I knew what to write, but I didn't know if it would come out like I expected… anyways, here's where the tragedy part kicks in! Enjoy~

Chapter 8: Find Him! Part II

It's not my fault.

It's not my fault.

It's not my fault.

It's not my fault.

It's not my fault that this happened.

It's their fault. It's both their faults.

Kuroko shivered as he repeated the same words over again and again. His parents, Azumi and Eiji, had left for work a few hours ago, leaving the house in their son's care.

The pallid boy wrapped himself in countless blankets and pulled his knees to his chest, not having the spirit or energy to move around. His stomach had been growling for company for days, but he ignored it and trapped himself in his own bed.

Kuroko knew that this was not good for his health, but what could he do? After all, it wasn't his fault that this happened to him.

He never knew what it felt like to be in love before Akashi came around, and now he regretted it all. He regretted how it felt when he did it with Kagami, he regretted how it felt like to share his lips with two people.

"I never… wanted this to happen," he choked, his throat being raspy from the lack of water. He rolled on his back and looked at the ceiling as if it were magically going to give him the answer to all his problems.

Suddenly, the blunette felt something pounce on his abdomen and he looked down to see Nigou with a crestfallen face, holding his bowl in his mouth.

"Ah, I forgot to feed you again, huh, Nigou? Sorry about that." He sighed in defeat and used up all his remaining strength to lift himself off the bed. He opened his bedroom door and headed downstairs, the dog hot on his tail.

Going down the staircase, Kuroko wondered about what was happening back at school. "Is everyone worried about me? No, I doubt it. I'm a shadow; nobody knows or feels my presence. I guess I shouldn't be worried… but why do Akashi and Kagami keep popping up in my mind?"

He stopped walking when he reached the kitchen and filled Nigou's bowl with dog food to the brim. He barked happily and ran to the living room couch, munching away.

Kuroko laughed softly as he went back to his room and locked the door. 'What am I going to do now? I feel so… empty and hollow inside… maybe I should go to sleep for a while.'

As the blunette put on his teal headphones and drifted off to a dreamless sleep, little did he know that a group of yakuza had gathered outside his house.

"Alright boys," the vice leader said. "I want one of you to smash open the window and kidnap the kid with the least amount of effort. Be careful, he has a dog from the information I gathered, so make sure it doesn't ruin our plans!"

A member with gray hair and a slashed left eye nodded vehemently as he was pushed upwards by two others. He smashed the window with a bat, causing Nigou to whimper from the other room.

The yakuza guy climbed into Kuroko's room and forcefully grabbed said teen by his arms, yanking his headphones off. The blunette grew alert as he realized that he was being kidnapped and starting flailing his limbs about recklessly. "Let go of me, you freak! What do you want from me?! How did you get in here?! Why are you doing this?!"

"Shut it, pretty boy!" the yakuza member growled as he took his bat and hit it against Kuroko's head, causing said teen to lose consciousness.

The door to the bedroom was being banged upon, the sound of Nigou's barking growing fiercer and worried.

'Ha, stupid mutt.' And the gray-head jumped out the window with Kuroko slumped on his shoulder. Once he got outside, the vice leader shoved the pallid boy into a black van and the group drove off, leaving Nigou all by himself.

"Where… am I?" Kuroko asked himself drowsily as he slowly opened his eyes. He found himself in a pitch black environment with only a wooden chair and desk in the distance. He tugged on his wrists– they were bound above his head.

"What in the world? Why are my wrists like this?"

"That is precisely the question you don't need to be asking… dear Tetsuya," a smooth voice said from behind him.

"Hey, Coach," Kagami said as he mopped the floor of Seirin's gym along with Izuki, Tsuchida, and Kiyoshi.

"Yeah, what is it?" Riko answered, looking up from her phone.

"I was just wondering when we're going to take action. You know, about all of this."

Hyuuga's ear twitched. "W-What did you say? You're gonna take action for what?!"

Kagami froze and he dropped his mop. 'You've really done it know, idiot,' he thought, sweat-dropping. "Uh, it's nothing actually–"

"So… you want in on my plan?" Riko chimed in, a mysterious aura surrounding her. The whole team stopped what they were doing and stared at her with confusion.

Later, as they walked to her house, Kagami told them about their worries for Kuroko and that they were planning to take action to figure out what happened.

"You SLEPT with Kuroko?!" Furihata whispered/screamed as they entered Riko's room. Luckily, for them, Kagetora was out shopping for food and extra toiletries, so they could talk about whatever they wanted.

"It wasn't one-sided so it's not like I committed a crime or something," Kagami retorted, sitting on the carpet.

