A/N: It has been way to long since I have updated and I am so sorry! :( I thank all of you have read, commented, added it as favorite or are following. And as you all know I do not own Harry Potter. I am sorry that this update is short I promise the next one will be longer! :)

As they entered the Great Hall Hermione looked up and saw Severus looking at her she quickly smiled at him and he smirked back. She took her seat between Ron and Harry. As everybody was listening to the hat Hermione heard "How does the Hat come up this stuff? I think it must be crazy! But smart at the sometime as it hardly touched my head and it knows who you are!"

"I agree she responded back, now pay attention Uncle Sev is watching us."

"He always watches us, it is not like we are going to get in trouble"

Hermione went back to listening to the hat as he sorted the 1st years and of course she acted excited when Ginny was sorted in Gyffindor. Even though she could have cared less. The next morning Hermione was of course up and ready to go before everyone else she started down for Breakfast and ran smack dab into Professor Snape.

"Professor I am sorry for running into you" At this point a few more students stated to come down

"Well Ms. Granger if you would pay attention to where you were going you would not run into people" he said with his usual snare.

She once again acted hurt like she always did when he said something mean to her.

She sat down at the Gyffindor table and soon Ginny was sitting next to her. Unlike her brothers she liked mornings and so far had shown that she was nothing like them. She was a bit spoiled but that was understandable being the only girl in the family.

"Good Morning Hermione, is it okay if I sit with you? I don't know anyone very well yet?"

"Of Course you can Ginny"

The two girls sat and ate breakfast all while talking about a few things. The hall had started to fill up with people and Ginny recognized a few of the others at their table and had started to talk to them. It was with that that Hermione told her she was going to the Library before class that she had missed it.

She did love to read yes but she was not as crazy about reading as everyone thought she was.

She really was not going to the Library but she knew that no other student would want t step foot in it the first day back. She had seen Snape get up and leave and she wanted to talk to him before class.

She made her way down to the Dungeons hoping that she didn't run into any of the Snakes. Thankfully she made to his door without seeing anyone and knocked.

"Enter" she heard him say

As soon as he saw her he got up and spelled the door as well as put a silencing spell up and he hugged her.

"Roo I am so happy to see you and about this morning I...

She cut him off "Uncle Severus I know you didn't mean it. Dash I and were wondering if you could in anyway help us see more of each other, we hardly ever get to spend time together while at school we have our rings that Uncle Sirius gave us but it is not the same."

"I know what you mean Roo it is so much easier for me to see and keep an eye on Dash seeing as he is in my house and you actually should have been as well"

"The hat did tell me it knew who I was really was and that I should be in Slytherin but to keep the secret it couldn't put me there.

"Yes the hat is a wonderful and mysterious thing crazy at times as well. Give me a few days and I will figure out a way to have you and Dash see each other. Now if I were you I would use the door in my chamber to get out of here before any one else arrives. I will see you in a few minutes."

He hugged her and she went into his chamber the teachers all had a secret door that led them to library so that shall they need a book at anytime of the day or night they could easily go and get it without disturbing anyone.

As she was walking she touched her ring "Dash I just talked to Uncle Sev and he is going to see if he can find a way for us to see each other"

"That is great Roo! I am so excited that I get to see you in a few minutes I will try not to be to hard on you but can't make any promises!"

"I know Dash I am excited as well.
