The day of the first move had come and Elizabeth and Daniel where there to make sure that everything went the way it was suppose to. "Well I think that everything is ready to go, there's a few odd things but as long as they kept to their own districts in the beginning they should feel at home in a few weeks." Daniel said as he finished his examination of a statue which showed two people sitting with their foreheads together and a cup of tea each.

"Yes, I agree with you and I think that the Athosians are the best choice too, but I'm not sure about their trading partners, we've never even meet them before, and I'm feeling even more unsure about giving the Coalition of Planets room here in the first move." Elizabeth said they walked away from the Athosian district and found themselves in the Tollan district at the centre of the town.

"Well I heard from Sheppard that Ladon will be leading a group of envoys who will be sent here to examine if the entire Coalition should request refuge here." He said as they took a transporter to the gate room, the transporters installed in the city was derived from the ones used in city ships but the boxy style had been removed and instead it simply used a base plate and a forcefield which made sure no hands or feet got cut of.

In the gate room, which sat bellow the control room that could only be reached by the transport platforms or by emergency tunnels both which of which required high level clearance, they meet Narim who stood in front of the white, purple and green gates, a regular gate had not been placed there to because it would clash with the one on Earth and they didn't feel like having two points of entry for invaders even if the two gates hadn't clashed. "We're all set here, the control room is manned and the receiving room is ready to receive people." He said as the white gate begun to dial. "Good we'll return with the first five hundred as soon as we can." Daniel said before he and Elizabeth stepped through the gate.

On the other side of the gate Sheppard was meeting them. "I take it everything is ready?" He asked as the trio left the room. "Yes, we're only waiting for the people who will be moving to arrive." Daniel said. "We're just waiting for Ladon to arrive along with the rest of the envoys from the Coalition of Planets" Sheppard said as they made their way to the square outside of the city, there around five hundred of the people who would be moved was standing patiently, in the square a podium was standing and onto that podium the three walked.

"Hello everyone, for those of you who don't know me my name is Doctor Elizabeth Weir and this is General John Sheppard and Doctor Daniel Jackson, we represent the people of Earth, the people who has offered you refuge under our protection. I hope that all of you have chosen to come here by your own free will and if you at any time feel that you made the wrong choice we will return you to the planet from which you came as well as give you a basic survival kit and anything else you may need to return to your previous life. In a minute we will begin to send you through to Mars, so if anyone wants to walk away from this, now is your chance to do so." Elizabeth said and made a pause to see if anyone would walk away, but after living in fear of the Wraith their entire lives everyone was ready to risk their lives so that their children or grandchildren could live without that fear, so everyone stayed where they where, some even moved closer, so she continued. "The Athosians can begin making their way to the gate. The rest of you stay here so I can explain how we are going to do this, behind me is the Tower, just inside the entrances you will find two rooms packed with sleighs which hovers about the ground, you can use these sleighs to transport anything you want to take with you to Mars, once all your belongings are on the sleighs or otherwise on your person you should follow the green light which runs along the corridor floor, these lights will lead you to the gate room, there you will find an active stargate which is white, don't worry about the colour of the gate being different, for those of you who want to know why it's white there will be plenty of reading material to be found on Mars which explains that, on the other side of the gate you will receive further instructions. You may begin to move as soon as you feel comfortable. On one last note I know we promised that anything which didn't fit through the gate would be moved to Mars as well so anyone who has something which didn't fit through the gate should come here and we'll arrange transportation for it."

After finishing her speech Elizabeth stepped down from the podium and as she did that a small group of people approached them, each wanting an item retrieved from their homes, while most of the people where happy with simply leaving their gate address and a description of the item there where a few which demanded that they should help them retrieve the item, to make sure that they got the right one. One of these people was the father of a sixteen year old girl named Zara, whom had lost her mother when she was five to the Wraith, in their village her father was the village priest, or as close to one as they had, and he wanted to bring a monument upon which the name of every man and woman whom had lost their life to the Wraith in their village was in scripted, the monument was meant to be raised towards the sky when their people got free from the Wraith and so he had decided that they would bring the monument to Mars and raise it there, so he left his daughter then and there.

Finding herself alone Zara chose to follow the instructions given to them, so she put all their stuff next to the podium and hurried inside the Tower, just as Elizabeth had said she found sleighs inside two rooms on either side of the corridor, from the piles which stood from the floor to the roof she took three sleighs before hurrying back to the podium with them.

