The next day Hermione ignored Ron he tried to apologize but she would not let him. He and Harry were walking down to breakfast talking about last night. Harry was only half listening he could not believe that he had said those things. Just then they heard a voice that they both hated. "Mr. Weasley did I just hear you calling a classmate an Ugly One Brained Know It All Fish?" Um um... I ...I". "Mr Weasley I am not surprised that you came up with that however I will not tolerate name calling. You have detention for the rest of the week. After classes." With that Professor Snape walked away leaving Harry and Ron stunned.
Roo What is wrong? And don't tell me nothing I can tell that something is wrong!" "Dash I can't tell you!" "What do you mean you can't tell me?" "If I tell you, you have to promise that you will not overreact! Uncle Sev is taking care of it!" " I don't like the sound of that Roo but if Uncle Sev has things under control then I promise." Weasley was being a jerk again last night and said some mean things about me. I told Uncle Sev and he told me he would take care of it and you know that he keeps his promise" "Ugh that jerk I really don't like him Roo and if I could would hex him in fact I want to do more then that I want to punch his bloody face in! But if Uncle Sev said he has it under control I will believe him and it is not like I can just punch him without reason. Love You Roo!" "Thanks Dash! Love You Too!"
As Ron and Harry sat down at the table Fred asked "What has got you in such a sour mood?" "Yeah said George it looks like someone just told you all the food was gone!" "I got detention from Professor Snape for a week!" All I did was call some an Ugly One Brained Know It All Fish! "Mr. Weasley I warned you about name calling you now have a month detention and I am very tempted to make it two months!" "Wow Little Bro you better watch what you say or you are going be in a lot more trouble. Detention with Snape is not fun trust us we have been there more then once said Fred. "And we obviously need to teach you better insults and names to cal people no can only have one brain and be a know it all at the same time and also there are some very pretty fish out there said George.
Hermione having heard the conversation was smiling and she touched her ring and told Draco what had happened. He could not help but smirk and he looked up at Professor Snape and they both quickly smiled so that no one would see. She was angry that he had called her that on top of what he said the night before and as much as she did not want to she knew that at some point she would have to forgive him. She had taken Uncle Severus advice and got to know her roommates and she had to admit she actually liked them. Except for the fact that they were all boy crazy they were all pretty nice.
She also kept telling herself that she they only had about three weeks until Christmas Break when for two whole weeks she would not have to deal with Weasley or anybody else. She would be with her whole family and she wouldn't have to be called Hermione or Miss Granger she would be Adrianna Star Lane. Of course she would still be called Roo but she would not have to hear the name Hermione or Granger as no one in her family called her that. She and Dash would finally be able to spend their time together without having to pretend that they hated each other. She could not wait she hoped that the weeks flew by,
"Um Professor!" "Yes Miss Granger?" Snape said with his trademark snarl just before class was over, he hated to be mean to her but they both knew that it had to be that way. "I um have a question about the essay you assainged us and was wondering if I could talk to you about it after class." "As long as you make it quick Miss Granger I have things I need to do!" After the class left he cast a silencing spell just in case someone was outside the door. "I know you know that I don't have a question!" "Yes Roo I do know that." "I wanted to say thank you. He was pretty mad when you after words and of course Dash was beyond happy. He was ready to punch him in the face!" It was my pleasure Roo I have never liked that family and well when someone insults my family they insult me of course he does not know that. And he also needed to be punished for that horrible insult he does not have the brains to come up with a good one." I can not believe you just said that Uncle Sev even though it is true! Thanks again! You are the Best Uncle Ever!" "Anytime Roo now get going before people think I did something to you."
Hermione walked away with a smile on her face even if no one could know who she really was she was glad that she still could talk to Draco and Uncle Severus she didn't think she would be able to make it if she did not have them.
