Chapter 18 the end
This will be my last chapter of this fic but will start on the sequel soon and following that i may write a pre sequel exaining chris' ties to the old ranger teams thanks for all eho have tead and enjoy the last chapter
Chris wakes up his headache finally residing looking around a familiar sight. He gets to his feet seeing the darkened hall of Heroes and frowns. Thinking to himself something isent right he walks over to the computers and powers one up activating a hologram of bret in the gold delta armor his helmet under his arm
"This is security measure 62 chris if your seeing this then you've woken up alone. The date i recorded this is october 16th 2014 the day you fell into the hall of heroes in a coma. If your watching this then we have failed to stop the destiny that toris future self the black queen showed me. Meaning my transformation to the dark master is complete and you must stop me" the hologram explains while chris walks the hall looking for any way to find out the date finally finding it on the system. The date showing january 27 2015 the day of the transformation is due to take place. "i have found a way to stop the dark power turning us for good but if we have been lost its up to you and any other power rangers left alive to do it. Find the universal crystal its the only hope we have left the eltarian failsafe it will absorb all the powers of the alpha beta delta and omega crystals activating there powers and morphing abilities. I am so sorry this has befallen you the elders informed me that you should have been in my position but changes time this may very well be the last chance the universe has" the hologram turns its head looking right at chris "and may the power protect you allways."
With that the hologram switches off leaving chris in the low light alone "ok i hope theres enough power in this place for one last search"
"Maybe i can help" a robotic voice says from the shadows as alpha appears
"Alpha your still here" chris says
"Yes your brother chose me to stay and watch over you the battle has all most been lost all ranger teams are in hiding" the robot says
"Do you know where the crystal i need to find is" chris asks as alpha nods "where".
"Its inside zordons time warp"
"Zordons time warp has been lost since his death" chris says "how am i supposed to find it."
"I have found it but that isent the problem" Alpha says
"Where is it" he asks
"On a planet at the edge of a black hole in four hours it will be gone forever" alpha says
"Teleport me as close as you can now" chris says
The droid nods powering up the teleporter as chris picks up a scanner. Alpha presses the button sending him to the far off planet chris looks down at the scanner seeing he isn't far from his destination and smiles heading towards the bleeping dot. After ten minuets of walking he sees in the distance the remains of zordons time warp and smiles "that was easy" he gets closer seeing a vortex appear. "What now" he says stopping as veramax steps out with two swords on his back
"Chris it seems you where successful but now you have one more challenge to face before you get your true destiny you must destroy me."
"Haven'tt you learnt yet you cant beat me veramax" chris says getting ready
"In unarmed combat yes but this time we fight with swords to the death" he says throwing one to the hero.
Chris nods catching the sword as the time keeper runs at him his blade raised bringing it down onto chris' head. The gold ranger lifts the blade up to block the blow the blades clashing and sparks flying. Chris steps back slicing at veramax's legs which is blocked and the time keeper kicks the hero in the chest knocking him back bringing the blade up across his chest leaving a shallow cut through chris skin. Chris looks down at the cut and charges back at veramax there blades clashing again across the dark planet.
Meanwhile on earth in the ruins of the angel grove juice bar the rangers are sitting marking up there plan for the final attack. Bret digs the stick into the dirt and sighs there powers all having failed days ago. "I hope this works jason your gonna take the mmpr zeo and space rangers and take the left flank. Kendrix your gonna take the galexy timefoce and lightspeed rangers on the right. Cole you wildforce ninja storm and dino thunder are gonna go from behind the main force. While me delta alpha and beta take them head on hopfully if alphas info was right chris will get here soon with the universal crystal" he says as they all nod getting up and leaving staying in the shadows to the mall.
With chris both warriors stand a few feet apart both covered in various cuts there energy being sapped from them. Chris brings his sword up infront of his face and closes his eyes as veramax runs at him chris copies the move not opening his eyes slicing the blade downwards as he passes veramax as the time keeper sends his sideways
On earth the ranger teams are all stood ready for the final assault with thousands of foot soildiers between them and the dark allience bret gives the signal and every one of them charge to meet there fate
With chris veramax falls into the dirt and explodes as chris bleeding badly walks over to the universal crystal before falling himself his arm stretching out to it desperately as the planet is sucked into the black hole
And thats where im gonna finish it what is the fate of the ranger army has chris manages to get to the crystal to stop there horrible destiny find out in my sequel power rangers universal force and please review