When she returned she found that a small orb she had gotten from her mother was missing, but after some searching she found it to have rolled down a slope, so with all her belongings on the sleighs and safely secured using a forcefield she grabbed the first of the sleighs and begun to pull it behind her, to her surprise the sleigh didn't put up any resistance at all, it was like pulling air and when she looked back to make sure that the sleigh was still packed she found that the rest of the sleighs had positioned themselves after the first and was following it around.

Happy with the fact that she only needed to make one trip and not three she returned to the Tower with the sleighs and followed the green light which ran along the floor, she came across several corridors but the light in them was red so she refrained from going there and instead continued down the path until she reached the gate room, but first she had to wait in line for the ones which had gotten there ahead of her to go through.

While Zara was doing this her father had been taken aboard the Triton which was now speeding along through hyperspace to their homeworld after having already picked up a few odd things. When they arrived at their destination he and a sergeant was beamed down to the planet where they tagged the monument, but before they could beam back to the ship they where beamed to another village where another monument could be found, as it was the monument in their village had been part of a larger monument from an era when their civilisation built great things, but when the Wraith attacked it had been destroyed and the villages had split the pieces between them to keep them safe, some of the villages they visited had been abandoned for hundreds of years if the condition of the houses was anything to go by, but after two hours they where done on the planet and where beamed up to the ship before it jumped into hyperspace.

When they dropped out of hyperspace again they where faced with an active supergate since their ship was the last to arrive, but instead of changing course the ship continued towards the gate and at the same time an alert rang out telling the crew to prepare for a gate jump, seconds later the ship went through the gate, but the asteroid belt they expected was nowhere to be found.

Instead they where faced with the rear end of four Ori warships who where in battle with two other warships. On the bridge of the rebuilt carrier ship the captain begun to bark orders and just as one of the Ori beams was about to hit the ship it jumped away into hyperspace.

"Get me a channel to the SGC." The captain ordered and a second later a young man in SGC uniform appeared on the front window.

"This is SGC command centre." The man on the screen said.

"This is the Triton. We require assistance, we where scheduled to transport personal effects from Pegasus to Mars but there's been some complications." The captain reported.

"I'm well aware of your mission as well as you complications sir. There was an accident on the Falcon as it exited the supergate in the sol system, one of its engines exploded causing the wormhole to jump, we suspect that you exited the second Ori supergate." The man replied.

"That would explain why we just saw six Ori warships but not why they where battling with each other." The captain yelled at the man.

"The Ori are here sir?" The man asked in disbelief.

"Either that or we're not in the Milky Way. Now get me someone of rank." The captain ordered upon which he received a "Yes, sir." before he disappeared from the screen and half a minute later Sam appeared.

"What's your emergency captain?"

"We just encountered six Ori ships who fought with each other and we also appear to have some problems with our navigational computer, it fails to detect any known landmarks of either the Milky Way, Pegasus or any of the galaxies which Destiny has travelled through." The captain reported.

"Captain, enter access code three, eight, alpha, golf, seven, three, zero, hotel, four, eight, three, zero, victor, delta, x ray, three, nine, sierra, two, zero, three, eight." Sam ordered as she entered her own access code on her console and as soon as the captain had entered his a burst of data was sent.

"General what did you just do? The navigational computer has begun working again."

"Access to the galaxy you're in has been restricted due to the danger we know can be found there, but as of yet we've never had the chance to send an expedition there to learn what happened after the Ori where killed and the Ark of truth was used on the Priors. We locked out the entire galaxy from the navigational computer so that no one who gets their hands on one of our ships can take it there through hyperspace."

"General, are we in the Ori galaxy?" He said in disbelief.

"That is correct captain. I suggest that you find somewhere to hide from the Ori until we arrive with backup, alternatively you could try to scavenge a stargate and use it to dial the Milky Way so that civilian personnel can escape and so that we may send soldiers and engineers to keep the ship safe." Sam as she released a large number of nanites from a canister on the ship, they would repair the ship if needed as well as slowly adding extra hull plating to the ship over time as it absorbed space dust into the hull.

"Thank you general. I will keep the people here safe as long as you get me some backup." The captain said.