"Anyways," Coach pressed on, chewing on her pen, "what Kagami and I talked about was kind of interesting. The possible reason to why Kuroko-kun is 'gone', let's say, is most likely Bakagami and Akashi-kun's fault. Kagami told me that Akashi-kun has powers- thanks to Kuroko- and that if Akashi ever found out that he slept with our precious tiger, he would punish him."

"But the bad thing is," the redhead continued, "is that Akashi-bastard already punished him. In his sleep. I heard him screaming and yelling and shivering and crying. I-I just couldn't believe it."

Furihata pulled his knees to his chest and buried his face between the crook of his thighs. 'No way… that can't be true. I know it! Akashi-kun may seem like an egotistical and intimidating emperor, but that doesn't mean he would do something that terrifying! I know the true Akashi… at least he has a heart; he's human like the rest us! It makes us no different!'

The brunette looked up and saw everybody staring at him, confused looks plastered on their faces. "Eh? I said that out-loud, didn't I? I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be so…"

Koganei shook his head and patted his hand on Furihata's back soothingly. "It's alright, dude. We all feel the same way. But it's the only logical reason to this problem."

Furihata nodded and turned his face to look at Riko, who was staring at him with a hint of irritation. "Besides that, let's take action!" She held out her phone, the screen showing a blue map and a red dot was flashing in the upper left corner. "We'll go to his house!"

"How'd you get that?" Kiyoshi asked, apparently impressed.

The coach beamed brightly. "One of my dad's friends works at a police database and I asked him just a teeny-tiny favor."

'Breaking into someone's house isn't a teeny-tiny favor,' everybody thought, sweat-dropping.

"Well, what are we just sitting here for?" Kagami shouted, pumping his fist in the air. "Let's go and claim Kuroko back!"

"YES!" Seirin yelled, save for Furihata.

As the rest of them grabbed their bags and headed downstairs, Riko remained in her room to talk with the brunette. "What's wrong, Furihata? You don't seem lively."

Said teen didn't respond, staring at the floor in silence.

Riko grinned and pushed him out the room, slinging her arm around his shoulder. "Don't worry, I won't tell anybone that you have a secret crush on the scary emperor."

Furihata almost fell down the stairs in shock, his face turning a deep shade of red. "C-Coach! H-How did y-you know?!"

"Wasn't it obvious? Who else would think that about Akashi-kun?"

Furihata pouted. "Y-You're right… anyways, we better hurry! The rest of the team is waiting outside for us and you know Hyuuga…"

The coach slapped him hard on the back happily and locked the door behind them, meeting up with Seirin.

Kuroko spilled tears of sadness, his pale cheeks becoming tear-stained. "You… how on earth could you do this? Just why? Just explain to me why."

The prime suspect stepped out of the shadows behind the blunette and faced him, surprise filling his eyes.

"What kind of question is that? Of course I would do this to you~"

Kuroko gritted his teeth as his heart pounded against his ribcage. "You're not human… no human would ever do this to another person, especially one that they love… Akashi-kun!"

Akashi sneered as he put his hands on his sides. "Back to last name basis, huh? I had a feeling this would happ–"

"WHO ORDERS A YAKUZA GANG TO BRUTALLY KIDNAP THEIR ONE AND ONLY LOVE?! TELL ME WHO DOES THAT, TELL ME!"

The redhead's lips tugged into a smile. "Wow. I never knew you had it in you to yell at me like that… Tetsuya. And interrupt me, at that."

The tension between them thickened as neither of them spoke, their eyes doing it for them. That was, until the heterochromatic eyed teen took a few steps forward and cupped Kuroko's cheeks with his hands. "Why did you run away from me, Tetsuya? Were you scared that I would punish you even more when you came back home?"

Before the pallid boy could answer, the Rakuzan captain stuck his tongue in Kuroko's mouth and explored every inch of it, making said teen gasp. Akashi withdrew his tongue so he could examine his lover's face, which was red with embarrassment and anger. "Are you wondering how I knew you were hiding at your parents' house?"

"You didn't even let me answer the first question; why should I answer the second one… Akashi."

"No honorifics, either? Man, I was afraid this would happen."

"ANSWER MY DAMN QUESTION!"

Akashi grimaced at his loud yell and pulled the blunette's face closer to his, their breaths mingling in the cold air.

"You shouldn't yell at me… cause then you'll know what's good for you." The redhead forced his lips onto Kuroko's in an instant, their tongues playing together in a fierce dance, though Kuroko was trying his best to resist. Akashi bit on his bottom lip and the pallid boy moaned, pleasure seeping into him.

