Its interesting how Ib can survive the most terrifying things yet she is still alive. Though she better get a move on or else she will never see the light of day, only Mary. -brr-.
Ch. 3 Silent Child
This chase between Ib and Mary has been going on for quite sometime, Ib had to constantly hide and run away just to get away from Mary but no matter where Ib hides Mary seems to know where she is hiding at. As hours passes by Ib hides in a tree while listening to her surroundings if Mary is close by, Ib has been stuck in the tree for an hour and she started thinking its safe to come out. When she got back to the path she sees the purple blue petals that lead her down a path that went through the garden and lead her to a forest that had purple and blue leafs that continued to fall.
Ib began to wonder how far is this place and judging by the looks of this forest and her surroundings it looks like she could get lost if she is not careful or worse she might get caught by Mary. Ib enters the forest and so far the forest has made the area really dark and reminds Ib of a memory when she was lost and could find her way. She follows the path and looks around her surroundings and it's a dense forest that you can get lost easily, Ib remembers from a book that if she marks something or drops a path she can find her way out. She marks the trees with a red marker so that she would know what path she needs to go, the path continued on which felt like hours of thick forest and a few sunlight spots.
In the distance Ib heard her name calling and the way her name is being called is like something is very desperate. Ib ran as fast as she could following the path while the voice became closer to Ib without any intensions to back away, Ib sees up ahead that looked like a small house that has a tall fence up ahead which Ib finds it a good place to hide from Mary. When Ib climbs over the fence she goes to the front door it was locked and she needs to find a key just to open this door, Ib looks around the area of where would a key be hiding and fast before Mary finds Ib.
Ib looks around while trying to keep a low profile preventing Mary from finding her, Ib searches under pots, few bushes, leaves, and even the side of the steps but no luck. Suddenly Ib heard heavy breathing from the other side of the fence and it sounded like it was both angry and annoyed but patient. Ib covered her mouth as Mary from the other side of the fence started knocking on the fence.
"Dear sister~ Come out come out wherever you are, I know you're in the other side of this fence. Its pointless to hide from me so lets go home and ill forgive you for everything. Just come out and we can go home."
Ib knows Mary is going to do something terrible to her if she reviles herself, Ib began to calm down and tried to think where would the key would be at and if there would be some hint that would help Ib though this troublesome path just to find out the truth. A few rose petals began to wisp about and landed on the side of the well which tells Ib its in the well and she has to crank the handle in order to get the key. Ib understood and slowly walks to the well without giving out any noise or anything that will break her silence, Ib slowly goes to the well and looks at the small bucket at the end of the well that shines a key that will let her in the house.
Ib grabs on the handle and rotates it slowly carefully trying not to make too much noise but the squeaking of the wood and the cranking sound that the knob is making isn't helping Ib from being quiet and fearing Mary might be listening to it. After a minute when Ib sees the bucket she quickly nabs the key but she lets go of the knob by accident which causes attention to Mary. Mary peaks from the other side of the fence and has this crazy happy smile across Mary's face along with one of the most creepiest things that Mary said to Ib.
"Found You Ib."
Ib was terrified of how crazy Mary became because of Ib wanting to find out the truth and pursuing the man she wanted to find out. Mary immediately strikes a hole through the fence and does this multiple times just to get in while Ib runs towards front of the door trying to get inside. Ib has a hard time trying to open the door because she is in panic mode while Mary is almost done breaking the fence. When Mary finally got through the fence Ib finally opened the door and swung the door open and managed in a nick of time to get inside while quickly closing the door, but when she is almost closing the door Mary's arm grabs Ib's wrist and begins pulling Ib.
Ib was in shock and in pain because Mary is grabbing Ib's wrist too tight and trying to pull Ib out of the house. Ib tries to slam the door on Mary's arm trying to have Mary pull back from the pain from the door slamming on her arm but it's not working because Mary seems to get pleasure from it since Ib is doing it.
"Ib's arm is mine! I got Ib's arm! Ib's arm is my possession now! But i must have the rest of Ib, Ib's arm is not enough! I want the whole package. Ib please come out here! This arm is not enough. I WANT IT ALL IB I WANT IT!"
Ib began tearing as Mary is starting to jerk Ib's arm and gripping it too tight that her nails began to cut Ib's skin and blood began to come out dripping. Then the house began to howl as a force that came from the hallways of the house passed Ib and pushed Marry by force which caused Marry to let go and fly backwards and slam to the wall knocking Marry unconscious. Ib quickly closed the door and locked it just to be safe, Ib wrapped her injured wrist with a cloth and trying to ignore the pain that Marry gave her. Ib looked around the house and it looked like an old artist house that seems to have an obsession with purple, blue, and red. Everything looked very classy and nothing seemed to be disfigured or anything, Ib saw at the corner of her eye was a shadowy man at the end of the hallway making a hand motion that is telling Ib to, "Come over here."