"Your backup will arrive within a few hours captain. I've also activated the nanite emergency system, it should give you an extra edge if you get cornered. SGC out." Sam said as she cut the channel and opened another to the Tower.

While all this was taking place Zara had gotten to the front of the queue and had stepped through with her sleighs following closely behind. On the other side of the gate a middle age man wearing white uniform greeted her and asked for her name and her homeplanet, he the led her through the gate room, which was around the size of a large airport terminal, to a transport pad along a wall, there he told her to leave her baggage and promised that he would deliver her baggage to her apartment personally, he also gave her a small flat stone circle. Trusting him not to take to much from her she stepped onto the pad and was transported away, in the gate room the man put the sleighs on the pad one at a time and entered a code which sent them away, he then stepped up on it and transported away himself.

He arrived on the square Zara's people would share with a few other civilisations and moved the sleighs to her apartment. Zara on the other hand arrived in a room which was all white, in the corner a bed was sitting and along the other walls several cabins contained bottles and vials.

"Hello Zara." A young woman, maybe a year older than Zara, two maximum, said as she entered the room from a door at the far end of the room. "I'm the nurse who will be examining you before you can enter the colony."

"Why do I have to be examined before I enter the colony?" Zara asked sceptically.

"It's all standard procedure to make sure that you don't carry any diseases which may prove fatal to other people or yourself in the new climate or atmosphere. We'll also be giving you an implant so that you can interact with our technology, had it not been for that chip you wouldn't have been able to come here. Lastly we will give you a vaccine against most of Earth's diseases which can spread here as well as make a check of your DNA so that there's nothing there which may become an inconvenience for you later in life." The nurse said as she took the stone from Zara and threw it into a bowl with a few dozen other identical stones, in truth the stone was an Ancient neural interface which would record both physical and psychical things needed for a colony identification implant, it also sent a signal which would activate a transport pad and set the destination as one of these examination rooms.

"I did not understand half of what you said." Zara replied as her brain failed to understand the words climate, atmosphere, implant, chip, vaccine and DNA.

"Well it means that we try to keep the colony free of diseases even if they won't spread to anyone else but you and to use the same kind of pad as the one you just arrived on you need a machine which we will put beneath your skin so that you don't have to carry it around or keep track of it, it will also allow you to use other technology which you will find in the colony and if you fall ill we can find you with its help." The nurse explained as she brought a tray with an implant, a vial of the vaccine and an injector, but before touching them she guided Zara to the bed.

"Now that was an explanation which I can understand. Thank you." Zara said as she lay down on the bed.

"Sorry, we Tollans haven't been doing this for long. You're in the first move of the first phase so I haven't done this more than thirty times before." The nurse excused herself as she pressed a few buttons on her wrist and a hologram was projected in the middle of the room, the hologram was an exact representation of Zara's body, after a second it split into several holograms which each showed a layer of her body, skin, muscles, skeletons, nervous system, internal organs, DNA etc. A few of the holograms showed a some red circles around areas that was not the way they where suppose to be on a totally health human.

"I thought you where called the Tau'ri or the Lanteans, I've never heard of the name Tollan before." Zara said as the nurse begun to examine the red circles on by one.

"That's the humans of Earth, they're called the Tau'ri by most and it's the term used if you mean them, if you use the term Lantean they'll think you meant the Ancients who inhabited Atlantis before them."

"So your not a Tau'ri yourself?" Zara asked surprised, maybe they weren't as good as everyone claimed, maybe they took people into their colonies and forced them to work for them her brain begun to think.

"No, as I said I'm a Tollan, we're from a planet called Tollana which was ruined by a now exterminated enemy, but the Tau'ri arrived, drove away the invaders and took us in as if we where their own flesh and blood, they gave us food, shelter, occupation and anything else we needed, but when people from Pegasus wanted to seek refugee with them there was little space left on their world so they begun the most ambitious colonising project our people has ever heard about, they moved an entire planet, gave it atmosphere and life before building this colony here, now this planet is almost identical to Earth in every way except how the continents looks." The nurse said as she zoomed in on one of the red circles but she then zoomed out again as it was nothing that required her attention.

"So why are you here then if you lived on Earth?" Zara asked as she felt some of the doubt slip away.

