I can never own Harry Potter, can I?

Well, just read, review and enjoy!

After the welcoming feast at Hogwarts, Professor Dumbledore stood up once more.

"What does he have to say now? Hasn't he already made my life a living hell already?" Draco thought.

"What does Dumbledore want now? I think I have had enough for one night." Hermione thought.

Dumbledore said, "I request the Head Girl and Boy, Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy to come and meet me, as the other students head down to their dormitories."

"See you guys later!" Hermione said.

"Yeah sure." Ron said. "Just take care not to get a lot of Malfoy germs on yourself."

"Ha ha. Okay Ron. I'll take care." She replied and started to walk towards Dumbledore.

"Take care Malfoy!" Blaise Zabini said.

"Yes Drake and have fun!" Pansy said.

"How do you think I can have fun?" Draco asked. "Being with Granger is no fun at all. She's a bookworm."

"Well.. There are other ways of having fun." Blaise said with a sly smile. "Am I not right Pansy?"

"Of course you're right!" a smiling Pansy said.

"Real mature guys." Draco said glaring at the two of them. "Real mature."

With that, he made his way towards Dumbledore ignoring Blaise's laughter.

Both Hermione and Draco reached Dumbledore. "Is the place ready?" Dumbledore was asking McGonagall. "Yes Albus." She replied. "Everything is perfect." "Good. As this is the first time we have planned something like this, it has to perfect."

Hermione and Draco were confused. What was this new place? And what had they planned? They were snapped out of their deep thinking by Professor Dumbledore. "I need to show you a place. Please follow me." He said. "Um.. Yeah sure Professor." Hermione said and they followed him.

Hermione was a bit afraid to ask Dumbledore about this new place. But Draco was braver than her, so he asked Dumbledore. "Excuse me sir?"

"Yes Mr. Malfoy?"

"What is this new place you were talking about to Professor McGonagall?" he asked.

"You will see very soon Mr. Malfoy. That is place is all yours." Dumbledore replied.

"All mine?"

"No, it's yours and Miss. Granger's."

"But, sir, what is this place?" Hermione asked.

"Come with me first. I will show you." And he began to walk again.

"Do you have any idea what this place might be Granger?" Draco whispered to Hermione.

"I think I have a hunch." She replied. He just nodded.

Finally, they reached a portrait. There was no one in the portrait. "Um, Professor, why is there no one in the portrait?" Hermione asked.

"You can choose anyone you want to be in this portrait." Dumbledore said.

"Me? Why should I choose?" she asked in surprise. "No, no Miss. Granger." Dumbledore said. "You and Mr. Malfoy have to decide on this."

"What? But why us?" Malfoy asked.

"Because, this place belongs to both of you for the rest of the year."

"What do you mean?"

"These are the Head Dorms"

"The Head Dorms? Why weren't we informed of this before? I would have just given up my Head Girl post. It's impossible!" Hermione cried.

"Yeah. Me and Granger in the same dorm! I'm warning you professor. If anything is destroyed, then please don't blame us." Malfoy said angrily.

"Of course, Mr. Malfoy. You don't need to worry about that. I knew this would be difficult for you, so I have decided on a very good idea."

"And what would that be?" Hermione asked, still ferocious at the idea of her a Malfoy living in the same dorm. Draco was astonished. Hermione Granger, who was afraid of offending any teacher, was being rude to the Headmaster! This was really a sight to see.

"I have decided," Dumbledore's speech brought Draco out of his thoughts. "that both you will be allowed to bring three friends each to come and live with you."

"Professor," Draco said. "If we bring our friends here, then I'm afraid the dorm will be upside down."

"Yeah. The more number of people, the more the destruction." Hermione agreed.

"You don't have to worry about that Miss. Granger. No such thing will happen."

"Fine." They both said at the same time. Dumbledore expected them to jump at each other for saying the same thing. But instead, they just remained satisfied with glaring at each other.

"Now all you have to do is choose someone for the portrait and set the password. For choosing the person in the portrait just say the person's name followed by the incantation 'dormitorium cavisse' and a flick of your wands. And then go to your respective common rooms to get your three companions. Good luck." Dumbledore said and began to walk away.

"Wait, what? You want the both of us to agree on something?" Hermione shouted after him.

"Yeah. We can never agree on something, let alone a password or a portrait." Draco said.

But Dumbledore as already gone. "Great." Hermione said. "Just great. My life is so.." she paused not getting the right word. "Mean?" Draco offered. "Yeah mean, bitter, evil and.. WAIT! Did we just agree on something?" she asked in complete surprise. Draco was also shocked. "Yeah. I think we did." He said. "Well, Malfoy I think we can agree on a person for the portrait and a password. Don't you think so?" she asked him.

"Well, yes. As scary as it is, I think we can agree on this." He said, nodding all the time.

"Fine then. Whom do you want for the portrait?" she asked him.

"I think we should have…. Um.. Salazar Slytherin?" he asked.

"What! That's a wonderful idea to have the founder of a house but no. Not Salazar Slytherin. We'll have Godric Gryffindor." She said.

"This is not fair!" Draco said as if he was a four year old and his mummy was not letting him have cookies.

"Yes it is fair." Hermione said.

"Wait. Do you think we can have more than one person?" Draco asked slowly, as an idea entered his brain. "I think we can." Hermione said, a similar idea entering her mind.

"Yeah! We could have Salazar Slytherin AND Godric Gryffindor. What do you say?" He looked at her for approval.

"Don't be so mean Draco. We'll have all the four founders." She said with a hint of anger in her voice. "Okay, okay." Draco said. "Let's try it then."

"They pointed their wands at the portrait and said, "Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff. Dormitorium Cavisse!" They then stood there, hoping it would work. And it did! The four founders appeared in the portrait, but they were asleep. Draco and Hermione stared at each other, not knowing what to do. "Shall we wake them up?" Draco asked.

"I'll try first" Hermione said and went towards Rowena Ravenclaw. She gently poked her with her finger. Draco watched her. "She's poking at her so gently, just as if she's waking a kid." He thought and suddenly, an image entered his mind. A small boy with blonde hair and brown eyes who was asleep, gently being poked by Hermione. Merlin's beard! He was imagining Hermione as the mother of his kids! He immediately threw the image out of his head.

Meanwhile, Ravenclaw woke up. "What's the password?" She asked sleepily. Hermione looked at Draco. He came forward and said, "GSRH Hogwarts." "Fine." Rowena said and went back to sleep. "Nice choice." Hermione said to him. She understood he had taken the names of all the founders. He smiled and nodded. "Shall we go to our common rooms to get our friends?" he asked her. "Sure." She replied and they turned in the direction of their own common rooms and left.

"Maybe sharing a dorm won't be too bad." They both thought.
