Stiles and Derek have been together for 6 months and things have been going well for them. Unfortunately, all good things have to come to an end. When Derek cheats on Stiles, he is left heartbroken and betrayed. But, will he recover and let the new guy in town, Michael, into his heart or will he take Derek back? Rated M for later chapters.

6. Not an update, more of an explanation

Okay, I know that you guys have been waiting for me to update What the Heart Wants and I want to update it too. But, I went back and reread the previous chapters and I see that I kind of rushed the plot, which isn't something I usually do with my stories.

SO, to make up for my slight OCD, I've been rewriting some of the chapters and seeing how they go together. I'm definitely rewriting chapter 1, it seemed really rushed and I think it was because I didn't really wait to read it as thoroughly as I should have.

But don't worry, I haven't abandoned this story, I'm just trying to get most of the chapters written so that I can update on a schedule. Please, don't think I abandoned you my lovely followers. It means so much to me to know people enjoy reading my work, and I have over 100 followers: that's the best thing I could ever hope for. Thank you for sticking by my side! Oh, and my birthday was yesterday, I'm 18 now! Yay! 🎉

Again, I humbly apologize for not updating and hope you can understand. I plan on doing better in 2015, I promise. 🙇
