A/n: Hello everyone. Now things are getting serious. Ganondorf killed Link's father. Ghirahim is Demise's prisoner, and the Twili's fused shadows are missing. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy and sorry for the long wait.

Pipit dug his heels into his horse's side. The mare whinnied a complaint but increased her pace. Her thundering hooves couldn't mask the sounds of Pipit weeping. He tightened his hold on the reigns. How could Ganondorf kill his father? No matter their differences they would never hurt each other. They said they were the best of friends. Pipit shook his head and screamed at the top of his lungs.

The white walls of Hylia's castle were of little comfort to him. The only thing that the young knight could think of is revenge for his father. He would make Ganondorf pay for what he did; no matter the cost. "Hey, Pipit," one of the guards shouted as the knight galloped past him. The brunette vaulted off the horse onto the stairs. He faltered a little, but ran up the stone steps.

He pushed the ornate doors open. He ran through the entrance and into the throne room. Hylia sat majestically on her golden throne. She was speaking with Link before hearing Pipit enter. She turned to him. "What happen?" Hylia asked clearly seeing the young knight's distress.

Pipit wiped his eyes, "Dad is dead." The statement was blunt, but he didn't know how else to word it. "Ganondorf killed him."

"Are you sure?" Link asked looking paler than normal as he held onto the armrest of the throne to keep himself upright.

Pipit just nodded his head and lowered his head to sob again. The silence that followed was deafening. "He will pay dearly for what he did," came a calm, but frightening response.

Midna watched as the soldiers on the walls scurried to and fro. Their shouts of panic and fear made her tighten the hold on her weapon. The Twili watched as the walls shook and braced herself as the ground shook. Soldiers flew off the walls landing with a rough crash. She didn't have to look at them to know that they were dead. "Princess," a tall Twili said putting his hand on her shoulder.

Midna looked up to him. "Speak swiftly," she commanded.

"The queen insists that you retreat to a safer location," the Twili said. Midna narrowed her eyes at the suggestion.

"I'll speak to her myself," the princess said as she stomped through the panicked crowd. Bodies pushed past her retreating as she made her way to the gatehouse. The princess could see the queen ordering archers and other soldiers to stop their retreat.

"Mother," she called out, but her voice was drowned out by the sound of tumbling stones. All the Twili stopped their movement and for a moment there was silence. This was quickly replace by the shrieks of Bokoblins. Midna turned to her mother for a moment as the older woman also turned to her.

"Run, Midna," the older Twili shouted. Midna almost gasped as she heard the fear in her mother's tune.

The look of fear in the older Twili's eyes made Midna take a step back before turning to run. She put her hands to her ears as she heard the shouts of her people as the bokoblins came pouring into the walls. The tall Twili from earlier ran to match step with his princess. "This way, my lady," he said pointing to a small armory that was beside the keep. Midna nodded and picked up her pace to reach the armory.

The girl opened the door and slammed it after her guide. The taller Twili started to push some of the cabinets to block the door. Midna helped as well trying to push some of the other furniture. "Now what?" Midna asked.

"There's a secret passage that would lead to outside the walls. I will keep them off your trail." The Twili pointed to the furthest corner. The sound of something slamming against the door made both Twili become silent. "Leave now Midna," the Twili said turning to the door.

Midna nodded her head too frightened to argue otherwise. She turned and ran to the corner where a small shelf. She pushed it aside to see a single miscolored brick. She put her hand to it and could hear more stones shifting. Midna looked to see a staircase leading down. She ran forward with one more glance at her protector. "Thank you," she said before stepping into the dark.

Ganondorf walked over tiredly to his horse. He stood there for a moment and sighed. He tried to think how he would explain Simeon's death. If Hylia knew what happened, she would exile him at best. Ganondorf pulled himself onto his horse. He took a deep breath in before he urged his horse forward.

He listened to the horse's hoof falls as he figured out what he would tell Hylia. He didn't hurry the beast and it calmly trotted through the forest. Ganondorf tightened his grip on the reigns as he passed the southern border. He passed fields of corn as they waved in the wind. In the far horizon, the white walls of Hylia's castle stood proudly.

The horse recognizing its home sped up. Ganondorf tightened his grip once again, but didn't slow the horse. He knew that he couldn't escape the inevitable. The walls grew larger and larger to the sound of running hoof-falls. They soon were engulfing the entire sky.

"Sir, Can I take your horse," a voice asked.

Ganondorf looked down to see a young boy. He nodded and dismounted. He watched as the child led the horse to the stables and made a note to run there if everything went wrong. He took a deep breath, straightened his armor, and walked confidently into the keep.

The red-head walked slowly to the throne room where undoubtedly Hylia was sitting on her throne. He could see her outline as he neared. There were two figures beside her. When he walked closer, he could see that they were Link and Pipit. He turned his gaze when he saw Link look away and refused to look at him. Pipit just glared as Ganondorf knelt in front of Hylia.

"You dare show your face here," Hylia spat, narrowing her sapphire eyes.

"I can explain," Ganondorf said quickly, wondering how she could already know of his deed.

"I bet you can," she said roughly, getting to her feet. Ganondorf tried to speak for himself trying not to shout in frustration. "Guards," Hylia called. The unseen soldiers in the corners of the room stepped forward trying to tackle the large man to the ground. Ganondorf went to the ground hoping that this position would cause his queen to listen.

"Your Highness," he begged, "allow me to explain." The woman turned up her nose and Ganondorf could see the tears in her eyes whether for him or Simeon he didn't know. "Pipit, tell her I could have never harm your father," he said to the knight hoping he could convince Hylia. The brunette just looked down his nose with a look of absolute hate. Ganondorf looked to the last of the trio. "Link," the single word a desperate plead. The red-head couldn't lose this position; he couldn't be executed or exiled. "Link," he repeated again. The blonde still didn't look at him, but just shook his head and ran out of the room.

"Ganondorf, you are to leave this kingdom. If your face is seen within our borders, your life would be forfeit," Hylia said nodding to the guards to pull him to his feet.

"Hylia," he tried once more almost shouting the name.

"Open your mouth one more time and I'll be sure that it doesn't open again," she hissed. The guards took this opportunity to drag the sorcerer away. He watched as Hylia's form grew smaller and smaller. As she shrunk in size, he anger grew. He was absolutely faithful to her. He gave everything to stand at her side. He fought for her, he killed for her, he did everything she ever asked of him and she didn't even give him a chance to defend himself. Ganondorf stared at the shrinking castle, his heart becoming bitter and hateful. Hylia would regret this decision and he would make sure of it.
