsule. The transport cruised at altitude from the same street for a runway as it did during the St Patrick's day incident. Sergeant Major Kululu opened up the cargo door as soon as the craft was somewhere over the pacific ocean, and the capsule took its anticipated dive.

As soon as the capsule hit the drink, the frogs in their QSCT were already gone, leaving Fuyuki all alone to whatever forces were at work out in the deep briny blue. The capsule simply floated out to sea, with Fuyuki waking up in it to find himself wearing his bathing shorts. Poor Fuyuki had no idea as to what to make of the situation he was in as of today. All that, with the apparent exception of the sarge having done well to get him dressed for the occasion beforehand.

The glass protective casing disappeared into the capsule, and it transformed into an enclosed swimming apparatus. Fuyuki had worked his arms into a sort of swimming motion, and it progressed onward from there. The apparatus fitted a pair of goggles in his head size on for him before he learned to take a dive or two further into the depths. Fuyuki held his breath with each dive without even having to think about it for a few seconds longer at a time.

\In case you were wondering, Fuyuki, you are wearing an apparatus designed to help you learn to swim./ \Yes, by sharpening the learning curve to the wearer's appropriate skill level, the apparatus can prompt them to aim ever higher and to attain the body build more suitable to swimming. Once the apparatus decides that the user is ready to swim on their own, it releases the user to explore the underwater realm for themselves, kukuku./ Keroro and Kululu explained via the intercom on the apparatus itself.

"Uhh, thanks guys?" Fuyuki muttered in confusion as the intercom channel shut itself off post haste. With that, Fuyuki simply swam along towards a nearby island once he really got the hang of swimming for prolonged periods. In fact, he had already started learning how to swim during the time his house was filled with planet Akatawa's atmosphere. Further south of Fuyuki's current position would reveal something rather large and highly ominous sitting buried in the sand deep undersea.

It had a cephalothorax, no legs (it likely never needed any), raptorial limbs of a mantis, the tail of a shark, the plumbing of a cephalopod, and the befanged mouth of a venomous snake. The whole thing was commandeered by what looked to be a Viper; Spear Fisherman Viper to be precise. He was wielding a trident weapon, in addition to a naturally occurring harpoon gun. "Heh, gele gele gele. Everything is prepared and in position, boss, just like ya told me." Spear Fisherman Viper hissed through his rebreather mask.

\Good, cuz ya'd better not fuck this shit up with your PRE.M.P.S.H.A.P (Prehistoric Marine Predatory Super Hybrid Attack Platform) Type X in toe, who knows when that slippery ass Xiu Wong rat bastard will barge in on my revenge./ The Don Viper sneered citing the fact that he never really forgot about the botched shipment deal with Xiu Wong a couple of months back. "Speak of the devil, here are some of his cronies, now!" Spear Fisherman Viper cried as he proceeded to get his super hybrid predator into killing gear after some Sarcostryker and Squid Torpedo clones.

The Hinata residence, 8:00 am

Aki had just arrived from her morning shopping run on her 2001 Honda CBR600 motorbike, and was just getting off to unload the cargo. As soon as she picked up her shopping bags, she strode on home. She lowered the shopping bags onto the counter before having realized that Fuyuki was nowhere to be found! It was then that Keroro almost wound up in the wrong place at the wrong time. "You didn't just kidnap ny son, did you?" Aki queried rather curtly as Natsumi up and grabbed him by the neck.

"I didn't kidnap Fuyuki! Ok, so maybe I did, but I only wanted to teach him some swimming lessons to bolster his chances of winning Momoka's parents' approval when they find out about their relationship!" The sarge choked defending his position. "Good, because you're just lucky that I'm not in the mood to turn you into frog soup right about now. On the up side, Fuyuki taking a swim? Now this I gotta see!" Natsumi piped up as she and Aki made preparations to join Keroro in his return flight to the southern pacific ocean.

Somewhere in the southern pacific ocean, 8:30 am

Fuyuki was resting on the apparatus watching all the little fish in the coral reef go about their daily business as they always did since time immemorial. Fuyuki was about to doze off when the super hybrid predator appeared from right out of the ground to attack him. the biomechanical creature created a tsunami that had engulfed the newly transformed capsule after Fuyuki had gotten inside it. Fuyuki was safe against the tidal wave as something else was awakened, and it rushed to combat the super hybrid predator.

That something else was biomechanical much like the predator that was going after Fuyuki, though it looked to be much more benevolent by nature. A pair of monstrous, bladed jaws clamped onto the predator's carapace, and tore a few good chunks off of it, which immediately prompted its retreat. "Yeah, go on, gedahda here!" It bellowed as it approached the capsule with Fuyuki emerging from it.

"Hey kid, you alright or sumpin?" The beast, a giant biomechanoid placoderm, inquired. "Uh, I-I-I think so, yeah." Fuyuki responded with a slight trepidation upon seeing the creature, which is apparently the island's guardian. "Oh, and the name's Dunkan Losteus, and welcome to my island! Go ahead, you're welcome to step on the white, sandy beach if ya like." Dunkan offered with a certain Devonian debonair. "Thanks for saving me back there, Dunkan." Fuyuki replied. "Anytime, kid. Anytime." Dunkan returned as he resumed his business of patrolling the island's local seaways.

