The Malfoy and Lane family arrived at the Airport at boarded the plan headed for Michigan they were to arrive in Traverse City and from there they would apparate to Mackinaw City where they would take a ferry to Mackinac Island! Neither Adrianna or Draco could wait they were both so excited.

The flight of course went off without a hitch and soon they had completed part one of their trip. No it was the hard part finding a place to apparate. They found a little area that had no body in it and Dimitri, Lucius and Draco grabbed hands, while Zelina, Narcissa, and Adrianna did the same. They decided that it would be easier that way so that they could arrive in the restrooms at the Arnold Line Ferry Service soon they were spinning through the air. They landed and boarded the boat.

It would take them about 30 to 40 minutes to get there. Waiting for them at the dock would be the families butlers. Seeing as people in America and es epically in Michigan were more observant they could not bring the house elves with them no could their houses be invisible. They still had wards set up so that if someone they did not know tried enter they would know. They also had a barrier up above the house so that they could fly without being seen as long as they stayed in the barrier.

Draco and Adrianna spent the boat ride walking around and talking. Lucius and Dimitri talked business like usual while Zelina and Narcissa took pictures and watched they way the kids. Hermione and Draco were at the front of the boat before it even docked. They were waving as hard as they could to Erik and Elijah. Erik was the Lane family's butler while Elijah was the Malfoy's butler. Both of them were squibs and they lived on the Island year round.

They were also cousins they had left England when they were seventeen and eighteen years old they had gone to collage and were both school teachers at the small Island school. They were also third cousins with Zelina on her mother's side and the only squibs in the family. It was a mystery on how it happend. They lived in the pool houses but everyone on the Island thought that lived in the houses and that the Lane and Malfoy's were relatives from England. Only their wives knew the truth.

"Uncle Erik, Uncle Elijah!" Yelled Adrianna as they got closer to the dock. They got off the boat and Adrianna and Draco went running up to Erik and Elijah they all hugged while the adults made their way over and exchanged hugs as well. They loaded their luggage into the carriages both families having their own.

As they made their way to the houses that were of course right next to each other. None of them could keep the smiles off their faces. Three months away form the Wizzarding World and from all the annoying people that they saw on a daily bases from September to June. The only thing they would have to worry about was accidentally exposing themselves but they knew how to fix that if they did.

It was only a few minutes before they arrived at the houses. They were both old Victorian homes, the Lane families was a light green four story house with a wrap around deck and at least two smaller decks on all the other stories and lots of windows. The Malfoy's was a light blue with four stories as well, it also had a wrap around deck with varies small decks and windows as well. Of course it was protected so that if they were doing magic the Muggles could not see. Their was a pool in between the houses with a pool house on each side.

The inside was well amazing. They were at fifteen rooms in each house. Everything you could think of really. After they got inside and settled down they all hoped on bikes that they kept there and went into town to get some fudge. It was one of the best things about the Island and no matter how hard other places and people tried to make fudge it was never the same as it was on Mackinac Island.

After getting the fudge they decided to ride around the Island and do some exploring. When they got back Lucius was shocked to see his sister in law Bellatrix in his house. She had came thru the Floo network and only four Floos were connected to each of the houses. They did not use it very much as it was very tiring flooing internally and also much more messier. The four floos that were connected were each of their offices, Bellatrix private office that could only be opened by her and one other person her Secret Keeper, and the last one was Dumbledore's private floo.

"Aunt Bella what are you doing here?" asked Draco as he ran over and hugged her she of course hugged him back.

"Well as much as I would love for it to be a social call it is not. The Evil Jerk contacted me and wanted me to get a hold of you to tell you he has a mission for you. I have no idea what it is but knowing him it is not good and it makes me want to get rid of him even sooner. This whole thing bites and... UGH!"Bellatrix replied.

"Did you tell him that I would be with my family for the summer on vacation?" asked Lucius.

"Yes I did and he told me that was fine but that he also knew that I would know where to find you and I was to relay the message he expects to see you the day you get back as he plan contains the new school year."

Just then Adrianna came thru the door. "Aunt Bella!" "Hi Roo! I just had to stop by and talk to Uncle Lucius about something. I am glad that I got to see you however. Have fun and bring me back some gifts. I love you all." Bellatrix said.

"We will bring you back something" said Adrianna. "And of course we will have fun" finished Draco.

"We love you too!" Lucius, Draco and Adrianna all said at the same time and with that Bellatrix was on her way back to England before her horrible husband knew she was gone.

Rodolphus had not always been the Evil man he was today. When him and Bellatrix had first started dated he was a nice guy. That all changed the day that his cousin and best friend had died when they got hit with a car driven by a muggle who was not paying attention and hit Vesten killing him. It was at that moment even though his family had always disliked Muggles that he decided it was time for revenge he would find the person who took his best friend and make him pay. He turned into a mad man and became the man everyone now knew.

Bellatrix had been tricked into marry him and it of course had been a wizard wedding so they were bonded together and they only way that the bond would break was for one of them to die at the hand of another. If they tired to kill each other nothing would happen it could not be done. No one at the moment could figure out how to get rid of him without it looking like an accident. Oh how they all hated him.

Bellatrix retuned to her study to hear a knocking on her door. She opened it and looked into the angry face of her husband. "What have you been doing?" he asked with a sneer. "I fell asleep on the couch and was dreaming. I am sorry if I worried you. You know how hard I sometimes sleep." She said with a little smile. While at the same time she was clearing her mind in case he tried to enter it.

Thankfully it worked and he believed her after all she did look like she was going to fall asleep any moment.

"Very well I will let you go back to sleep." He said as he turned around and walked away. She closed her door and sealed it once again and this time she really did fall asleep on her couch.
