Bella's POV

So, something big happened last night.

Yeah, you guessed it. After the party ended and everyone went to bed, Demetri and I took our relationship to the next level. Yep, I lost my virginity. I don't regret it at all. I love him and I know he loves me. He's loyal, honest, caring, funny... and honestly I could have never imagined a chemistry so great. It was painful at first, even a little awkward, but it got better. Practice makes perfect, right?

The next day at school, Hannah's party was the hottest topic of discussion. Alec and Chala's reunion, Hannah's cars, Trey Songz, everything was whispered and gushed over that day. I have to admit, it did turn out to be the hottest Volturi bash of the year.

"Bella, why are you limping?" Felix asked me when we crossed paths in the hallway on our way to our last class of the day. My eyes widened immediately, and I knew I probably had the look of a deer caught in the headlights. I cursed my face for being so easy to read and stammered out the most unconvincing answer ever, "Um, no reason." I brushed past him with my face burning and continued across the campus to geometry. Demetri caught up with me before I reached the math and science building and grabbed my arm.

"Babe, you're limping? Are you okay? I'm so sorry." Demetri rushed, his face concerned and sorrowful.

"This is normal, Dem. A lot of girls have trouble walking after their first time. I enjoyed last night. It was perfect." I smiled reassuringly.

"You cried. I literally had to kiss tears off her cheeks." Demetri stated.

"So?" I retorted, rolling my eyes. "It hurts, Dem. It's not a big deal."

"We are not having sex anymore."

"What?" I complained. He was being so dramatic!

"Bella, you have hand-shaped bruises on your thighs," Demetri hissed, "And they are my fault! I'm too strong and you're too fragile. Losing your virginity may hurt a bit even with two humans, but bruises are not! I'm not going to risk hurting you anymore."

I knew there was no point in arguing with him while he was riled up like this, so I just huffed and went into the math and science building and rushed to catch up with Chala, Alec, Hannah, and Felix as they were about to head into the Geometry class we all shared.

I sat down at my desk and got out my textbook and notepad in preparation since the bell hadn't rang yet. The whole class was buzzing with talk of the party, of course. "I can't believe Hannah got those two expensive ass cars. They are so spoiled." I heard one girl say behind me quietly. Well, she thought she was being quiet.

"I can't believe Alec and Chala got back together. I was just sure one of us would finally get a shot at one of the Volturi." another girl said, not so quietly. These people were getting bold.

Alec rolled his eyes, leaned over to Chala, who was sitting beside him, and kissed her right on the lips, long and hard. You could tell it caught Chala off guard and I giggled. The class fell completely silent, which caused the teacher to turn away from her laptop where she was setting up the lesson. She spotted Alec and Chala and cleared her throat loudly. They broke apart and Chala's cheeks deepened in color while Alec smirked unapologetically. Luckily, the rest of the class went by with no more annoying gossip from our classmates. We all piled in the SUV to go home and eat and change for practice. World Competitions were in 2 weeks, so we're all focusing and practicing harder than ever. This is the make it or break if competition of the year and the Royal 6 is determined to outshine everyone else in the competition yet again.

"5...6...7...8!" Chala counted off as she pushed play on the remote. Our Jaguar theme song began to play and we started our routine while the couch watched. They tossed me high in the air, I did my stunt, and landed safely in Marco's arms. I danced hard and gave it all I could in our 8 minute routine. We danced to bachata music, Italian folk music and Italian pop music, and some American pop music. We incorporated everything possible, while also keeping everything clean cut and seamless. At the very end we did our Jaguar cheer:

"LDV's the best in the nation!

Stand up and cheer for that Jaguar sensation!

Watch out for us Jaguars, you're in our habitat.

You better step back, we're here to attack!

Attack! Attack! Jaguars, attack!"

We ended in our poses and our loud in sync signature Jaguar growl.

Our couch clapped enthusiastically. "That was awesome!" she exclaimed.

"Really?" Chala asked, "Did anyone mess up?"

"Nope! Everyone was beyond perfect. We've got this trophy in the bag!" she said. We erupted in cheers and high fived each other.

"Okay everyone, 10 minute break and then we're gonna run it one more time. Then I'll let you go. Good job!" Chala smiled. I went to get some water and had Tori stretch me out some more. then we ran the routine through once more. Chala let us go, I ran to guzzle some more water, changed for Volleyball and ran across the huge gymnasium to the wing.

"Sorry Hannah." I huffed. What was I thinking when I signed up for more than one sport captained by the most athletic and driven athletes in school, Chala and Hannah Volturi?

Hannah waved off my apology this time and I joined the team in warming up. Then we stretched and practiced hard. I was outside hitter so my right arm was worn out. After practice all I wanted to do was go back to the castle and pass out in my room, but Hannah had a thirty minute basketball drill to oversee, Alec wasn't finished with football practice, and Felix was done with basketball practice but now had some final things to talk over with the baseball couch about Competitions. The only one done was Demetri so we headed to the Royal 6 building, which we hadn't visited often since Aro declared it no longer our living quarters, and he cooked me something to eat. The building had a sad, lonely air to it. We only used it to shower, eat, and study during the school days and practices, and for our free period. Our guard had been laid off by Aro, since we barely used the building anymore. I missed his cheerful smile.

We were making small talk about how we all shouldn't have tried to take on so many responsibilities this year, but being alone with Demetri had me thinking of other things, and I couldn't help but be a little less talkative than usual.

We were quiet for a little while as Demetri finished cooking the spaghetti he had hastily prepared. He sat it in front of me, looked at me with concern, and kissed me on the forehead. "Bella, you know I love you right?" he asked.

I nodded and started eating. Then I excused myself to go upstairs and use the restroom. When I went into my cold, vacant bedroom to grab some notes I left on my desk the week before, Demetri was there sitting on the bed.

He patted the space beside him and my mind went straight to the gutter. I immediately joined him.

"What's wrong with you, babe?" he questioned.

"I want you to make love to me again." I said softly, nuzzling my face into his neck.

He immediately but gently pushed me away. "No baby, it's too risky." I looked down and sighed. He lifted my chin and kissed me softly on the lips. I took this is an opportunity to pull him in and kiss him passionately, hoping to ignite the fire I felt inside of him. But he knew what I was trying to do and gently detached himself from me.

"Dem, I'm not hurt. Just a little sore," I protested in frustration. "I love you and I know you love me, and I want you to loosen up. I'm fine!" I looked him in his eyes and made my expression as unyielding as possible. He looked back at me for a long moment, his gaze searching mine.

"Okay. After you can walk without limping again, we'll try again." he smirked. I broke into a huge smile. I knew he'd come around.

"I love you, Dem." I said.

"I love you too, Beautiful." he replied with a smile, kissing me sweetly.

"Come on, the others are probably finished or wrapping it up by now. Let's go home." Demetri said, picking me up off the bed in a rush which made me squeal, and running me out to the front of the building with blinding speed.
