AN: It snowed again last night. ANOTHER 4 INCHES. *face palm*

Ps - I'm kinda in love with the awkwardness of this snippet...

Coolness crisped the air as he sagged back against the leather sofa in the darkened lounge; exhausted but unable to sleep.

It had been a great night by all accounts. Crowded and loud - as most gatherings featuring the Solo family tended to be - it had been nice to relax and unwind for a while.

Opening his eyes he focused lazily on the selection of glassware on the console table in front of him.

"Can't sleep?" A familiar rough voice startled him from the shadowed galley.

Jag shook his head to the negative. "It's too hot."

Han looked at him quizzically, pulling a bottle of water from the cooler. "Too hot?"

"That bunk," he tilted his head towards the bedroom hallway, "is covered in approximately twenty pounds worth of blankets."

Han handed the younger man a water, a laughed softly, before settling down on the arm of the sofa across from him.

"She's literally pouring sweating, but if I take even one blanket off, she wakes up and pulls it back on."

"She nests. Leia does too."

"Really?" jag asked mildly surprised, taking a swig of water. Han never opened up to anyone about his family, especially Leia.

"It's the Skywalker blood; dessert blood. Luke's the same. My boys were never like that," Han added quietly and looked down at his hands. A stab of sadness lanced through Jag's heart. He had been watching Jaina try to come to terms with the loss of her brothers for years now; tried in vain to help her struggle through the loss. "Even as a little girl, Jay was always nested. I didn't realize she would still be doing that."

"Yeah," Jag smiled in memory, feeling slightly off-kilter by the openness of the hardened ex-spacer in front of him. "She's been doing that ever since I've been-" Han raised his eyebrows.

Jag shifted minutely under the glare of his fiance's father, suddenly uncomfortable with his half dressed state, pulling his robe a bit further across his chest, . "Ever since I've known her, I meant."

"Uh huh."