Meanwhile, at a neighboring island

Radon had been using his spare time to conduct an island survival exercise on his own. This was not only to resharpen his skills a little, but also to have fun because who ever said that a boy hitman couldn't have any fun at all. This fun factor also helps him to further blend in with the rest of the human population, making it ever harder to tell for even the most battle hardened of his intended targets' eyes. Radon was scrounging around the beach for any life raft building materials when he noticed that Fuyuki had set foot on the aforementioned island. "Huh, didn't know Fuyuki would be here of all people." Radon mused in surprise as he proceeded to find the materials needed to get his life raft under construction.

Up above the southern pacific ocean, 8:45 am

The QSCT was cruising above the island where Fuyuki was wandering around on. With that, the Sarge decided it best to unveil another trick up his sleeve; the QSCT's hidden V.T.O.L. (Vertical Take Off and Landing) capability. The wings folded into the body of the craft, and a pair of dual turbine engines shot their exhaust downward, thereby controlling the craft's descent. Natsumi and Aki, as well as the rest of the platoon, were on board the craft as it landed.

It was then that Dunkan swam up to meet it with only so much as a glare. "Hey, what's da big idea with you frogs layin' round 'ere?" Dunkan barked authoritatively. "Hey Dunkan, d-don't get the wrong idea. We just came over to watch Fuyuki." The Sarge hollered frightened by Dunkan's sudden advance. "Heh. Is that so?" Dunkan huffed questioning the Sarge's defense.

"Fine! You're cleared to set foot on my island, but I'm watchin' you!" He then finished as he returned to his previous matter at hand. The Sarge, after a much needed sigh of relief, gave the ok for the two female Hinatas to step outside in their bikinis after having seen video footage of Fuyuki taking a swim. "You know that thing?" Aki queried. "I heard about the guy when I was only a little tadpole, it's just that I never thought I'd get to see him in the flesh as all." The sarge elucidated looking to relish in that once in a lifetime moment with Dunkan.

"WOW! More ideas for manga every day!" Aki squealed diving straight into otaku mode upon listening to the legend of Dunkan Losteus. Back on dry land, Fuyuki took the time to explore the island for any hidden passageways to a prospective ancient temple. Fuyuki took a step into some sand, and an ancient highway system unfurled itself leading into a pyramid, which also rose up from the sand. "Who knew that the islanders had a thing for pyramids and all?" Fuyuki mused as he set foot inside the pyramid, upon which the ancient natives all poured out of the pyramid, only to form a sort of clear path into whatever hidden treasure lied ahead.

The treasure itself can only be described as the purest drinking water around. It's what the islanders call "future water" because according to the ancient murals along the walls, the people who drink it will see into their own future. Fuyuki approached the bowl to stare at the water it contained, and took a drink from it. It was though the islanders themselves invited him to take a drink from the sacred future water. Fuyuki had to gulp the whole thing down without spilling so much as a drop as per ancient island customs.

"What do you see, young one?" The chieftain asked. "I'm seeing an amplypygid, the man with a scorpion tail, Baio and Oka Nishizawa, and that god like figure I saw in my dream a while back." Fuyuki answered almost immediately with an unnatural, almost hypnotic serenity. "Interesting, we'll wait and see how this plays out." The chieftain replied as Fuyuki took his leave to explore the island a little bit more.

Along the way, Fuyuki decided that he needed to build a noose to catch some foodstuffs with. All he needed was a long, thin vine, some camouflage, and a good, strong tree trunk. Success! The trap was sprung, ensnaring a native fowl in the process. Fuyuki decided that he needed to kill it in order to cook and eat it, which he did with a most unusual efficacy. It was then that Radon made his entrance to join Fuyuki in his freshly caught breakfast. He could see that the bird had already been decapitated, and plucked of any feathers.

"To tell you the truth Fuyuki, my real name is Radon, Ryota was just an alias to help as a disguise." Radon confessed as he helped Fuyuki prepare their shared meal. Fuyuki and Radon part ways after having eaten their fill of white meat. Fuyuki met up with the rest of his family swimming his way back into the QSCT. The QSCT prepped itself for take off, and lifted itself into the air with its vertical engines roaring. The super hybrid predator returns with a still scarred yet healing carapace, only to miss the departing aircraft, with which it decided to pursue the Keronians suspecting that Radon is on board.

The local shopping arcade in Nerima, 3:30 pm

Kasumi Tendo had just sniped a sweet deal on a certain graduation hakama that she liked from a competitor in the realm of martial arts shopping. This one instance had only further cemented her reputation as the soft spoken queen of the arcade. As Kasumi made her return home, she felt an uneasy wind stroking her nape. She turned aorund to take a look, only to find nothing there. She turned back around and moved on still feeling very uneasy about it all.

"You had best be glad not to have blown our cover, Venono." A keronian reprimanded to his subordinate, dubbed Venono. "Well, let's just say that she was more sensitive to her environment than she looked, Zyururu." Venono replied in defense to his superior, dubbed Zyururu. "Fine, as long as the Pekoponians have yet to totally expose our presence. Come Venono, I suspect that there may be more to this whole EX.W.A.T.I. thing than meets the eye!" Zyururu exhorted as he and Venono bounded off to their next destination.
