Hey guys!
I'm so sorry for the long wait. I hope this long chapter will make up for it!
Also! I'm guessing you guy have already read Naruto chapter 700, (and if you haven't, got read it!) I've decided that I'm prolly gonna make a fanfic about Salada and Bolt, cuz I've always been rooting for NaruSaku. So let me guys know what you think!

Chapter 5

"Sayuri! Breakfast is ready!"

I jolted up in a sitting position and groaned.

What a way to wake up in the morning.

I pulled the covers off my body and got out of bed. I walked tiredly to my door and opened it, walking into the hallway.

I slowly made my way towards the kitchen, inhaling the scent of bacon and eggs.

I peaked through the archway of the kitchen.

I smile at the sight before me.

I see mom, standing in front of the stove, humming a tune as she placed food onto a platter.
And then I look over at dad, who's sipping his coffee while writing things down on a piece of paper.

I made my way towards the dining table and sat in one of the chairs across from dad.

"Good morning dad." I said.

Dad looked up from the paper I front of him, and smiled at me. "Morning sweetie. How did you sleep?"

Before I could speak, mom placed down the platter of food and handed me a cup of orange juice. She smiled at me as made her way towards tw chair beside dad.

"I slept good thanks, yourself?" I said, while taking a sip the orange juice.

He looked over at mom and then back at me grinning like a mad man. "I slept amazing."

Mom's cheeks turned a pink color and slapped dads arm.

I cringed of the thought of mom and dad in bed.

Gross.

Mom cleared her throat and started making her plate. Father and I followed suit.

"Are you ready for today?" Mom said.

I nodded, nibbling on a piece of bacon.

"What's happening today?"

Dad looked between mom and I, completely confused.

Mom smiled in glee, "Sayuri is meeting her new teammates today."

Dad's eyes widen. "You're already a genin?!"

I nodded. "Yeah."

He smiled sadly. "I missed so much. My baby girl is already a genin. Don't worry, I'll make it up to you when we travel for your training!"

I furrowed my brows. "What do you mean?"

Mom and dad looked at each other then at me. Mom spoke first.

"Your father and I had agreed it would be good for you to go train with your father."

I frowned. "But, we just moved here. And now I have to leave again?"

Mom sighed. "Honey, it would be good for you to form a bond with your father. This way you can get stronger and for fill your dream."

"It will be awhile before we leave. I have some unfinished busniess to do here first. So don't worry." Dad intervened.

I nodded and continued eating my breakfast.

After breakfast, I headed to my room and put on my regular everyday wear: an orange kimonos like dress over a pair of black spandex shorts with ankle-length sandals.

I smiled in the mirror, fixing the black ribbon, that was around my brunette hair like a headband. I looked over at the necklace Rin gave me. I picked it up and put it around my neck. Nice final touch.

I walked out of the house and headed towards the Kazekage's building.

I was greeted by two Sunagakure's ninjas that guarded the door to the Kazekage's office.

They opened the door and motioned for me to come in.

When I walked in, I glanced at the sight in front of me.

A tall man with light blond hair and green eyes,wearing a jounin outfit that wore Suna's headband around his forehead.

A young boy with light brown hair with purple like eyes, wearing sand-like clothes that wore a hat-like headband over his shoulder length hair.

And then lastly it was Hana, the girl I met yesterday.

I smiled at her, when she waved at me.

"You must be Sayuri, Jiraiya and Ume's brat." A voice spoke from behind the three people in front of the desk.

It was the Third Kazekage.

"Yes I am, sir." I spoke, somehow feeling nervous.

The young Kazekage looked up from his work on his desks and looked directly at me.

He had short red hair and dark brown eyes that would draw you into a dark abyss.

"This will be your new teammates until you reach a higher level in ranking." He said, while pointing a finger at the three people beside me.

I turned around and nodded to my teammates.

The Kazekage sighed and ushered us to leave. "That will be all for now."

We all exited the room and headed out of the building.

Hana ran over to me and have me a bone crushing hug. "I'm so glad you're on my team!" She said, pulling away.

I laughed. "Me too. I hope we can become best friend."

She grinned and pointed to the young boy beside her.

"This is Yashumaru-kun!"

The young boy looked up and gave me a charming smile, placing his hand out in front of him.

"Nice to meet you, Sayuri-San" his soft yet deep voice spoke out. I smiled and shook his hand with my own. "You too"

Some cleared their throat, catching all three of our attentions. I looked over to see our sensi.

"I'm Loki, your new sensei. It's nice to meet you Sayuri." He said smiling.

I smiled back and nodded. "You too."

He pulled out a piece of paper from his pouch and scanned over it.

"Now that we know eachother, we should get started on our first mission."

Hana, Yashamaru, and I glanced at eachother before looking at Loki-sensei.

"What's the mission?"

"Get back here you beast!" Hana spat, while chasing out mission target.

Yashamaru and I laughed, as we followed Hana.

We came to a dead end, with the target in front of us.

"No where for you to go now is there buddy?" Hana said, chuckling madly.

The target hissed at her, getting its claws ready for attack.

That's right, our target was a cat.

Hana slowly made her towards the car, getting ready to capture it.

The cat hissed again.

Hana lunged for the cat, capturing it before it ran away.
She looked over at us smiling.

"We finally got it!" She said, hugging the cat closer to her.

The cat didn't seem to like this, and started clawing Hana's face.

Yashamaru sighed, and made his way towards Hana and grabbed the cat before it made anymore scratches on Hana's terrified face.

I stood there, failing at keeping my laughs from slippig past my closed lips.

Maybe living here won't be as bad as I thought it would. I brought my hand up to the cherry blossom hanging from the chain and clutched it.

I missed Rin and Obito. But I know they would want me to be happy and not depressed.

"Sayuri-chan! Hurry up! We need to go send our report to the Kazekage!" Hana yelled, breaking me away from my thoughts.

"I'm coming!" I said, making my way towards my team.

After leaving the building, I headed home. I walked into the house, taking off my shoes and headed towards the living room.

"Mom, dad. I'm home!"

Silence.

Where could they be?

Suddenly I heard a crash from the kitchen. Full alert, I ran towards the noise.

I stopped as soon as I saw the scene in front of me. My eyes went wide.

There was mom, lying in her own blood on the verge of death.

"S-Sayuri, r-run." She choked out.

Before I could respond, I figure came walking towards me.

"Well well, what do we have here?" A deep voice spoke out.

I got into a fighting stance, getting ready to attack.

"She has the power we've been looking for. Lets take her before he arrives." A voice behind me spoke.

I spun around, clenching my hand, bringing my fisted hand towards the person, only to have it be stopped half way.

The man chuckled. "Not so fast, shortcake." Tightening his grip on my wrist.

I cursed. I was stuck. These guy were going to steal me away. I looked over at mom, who just lied silently on the floor. Tears built up in my eyes.
She was gone.

A painfilled groan snapped me out of my thoughts and the grip on my wrist was now gone.

"Sayuri! We need to leave now!"

It was dad.

He was standing in front of me.
I ran up to him and hugged him tightly.

"M-Mom..she's..."

He stroked my hair. "I know I know. But we need to leave, it's not safe here for you anymore."

Right before I was about to respond, I felt a slight pain on the back of my head.

"Go to sleep." Dad spoke softly, before picking me up bridal style.

I slowly closed my eyes, falling into darkness.