"Well the Tau'ri have only been moving through the stars for a few years and this is technically their first colony, but the Tollans have been building colonies for several years, so they came and asked us for help with managing it." The nurse explained as she pushed away the holograms and signed of Zara's bodily condition holographic.

"Wow, so they entrust it to you to make sure everything is running smoothly?" Zara said as the nurse took the injector and inserted the capsule with the implant.

"Yes, but everyone will be given the chance to work for them in time, even you who come from an entirely different galaxy will be given the chance to do what you want in time, you simply need to study their history, their culture and several other things, there's going to be a school in the city in a week where you can study and when you turn eighteen you can sign up for a job on Earth if you want, even within the SGC." The nurse said as she turned over Zara on her stomach and pulled down the collar of her top before injecting the implant between the right shoulder blade and the spine, that was where the women got their implant while the males got it between the left should blade and the spine, this allowed them to at least determine sex if the body was beyond recognition and the implant had failed, the implant would also fuse to the spine to send information to the brain, creating virtual menus as well as responding to thoughts. The same implant had been given to any humans on Earth who accepted it as well as everyone working within the SGC.

"Do you mind showing me to this school when it opens?" Zara asked as the nurse removed the empty capsule from the injector and replaced it with the vial.

"Of course not, I'll be going to the same school myself." The nurse said as she injected the vial into Zara's neck.

"Ouch, that hurts." Zara said as she felt the vial empty its content into her blood.

"Yes, it does and over the coming days you might feel a bit nauseous, but that's a

sign that it's working." The nurse said as she discarded both the vial and the capsule, the injector would be used again later.

"Well that's assuring." Zara said as she immediately felt what the nurse was talking about.

"Well we're done here I think. I'll pick you up in a week right before school starts." The nurse said as she helped Zara up from the bed.

"That sounds great, what was your name by the way?" Zara asked as she approached the transport pad.

"It's Hollie." She answered just before Zara stepped onto the pad.

"Well then Hollie. I'll see you around." Zara said as the pad powered up, but nothing happened after that.

"Think home and it will take you as close to home as possible, the implant will help you the rest of the way. One last thing, you'll find information about this examination in your implant too if you want to plan a procedure for any of the minor things the scan found, there was nothing worth noting, but you might think differently." Hollie said and a second later Zara disappeared from the room.

As soon as Zara had left Hollie restored the room to previous condition and a few minutes later another person entered, an old man who was bent over a stick, after a first look she already knew that she would be sending him to one of the doctors after injecting the vaccine and the implant, she wouldn't even do a scan before sending him to the doctor to get that back fixed.

After leaving Hollie Zara had arrived at a busy square where people where running back and forth, at first she was a bit confused about where she should go, but she thought home and she saw as a small green line was superimposed over her sight, taking the hint she followed the line until she reached a house, there she found a door which opened as she approached it, inside the door an elevator could be found and as she stepped inside the doors begun to close, as soon as they closed it took of, within seconds she found herself on the tenth floor and the left side of the elevator opened up to reveal her apartment, inside the baggage she had brought was placed along the walls and as soon as she stepped inside her implant brought up the manual for the most basic things inside the apartment, thankfully a hot meal was waiting in the kitchen so she sat down to eat while she read through the manual, she didn't bother to try to find her dad, on her way to the apartment she had gotten a message which told her that the ship he was on had gotten delayed.

Just as Zara had arrived in the square Sheppard had gotten a message from Sam, so he had to leave the envoys which had just arrived in the care of Elizabeth and Daniel.

"Hello Sam. What can I do for you?" Sheppard said as he accepted Sam's call while he walked away from the group.

"I'll keep this short. There's a slight problem with the Triton and the Falcon, the engines of the later exploded as it left the supergate, resulting in a wormhole jump which made the Triton accidentally ended up in the Ori galaxy, there appears to be some commotion over there so we need to send a fleet to secure the gate on the other side long enough for the Triton to return." Sam said in a hurry.

"That's Ellis and Caldwell's division."

"Yes, but they're both busy trying to clear up the mess here with the Falcon, parts of the engine and asteroids are still blocking the supergate, at the moment you have the fleet with the best chance of getting there before anything happens to the Triton, you'll have to use the Ori supergate at the edge of the Milky Way to return and from there you'll have to jump through hyperspace to Earth, by the time you get here we should have the gate operational again so you can get home that way." Sam explained.