Ib goes down the hallway that became brighter and brighter as she went down the hallway that lead to one door that had a blue rose on the middle of the door. Ib looked at it and began to think the man wanted to guide Ib to the memory and the truth and its behind this door, Ib grips on the door and slowly opens the door that reviled a room that had a ton of paintings that represented Ib and a tall man with purple hair and a coat. Ib was amazed of how well it was painted and whoever was this person seems to know Ib's missing memory. Ib looked and saw a small chest box on front of the painting that reminded Ib of her dream exempt it was bigger.
Ib took out the key with a purple rose on it and began unlocking the box that obtained what she was looking for. What was inside was a red flower and a small booklet that has a sticky note that said,
"Please read Ib."
Ib began to opened the book and began reading the pages which is almost like a letter to Ib
"Dear Ib If you are reading this you probably know you have missing memories that are calling back to you. My name is Gary and you probably don't remember me but i try reaching out to you because its the only way to tell you of the missing memory that other world and Mary has replaced and removed so that i can be forgotten. This world you are in is a representation back when we were trapped in that other world and you try so hard on decisions, wonder, and constant danger. But I know you are a very strong willed girl and you try you're very hardest to figure out something you don't know and find a way to evade danger and improve yourself.
Ib I also must tell you that Mary is not really your sister because she doesn't belong in reality but to make her exist in you're life and reality she must take a life and use that to exist in reality with you. She fears if you found out the truth she would not exist in your life and you will find her painting and destroy it as vengeance of my death. I know you might be confused now but all those year of me reaching out to you has really payed off, Ib you must find Mary's picture and destroy it and find the door that has a small desk with a empty bottle. Place your rose in the bottle and open the door, there you will find your real life and parents. The life you live right now is full of pain and seeing you suffer is unbearable for me to see in a distance even in death it's a sad sight to witness.
I will try my last of my power to hold off Mary and find you're way out of here because this world is only temporary existing place until you exit and this world is no more. I will pass on when you exit, my job is now done, take the rose and hold onto it and whatever you do don't let go or have Mary take hold of it or everything will be no more. Go on and live out of this lie of a life Mary has shrouded upon you."
Ib closes the little booklet and looks at the red rose Garry mentioned about, Ib picked up the red rose and began to remember the other world and all the dangers and the things Gary and Ib went through. Ib remembers when Gary traded his blue rose for Ib's red rose that Mary took, Ib realizes Ib killed Gary but he said it wasn't her fault and its ok. Ib shook her head and ran out of the house and kept on running so that she can end this nightmare, once and for all. As Ib ran through the forest and entered the confusing garden she sees Mary chasing after Ib and is very angry at Ib discovering the hidden memory Mary tried to keep Ib away from. When Ib saw the exit she jumped through and kept on running hoping the world has been gone along with Mary but Mary has escaped too and still following Ib.
When Ib exited the Art Museum she heads home and hoping she can find Mary's painting in time so that she can destroy it by using fire. Ib locked the door behind her and runs up stairs trying to find Mary's painting, Ib remembers Mary carrying carefully to her room and told her not to look at it because it was a secret but she knew it was Mary's painting. Ib began to search in Mary's room and so far no luck until she sees a small gap in the wall, Ib gripped on the side of the gap and began pulling until it slowly opened. When she got to finally open the hidden door Mary was at the other side of the window with an angry expression.
"IB! DONT YOU DARE! YOU'RE GOING TO KILL YOU"RE ONLY SISTER! IB YOU ARE MY ONLY FRIEND! IF YOU KILL ME YOU ARE GOING TO BE ALONE! IM GOING TO BE ALONE!"
Ib gave a serious look and takes out a bottle of alcohol that has a rag that Ib took from the kitties and was about to light it on fire.
"You are not my sister Mary! You had brought nothing but misery and this life is not mine! This is a fake world and i have been suffering in it because of you! Im going to return a favor that i should have done a long time ago when you killed Gary!"
When Ib lit the cloth on fire Mary smashed the window attempting to grab Ib but it was too late Ib threw the bottle at the painting and it burst into flames along with Mary whom bursted int flames. Mary screamed in pain as she rolled all over the floor as her painting slowly began to burn into ashes.
"IB! THIS ISNT OVER! I WILL HAUNT YOU AND YOU WILL FOREVER BE MY SISTER WITH OR WITHOUT MEMORY I WILL FIND YOU AND TAKE YOU WITH ME!"
Ib turned and shut the door and ignored her knowing she will be a forgotten memory. As Ib sighed knowing what she did was the right thing and for Mary is no more, but now Ib must go to the red rose door that has a desk with an empty bottle. She walks through the hallways in search for the door, by surprise her room is the red rose door that has a table next to it with an empty bottle on top of it. Ib first places her red rose like Gary told her then she opens the door that is glowing light laminating the area, Ib enters the the door and the door closes as Ib enters her true life.

Alight thats the end of this fanfic of Ib now next is…i dunno but it depends what. Expect something probably scary or something, but i do know the ending is rushed and if i lighter too much detail its gonna be a drag on the story. Message me if theres something Im missing or i should add and yeah.