'Oh yeah…' he thought. 'This was what I used to feel… when I was with Akashi-kun… I'm feeling it again but I don't want to. It's hell to feel this… but I miss it so much… why Akashi-kun? Why can't you just treat me normal?'

"Because I love you," Akashi said, leaving a thin trail of saliva between them as he pulled away from the deep kiss. "I won't let anybody else have you, and I never will. You belong to me and me only. Your insides were the only thing that made me feel good… so I started having sex with you even though you didn't approve."

Kuroko's face darkened as his bangs fell onto his face. "Wow, I never knew you thought about me like that."

"Huh?"

"YOU LOVE ME AS A SEX TOY! I LOVED YOU AS A PERSON, AKASHI!"

That sentence resonated through Akashi's mind, making his head hurt. He gritted his teeth and grabbed Kuroko by his collar. "What makes you think that?! I don't love you as a sex toy! I love you as a person! How dare you say that! I loved you the very moment I laid eyes on you at Teiko! Every time you passed me in the hallway, I would always feel my heart go crazy… and it was all because of you! I never felt anything better when I was inside of you! It felt so warm, and I couldn't get enough. I wanted you more and more, I drove crazy and started fucking you without your consent! I didn't know I was hurtin–"

Kuroko's eyes widened. "Shut up! So you're saying that you're sorry? You say you're sorry after all the horrible things you've done to me?! You almost killed me while I was sleeping, you ordered a yakuza gang to kidnap me by coming through my window and now you say you're sorry?! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE YOU?!"

"Hey, Akashi!" A voice shouted. "Let's make a deal! If you're really sorry, then why don't ya set poor boy free?"

"Indeed," a serious voice said.

"I never knew you were like this," a crestfallen voice choked.

"I won't forgive anyone who kidnaps my sweetest friend," a lazy voice growled.

Akashi sneered. "Bring. It. On."

"Can't you guys run any faster?" Riko yelled, clearly impatient. They were almost near Kuroko's house, and it was getting late. The sun was setting below the skimpy clouds, casting a faint bright orange and pink shade throughout the sky.

Kagami pouted as he pulled ahead of the coach, "It's not our fault that his house is farther away from yours! Ah, we're almost there!"

Izuki opened his mouth to make a joke but Hyuuga shook his head, telling him that now wasn't the time.

Kiyoshi huffed, "This is the last corner, right, Riko?"

"Yeah!"

Once Seirin rounded the last corner to their destination, they froze at the sight before them.

Koganei gulped nervously. "Coach! What do you t-think happened here?!"

Riko and Kagami were speechless at the sight displayed in front of their eyes. One of the windows on the second story of Kuroko's house was shattered into pieces, and faint barks could be heard from within.

"Nigou? It's Nigou!" Furihata shouted. "Do you think Kuroko-kun got kidnapped?"

Before anybody could answer, Kagami rushed inside the house, bursting past the front door. Everyone shrugged in defeat and ran after him.

Nigou was situated against a door above the stairs, his ears and tears down in disappointment. His big blue eyes suddenly widened as he saw the worried faces of the Seirin team rushing towards him. He barked happily, jumping up and down as Riko pulled him into a tight embrace.

"Nigou, what on earth happened here?" Izuki asked.

Nigou wriggled its way out of the coach's arms and nodded towards the door they were in front of.

Kagami stood up, "Is this Kuroko's room?"

"Woof!"

'Yikes,' the redhead thought, sweat-dropping. 'I'm still afraid of dogs…'

He tried the knob, but the door was locked. He took one of Riko's hairpins (without asking) and put it in the keyhole, kicking the door open as soon as he heard a click.

Seirin stared at the room before them; wrinkled baby blue bedsheets were sprawled across the floor that led to the window, a pair of headphones were hanging off the edge of the bed, and glass shards were scattered all over the place.

Mitobe tippy-toed his way over to Kuroko's bed and felt around. He turned to Koganei, giving him a bunch of hand signals. The brunette nodded in confirmation. "Mitobe said that the bed is still warm, meaning that not a lot of time passed since someone invaded his house."

"But the thing is… where is Kuroko?" Hyuuga asked, placing his hand on his chin.

"MINNA!" A girl's voice yelled.

The team looked out the window to see a breathless Momoi Satsuki, waving her hand in the air to grab their attention. "Come out and follow me! I know where Tetsu-kun is! Hurry!"

Oh man, I broke my promise! Well, it wasn't my fault! My iPod was acting weird so every time I wrote something it wouldn't save! So I was really annoyed and now here I am. Summer vacation is almost over (NOOOOOO) so I have to get some studying done since I didn't do anything yet! Until we meet again, my fellow readers…