"I'm on my way, we'll be there asap." Sheppard said before he closed the channel and sent out the order of all hands on deck, he then pressed a few more buttons and was beamed up to the Reaper. "All right ladies." He said as the skeleton crew on the bridge was supplemented by additional crew members and he was unlocking the Ori galaxy in the navigational computers of his fleet. "We've got a ship which has been lost in what might be enemy territory, we are to secure the extraction point for that ship." With those words he sat down in the control chair and dialled up the gate, as soon as all ships reported in he angled the ship towards the gate and the entire fleet passed through the gate into the Ori galaxy.

On the other side of the gate they found nothing at all, no ships and no debris, only empty space, not feeling like attracting any unwanted attention they simply spread out around the gate while Sheppard sent the all clear to the Triton, half an hour later the ship came out of hyperspace and as soon as it did that the gate begun to dial, when the wormhole had been established part of the fleet moved through closely followed by the Triton and the rest of the fleet, the only evidence they left behind was a small sensory package which would relay any data collected to the SGC through subspace which meant that they now had a live feed from the gate in case they ever wanted to go back there.

As soon as the entire fleet had gotten through the gate it jumped into hyperspace, the gate closing the moment everyone was through, some time later they arrived in orbit around Mars and the cargo of the Triton was beamed down an hour after the repairs on the supergate was finished and the fleet could return to Pegasus while the Falcon was moved to the lower levels of Atlantis for repairs.

A few weeks after the incident with the Triton the Coalition's envoys meet up with Daniel and Elizabeth in a conference room.

"Hello Ladon." Elizabeth said as the former entered the room along with his colleagues

"Hello Elizabeth, Daniel." Ladon said as he took a seat around the table.

"So have you made a decision yet?" Daniel asked.

"We will not be forced to live within the confines of your walls." A man stood up and shouted, half a second later he was on the floor with a sock in his mouth.

"As you can see there has been a few disagreements within our group, but we've come to the conclusion that every planet can chose if they want to go or not." A woman said as she pressed down the man's face into the floor with her boot.

"We expect most of the planets to accept the offer, the Genii included." Ladon said as the man was escorted out of the room.

"We're happy to hear that Ladon." Elizabeth said.

"Yes, but I hope that you do realize that the Genii will require a city far larger than this one for ourselves."

"We do and we will have it built as soon as possible." Daniel said before a call appeared on the screen of his FMC.

"We must return to the Coalition of Planets as soon as possible, so we must pack our things now." The woman said as the envoys of the Coalition got up and left the room, their departure had already been planed so no further arrangements where needed.

"What is it Teal'c?" Daniel asked as he answered the call.

"I have just retired from a meeting with the Jaffa council, they which to discus something with you." Teal'c replied.

"Me specifically or just the Tau'ri?"

"Just the Tau'ri, but I believe that it might be best if both you and Dr Weir came."

"Uh, sure, we'll get there as soon as possible." Daniel said before closing the call and motioning for the door. "Lets see what's urgent enough that the Jaffa asked Teal'c to send us a message."

"Well something is clearly up before they ask us to arrive at a council meeting." Elizabeth said as they headed out to get their armours before heading to the gate room.

"Yes, a cloaked jumper might be useful." Daniel said in agreement as he made the arangements.

In the gate room they meet the second move of the first phase, but thanks to the Tollans logistic they still managed to make it to the green gate which was waiting for them, on the other side of the gate they stepped over to the red gate and where whisked away to the new capital of the free Jaffa nation, there Teal'c was waiting for them and quickly took them to the tent where the meeting was taking place.

"Welcome." A Jaffa with grey hair said.

"Thank you, do you mind telling us why we're here?" Elizabeth said in her most diplomatic voice.

"These last years have been hard years for the Jaffa but when the Lucian alliance attacked us things got worse, by now there's no more than a few hundred thousand Jaffa left, we can no longer sustain ourself as most of our farmers have died from diseases."

"So you want our help? I'm sure we can come to some sort of trade arrangement." Daniel said.

"Yes we want your help but we don't have anything to trade with, what little we have is required to keep ourselves alive. But we've heard from civilisations of a great migration to a colony which you are responsible for creating, in exchange for the opportunity to move there we offer our services as soldiers."

