Ahsoka opened her eyes. She was strapped onto a smooth, metal table. She pulled on her restraints, but it was no use. She was stuck. Ahsoka laid back onto the table, and looked around, taking in her surroundings. She was in a pure white room, that reminded her a bit of the rooms on Kamino, from the Clone Wars. She laid back and relaxed once more, closing her eyes and attempting to meditate, when she heard the door open. She quickly opened her eyes, and saw the famous figure of Darth Vader enter.
Ahsoka looked at Vader, and squinted. She tried to act angry, but in reality it took all of her willpower to hold back her tears. "Hey Skyguy." Ahsoka said smirking. "Who messed you up?"
Vader's breathing got louder. "That's not what I'm here to tell you. I'm only hear to thank you for a new apprentice of mine."
Ahsoka continued staring at him. "Really? I remember you didn't even want to have me as a padawan all those years ago."
Vader breathed once more. "Maybe. But this apprentice... he suits me more."
The door opened once more, and Ezra entered, but he wasn't the boy she had met on Tatooine. His eyes were a disturbing, inhuman yellow with a frightening angry gleam in them. Kanan's lightsaber hung at his side, which Ezra ignited and pointed at Ahsoka. "You escaped me last time," he said. "But not this one."
Ahsoka's eyes widened as he rose the lightsaber. "Ezra- please! Kanan- Kanan is alive! He's on the Ghost!"
Ezra only stared at her, fuming even more. "You lie!" He brought the lightsaber down, and everything went black.
Ahsoka woke up with a start, sitting up panting. She was lying on one of the beds in the Ghost, Sabine on the bed below her. She breathed a sigh of relief, and laid back down and shut her eyes, falling asleep once more.
Sabine tapped Ahsoka. "Wake up, will you? Kanan has some crazy idea, and you need to be there." Ahsoka nodded tiredly, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. She pulled herself out of bed, and joined the crew of the Ghost around a small, round table.
Kanan brought up a hologram of a space station. "This is where we believe Ezra is. It's just a couple of parsecs away from here."
Ahsoka nodded. "The most important thing is that he sees you, Kanan. If he were to see you alive, he would most likely reject the dark side a lot easier."
Zeb looked at Ahsoka. "I have no idea what that means, but it seems like you know what you're talking about."
Ahsoka smiled weakly. "Let's hope I do."
Hera looked at both Ahsoka and Kanan. "So, is this our whole plan? Hope Ezra is in the space station and hope he'll turn good when he sees Kanan?"
Kanan nodded. "Pretty much."
"Sounds-" Hera began.
"Fun." Sabine finished. "Now we just have to test it."
Hera rolled her eyes, but still stood up. "Chopper! Get those coordinates into the computer and prepare the hyperdrive."
Chopper beeped so that it almost sounded like a groan. "I know it's a bad idea!" Hera said. "But it's all we've got, so hurry up." Chopper groaned once again before heading back to the computer. "Zeb, Sabine, can you two get into the cannons in case we run into any TIEs?"
"On it!" Zeb and Sabine both said in unison, before running to the cannons. Ahsoka sat down. "I had a vision last night."
Kanan stared at her. "You what?"
"I- I had a vision. About Ezra."
"What happened?"
"Ezra was Vader's apprentice, and killing me didn't phase him a bit."
Kanan sighed. "His power is dangerous. When combined with the power of the Dark Side... who knows what he could do. He must be stopped."
Ahsoka smiled a bit. "You care about him."
"What?" Kanan looked at her. "Of course I do! He's my padawan."
Ahsoka still looked about him. "You care about him more that most masters did their padawan. Like- like..." Her voice trailed off.
"Like your master?" Ahsoka nodded. Kanan couldn't help but smile a bit too. "Ahsoka- I know there is some good left in him. I just know."
Ahsoka nodded. "Let's just rescue Ezra, and then we'll talk."
"Entering hyperspace!" Hera called from the cockpit.
"Come on." Ahsoka said. "Let's keep Hera some company." She headed towards the cockpit, Kanan following closely behind.
