power rangers delta force chapter 13 the hall of heroes part one power lost
chris stumbles through the wreckage of the command post searching for the other rangers falling over the the rubble getting up wincing in pain a hand going for his dislocated shoulder blood oozing from the numerous cuts across his body
"guys guys are you here can anyone hear me" he says coughing
"chris im over hear " he hears tommys voice comeing from where the alarm sysem was blareing a few hours before hand he stumbles over helping his friend up with his good arm
"tommy you ok anything broken"
"nah im fine jus a few scrapes " he says standing up "you found any of the others
"no yet kim and tori were over by the computers and trent danny and leo were outside fighting i just hope the blast diddent kill them"
they keep searching and dig tori kim danny leo justin trent and jen out from the rubble but still cant find nearly half of the team so spread out though the command post to find them chris ges near the armory and leans against the wall holding his arm in agony
"chris let me take a look a that" tori asks walking over to him
"no tori im fine" he says pulling away from her
"why do you refuse to let me help its like fighting lothor all over again"
"don't you bring that into this you know why i had to fight alone" he says walking away
"yeah because he killed the man who gave you the shadow morpher and brainwashed you but you don't need to do this fight alone"
he sighs "tori its not that i made a promise i defend the earth if i can defend my own home how can i beat him"
tori walks over and takes his head in her hands "chris look we all believe in you you can end this war and defend the earth"
he looks into her eyes and nods "ok lets get going" he says before leaning in closer
"yeah we should really find he others" she says getting closer to him there lips inches apart
"we really should " he says before kissing her deeply there tongues wrestling for control before pulling away " ok we really should go"
she nods and they keep searching after half hour of looking they go back to the others to see they couldn't find anyone
chris sighs looking around and out through the hole in the wall the dark masters army came in through and see the black queen standing there surrounded by monsters and minions
"there they are bring them to me" she says pointing to the command post
the rangers get ready "DELTA RANGERS POWER UP"chris shouts
"BRONZE RANGER DELTA POWER"
the rangers Armour appears around them but vanishes just as quickly
"what happened wheres or powers" danny asks
"there gone"jen says
"he damage to this place must have caused our powers to fail" Justin says
"ok guys we cant morph we can fight so run" Chris says
"what about the others" Leo asks
"there not here they have to be somewhere else" Chris says "well be no use o them if we get caught " he says entering the med bay and opening a hidden hatch on the floor "but if im right selpitia would have brought them here now get in quick"
the rangers jump down the hatch and chris locks it behind them staying on the other side
"Chris what are you doing" tori shouts up to him
"just go follow the tunnels it'll take you somewhere safe ill head them off"he says getting ready to fight with one arm
the rangers head through the tunnels into a torch lit chamber where the Armour and weapons of all the old rangers are along the walls
"what is this place " Danny asks
"this rangers is he hall of heroes" selphitia says as she enters from the back of the chamber "the others are through here healing were is Chris"
"he stayed behind to hold them off" tori says
back in the command post Chris is on his knees in front of the black queen her sword to his neck "now gold ranger where are the rangers"
he laughs and spits blood at her feet "you'll never find them and ill never tell you"
she smiles and grabs him by his dislocated shoulder causing him to scream in pain "maybe you'll tell the dark master then " and with that teleports them to the mars base
