Anyways, I hope you enjoy the chapter.
Weiss
Ruby had disappeared, she had disappeared after only taking two steps from her hospital bed which she really shouldn't have left. Weiss' mind began to spin,
What happened? Why did she leave? Where did she go? The questions spun through the heiress' mind as a rose petal flipped and floated down in front of her face.
Spinning around to face an equally amazed and befuddled Yang and Blake, Weiss started to give instructions.
"Yang, go search any of Ruby's favourite locations that you and her visit, she might have gone there." Weiss instructed Yang who was giving her a curious look which Weiss promptly ignored.
"Blake, go look around Beacon for her, she might have gone to our dorm room or the cafeteria." She continued, instructing Blake who had her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"And, I will check the locations that her and I meet. We must also all try to get a hold of her through her scroll, and if need be we can always recruit team JNPR to help us look." Weiss finished, looking back and forth between Blake and Yang.
The Bumblebee pair stood side by side giving Weiss odd looks instead of running off to start to look for Ruby,
Do these dunces not realize that Ruby is still hospitalized and that we need to find her before she gets herself hurt?! Weiss internally screamed.
Weiss was starting to feel a cold flicker of annoyance and anger toward the pair, but before she could berate them for their inactivity, Blake spoke up,
"Uh, Weiss? Are you sure that Ruby's gone? Her Aura is still blanketing the room after all."
Weiss was about to snap back with a snide remark that she in fact did recognize that Ruby's Aura was still with them, but she stopped herself. Blake was right, didn't Ruby have to still be in the room for her aura to be here like this? Ruby said it herself, she couldn't penetrate the walls, roof, or doors with her Aura.
As Weiss thought about the oddity and what it meant, she noticed that Yang's and Blake's expressions had gone from concerned and really quite confused to excited, and smiling. Weiss glared at them, unsure of what to think. she simply stood there, wondering at the grand joke that was seemingly being played on her at such a momentous occasion as Ruby's taking her first steps for the second time. When there was suddenly a cool smooth touch on her face, wrapping from the end of her jawbone all the way to her chin. But before she could do a thing, before she could even register what was happening, her chin was lifted up to face the ceiling, and that was when her lips met those of a certain mischievous redhead. After a few moments of silent kissing, they pulled away from each other, at which time Weiss could take a second to study the position of her girlfriend.
Ruby was sitting on the ceiling, she was sitting cross legged on the ceiling, giving Weiss a massive smile that forced the heiress to break out in a small grin as well.
Weiss composed herself before speaking, "Ruby? WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DOING?!" Weiss shrieked.
Startled, Ruby dropped down from the roof, retracting what looked like massive claws into each of Frosted Stems' fingers on the hinges in each fingertip as she landed steadily in front of Weiss.
"Kissing you to make the moment better?" Ruby asked, seeming to hope that, that was the right answer.
Weiss pinched the bridge of her nose. "The moment was amazing and I did enjoy the kiss, but you really had me worried there. I thought you were going to go and do something reckless and get yourself hurt." Weiss explained.
She shook her head and looked at Ruby, the redhead was really far too adorable for Weiss' own good. "Fine, you dunce. I enjoyed it and I'm glad that you seem to be able to use all of your limbs so well already but you still need rest! So you are staying in here for at least another week, and then and only then are you allowed to dash out of here and continue to be amazing." Weiss lectured.
Ruby pouted, "But Weiss… I'm so bored! I don't think I can take another week cooped up in here." she complained.
Weiss visually examined Ruby, nodding at what she saw, "You look a lot better than last week, but you still need to rest. Although if you rest more than I think you realistically are going to, then maybe I will let you out early." Weiss declared.
Ruby dove back into her hospital bed, once she had fully gotten herself under the covers, she spoke up. "If this is how it's going to be, then I have one condition."
"Mhm? And what would that be?" Weiss asked.
"Firstly, you will make me a huge batch of cookies for when I do get out of here, and secondly, you have to visit me every day with unlimited hugs and kisses. Thirdly, Yang and Blake? I would like it if I could hang out with you guys if you aren't too busy as well." Ruby demanded, sweetness dripping off of her words.
Yang cocked her head and looked around the room at the rest of team RWBY, "Ruby, I don't think anyone here would rather do anything but fulfill those demands of yours. My only concern is that Weiss' cookies taste terrible and I have no idea why you would want them." the blonde responded.
Weiss gave Yang a stare that was halfway between a death stare and a knowing look. Ruby was shocked by this however,
"Yang! What are you talking about? Weiss' cookies are amazing!" Ruby proclaimed, sounding genuinely hurt for the (possibly deserved) insult to Weiss' baking ability.
"Okay, okay, they're amazing, now since it seems that you've agreed to Weiss' terms we should all leave you to get some rest." Yang said.
"Fine…" Ruby glumly agreed.
Blake and Yang filed out of the room with Weiss just finishing one last thing before she too needed to leave. She walked put to Ruby's bedside and kissed her.
"I'm going to take all of them off for you okay? I know you just got them but remember what happened the last time you slept with one on?" Weiss said.
