After breakfast it was decided that they would decorate the house for Christmas. A few of the family members would be joining them. They used magic for a few things like putting up the tree but they mostly did things the muggle way. They put up Garland, mistletoe,holly, Ivy, lights and stockings. Every room in the house was decorated it was a little over the top but it was their favorite time of year and they were together and they had so much fun doing it!.
After all the decorating was done they decided that they would do a bit of sightseeing. It was one of everyone's favorite places and the sights never got old. They got back at about 7:00 Adrianna and Draco had been asking if they could have a bonfire and s mores so that is what they did. They sat around the fire just talking and telling stories. Stories that never got old like about when the adults were in Hogwarts, and about the funny and cute things that Roo and Dash did when they were little.
Before they knew it, Christmas Day had approached. Draco was sleeping when he heard in his head "Dash get out of bed it is Christmas Morn" He was not a morning person so he rolled over and ignored the voice in his head. The next thing her knew was that his bed was moving and he knew the reason why. This happened every Christmas and all other times that Adrianna was excited.
"Draco get up!" she yelled. The only part he moved was his leg tripping her and making her fall onto his bed. This once again always happened and yet she was never prepared for it. "What time is it Roo?" "Six O'clock time to get out of bed and open presents!" "You know that I do not like mornings it is to early to get up!" "Draco she said with a little whine to her voice this is always the time that we get up on Christmas and this is the time that we will always get up on this day! Now get up!"
They ran downstairs and into the sitting room they were shocked to see that their was extra people. Along with their parents was Severus, Andromeda, Ted, Nymphadora, and Bellatrix. They knew that Severus, Andromeda, Ted and Nymphadora were going to be there but they were shocked to see Bellatrix.
"Merry Christmas everyone!" Both kids said as the adults all returned the greeting. "Aunt Bella what are you doing here?" asked Draco. "I am happy to see you but..." I know what you mean Dash I am just stopping by quick to say hello and to wish my family a Merry Christmas as well as give you your presents I have to get back before Rodolphus wakes up! Merry Christmas I love you guys!" She hugged everyone and she was gone.
" I so wish this mess was all over my perfect Christmas would to actually spend the day with both my sisters, not that I don't love this but..." " I know exactly what you mean Andi, one of these days that will happen I know it will." Said Narcissa.
They spent the morning opening gifts. Draco, Adrianna and Nymphadora all got new brooms. Draco could not wait to get up on the sky. "Roo, Dora lets go flying!" said Draco. The girls agreed and they spent a few hours flying and being together. It was hard for everybody to keep the secrets but they knew they had to and it was moments like this that they looked forward to.
The Tonks family stayed a few days but Severus had to go back to Hogwarts that night. They enjoyed the days just being a family because once the Holidays were over they would have to go back to "hating each other". Lucius and Dimitri were trying to figure out ways to get rid of Tom Riddle for good. They knew that their was a Prophecy about Harry Potter and Voldemort but they did not know what it said. They did know that both of them would do whatever it took to to protect their family and friends even if t meant living a secret life and acting a certain way. They were both in the study talking that night with Ted.
"Do you really think the girls are right about the fact that Draco and Adrianna would end up together in end?" Asked Lucius. "I do said Dimitri, they are best friends" "I hope they do, I love them both as if they were my own kids but at the same time I sometimes wonder if they will be able to survive this together said Ted. We all know that this is going to get harder on all of us and it is really going to get harder on them as they get older."
"You are right however they are both strong and they have the rings that they never take off. They both always apologize after saying something mean to each other and this does suck but their is really nothing we can do" said Lucius. With that being said they all went to bed. Each of them thinking that they would have a talk with the kids the next day making sure that they never gave up on each other no matter what happened or no matter what the other one said.