"Well this is a bit sudden, at the moment there's only so many places in the colony." Elizabeth said

"We understand and we would be happy if even just a small part of the Jaffa could be relocated to the colony."

"We'll see what we can do to help you." Daniel said.

"That is all we ask." The man said humbly before bowing and sitting down.

"I suspect that some of you will want to inspect the colony before you chose to migrate there, we could take a dozen or two with us there now." Elizabeth offered.

"But there will probably be some hostility towards you if you come wearing the marks of the Goa'uld, but using some of our medical technology we should be able to remove both the mark and the pouch which is no longer needed." Daniel said.

"I will go." A young woman said, the first woman on the council, hoping to show some bravery, but no one else liked the thought of losing their mark, they whore it with pride, as a trophy, from having killed the false gods who had used the marks.

"I will go too then if you cowards are to afraid to do it." The old man said as he stood up and walked over to Daniel and Elizabeth. "You claim to be free Jaffa but you fear the thought of losing a mark which was given to you by your false gods and a pouch which is no longer needed by us, you sicken me." Hearing these words many of the Jaffa around the table moved in their seats but no one said a single word, while everyone knew what the man had said was true only two people had the courage to show it as they followed the old man.

"We'll return them in a few weeks." Daniel promised as he and Elizabeth lead the way back to the gate where they dialled Atlantis, there they made their way to infirmary where a doctor used some nanites to restore the four Jaffa, first the mark on their forehead sunk away into their skin before the pouch was sealed and their immune system restored, they would now look like any other human, unfortunately their extremely long life span and healing had been removed, but the nanites had stored how they had been before and everything could be restored to how it was before without to much work.

When the cosmetic side was finished the four Jaffa where sent through the gate to Mars where they would be proceeded just like everyone else.

The next day the SGC council had a meeting in the conference room of Atlantis, while most things where handled as they happened between the divisions it concerned a formal meeting happened once every month so that things which concerned large parts of the SGC could be discussed.

This time much time was spent on discussions around the workings of the Colony as it had been named until the council could agree on a better name, but when that was done one last thing was on the agenda, the Ori.

"As you all know by now there was an accident involving the Triton and the Falcon some time ago and the Triton ended up in the Ori galaxy, during the time it was there it managed to come upon six Ori warships which where battling each other just on the other side of the supergate, the fleet division proposes that we send a portion of our fleet there to examine the situation." Caldwell said.

"Sending an entire fleet might provoke the inhabitants of that galaxy to open fire." Elizabeth said.

"I agree with Dr. Weir, sending a fleet will surely provoke them." Teal'c said.

"Then what choice do we have?" Ellis asked.

"We should be able to install a cloak on one of the ship, it could allow a single ship to slip through the enemy lines and contact the more friendly locals." Sheppard answered.

"Hey, you don't know that and it won't be you who have to do it." McKay complained.

"Rodney, we managed to cloak Atlantis, a single ship should be no problem." Zelenka intervened.

"I might have a better idea, I've been working on a hyperdrive which can cloak a ship both in hyperspace and in normal space, if we can get it to work we could send a single ship which would never be detected or we might be able to disguise the ship as one of their own while it's in hyperspace." Sam explained.

"That's a big if Sam." McKay complained.

"I've actually managed to cloak the hyperdrive itself, but so far it's never been tested while installed on a ship." Sam said.

"I propose a vote to decide that all personnel from the science division is to be available to Sam so that she can get this new hyperdrive working, all in favour raise your hand." Sheppard called out across the room, calling for a vote was the way they got decisions made these days, after a few seconds everyone but Ellis, Caldwell and McKay had raised their hands.

"Come on Radek, not you too?" McKay complained.

"Sorry Rodney, but that hyperdrive is the best chance of finding out what is happening in the Ori galaxy." Was Zelenka's simple answer.

"We'll get on it right away, who do you need?" McKay asked a bit tired.

"A few engineers and you two." Sam simply said.

"I'll gather up the best engineers we have as soon as we're done here." McKay said.

"Good then you can go now unless anyone wants to vote on the crew who goes on the mission or has anything else to say." Sam said as she stood up, indicating that the meeting was over no matter what the others thought, a second later she was beamed to the building room and the rest of the council was similarly transported away to their own posts.

The End.

Well, what do you think? Is this free flow thing something worth continuing on or should it go back to the old way?