Ruby sighed, "Yeah I guess you're right." she said sadly as she released her hold on each of her limbs one by one. Cold Thorn, White Petal, Frosted Stem, and finally, Ruby's Stem.
Weiss gathered up the limbs and put them beside Ruby on her bedside table. "I will come back in a little while to help you put them back on." Weiss said happily as she tucked Ruby in.
"Okay, thank you Weieiiiiss, good night." Ruby said, yawning halfway through her girlfriend's name.
Rolling her eyes at Ruby, Weiss straightened up and walked to the door. "Goodnight Ruby, I love you." She quietly said.
However Ruby was already asleep and snoring lightly. With that, Weiss closed the door and walked out of the room.
Ruby
"Weiss? can you help me zip up this dress?" Ruby asked, struggling with a dress she was trying to put on.
"I'm sorry Ruby, I'm kind of busy with my own preparations over here." Weiss apologized.
Ruby could sense with her Aura that Weiss was applying something to her face, most likely makeup. The heiress paused and turned toward her.
"Can't you just flip your elbows and zip it up yourself?" Weiss questioned.
Ruby snapped her fingers, resulting in a muted clang. "That's right! I can't believe I forget that I can do that after all the time I have had these." She exclaimed, proceeding to inhumanly bend her elbows backwards and manipulate her zipper to zip up the dress.
"I'm just glad that you haven't forgotten in battle, it has come in handy quite a few times so far." Weiss replied.
The door to the dorm room opened to reveal the striking figures of Blake and Yang, who were already dressed and ready to go.
"What's taking you two Xiao Long?" Yang asked, "You do realize that its starting in fifteen minutes right?"
"First of all, seriously Yang? and Second, WHAT?! I thought we still had an hour and fifteen minutes!?" Weiss yelled, panic evident in her voice.
"Oops! I was sensing the raised numbers and hands on the clock and I must have read it wrong." Ruby said apologetically.
Weiss sighed, "You are such a dolt sometimes, Ruby, but just the same you are my dolt, so my makeup is good enough and I will do yours as we go."
"How are we going to do that?" Ruby asked.
"Carry me." Weiss said as she threw herself into Ruby's arms and immediately started to apply makeup onto Ruby.
"You can sense where Yang and Blake are going and see where you're stepping while I'm blocking your face with your Aura, so, GOGOGOGO!" Weiss screamed, urging Ruby to go as fast as she could, giving allowance for makeup application.
So Ruby carried Weiss in her arms as she ran with Yang and Blake across Beacon to the ceremonial hall, feeling Weiss' expert hands apply the makeup to her face all the while.
"Pant How much time pant do we have? Pant" Blake asked as she dabbed at her forehead.
Weiss stopped applying Ruby's makeup for a second while she pulled out her scroll.
"Damn! we have about three minutes before they start! Yang!" Weiss called over to the brawler.
"Yeah?" she responded.
"Pick up Blake! you have less risk of ruining your own makeup. Sorry Blake but she hasn't even broken a sweat yet." Weiss yelled over to the pair.
Merely nodding, Blake jumped into Yang's arms and immediately started to do her best to touch up her sweat ridden makeup.
Just barely arriving on time at the stage, the four girls got in their place in line behind team JNPR.
"What kept you guys? It's almost time for you to go on." Jaune asked.
"The dual problems of math and makeup is what got us, Jaune. Now it's your turn! Get going!" Ruby said, waving at their sister team to take their place on stage, since their name had been called.
Team JNPR walked up onto the stage and their names were read, they were each given a piece of paper, and after a few final words, they left the stage.
"Team RWBY, you're up." a nearby attendant warned.
"Thanks!" Ruby whisper yelled.
With that, the four girls of team RWBY walked up and onto the same stage where they had been told that they were going to be a team for four years of their lives and Ruby had been told she had begun to earn the title, leader. On this same stage, they were going to graduate from Beacon and their life as true Huntresses would begin.
Professor Ozpin took a sip from his mug as he walked in front of the four girls. He examined them, and after a second, nodded, then began.
"Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long, you are the four members of team RWBY. You have had many hardships over the course of your four years here at Beacon, but together, you have all triumphed and succeeded in becoming astounding Huntresses. Everyone here at Beacon congratulates you on your achievements and wishes you well. Good luck in all of your future endeavours."
The Professor then walked up to each of them and handed them their certificates and then shook their hands, not flinching in the slightest when he took Ruby's grip of cold steel. Once he had handed them their graduation certificates, he gave them a small bow and a smile, signaling the end of the ceremony for them.
With that, the four women of Team RWBY were now fully fledged Huntresses, walking off of the stage and beginning a new life.
So there was a time skip there, they have now graduated from Beacon and are finally moving onto new lives. With this the series I must warn you, is nearing its completion, I estimate one to two chapters are left. I don't want to drag this series out unnecessarily and ruin it. So I thank you heartily for staying with me for all of this time, and I hope that this chapter, and those few that I have left will be a pleasing ending for you all. Till next week!
