Chapter 9

"Anko..I thought we were going to the festival?! Not a night club!" I yelled out. The already drunk Anko just giggled in reply.

I sighed and made my way towards the bar and sat down on one of the stools. The bartender came up to me and flashed me a grin.

"What would you like, princess?" He said huskily.

I smiled at him and shook my head. "No drinking for me tonight. Sorry."

He frowned but nodded in understanding. "Okay, just let me know if you want something. It'll definitely be on the house." He winked at me, turning around and going to another customer.

I placed my elbows on the counter, laying my sad in the palms of my hands. This is going to be a fun night.

"Why is such a beautiful woman like you just sitting here by herself?" I heard someone say beside me. I turned my head to see who spoke.

It was Genma.

I rolled my eyes at his attempt to flirt. "I'm not surprised to see you here, Genma."

He grinned. "Sayuri! It is you! Nice to have you back here. I missed you." He gave me a kissy face. I laughed and punched his shoulder softly and muttered 'idiot'.

"So what are you doing here? This place doesn't look like your scene." He said, taking a gulp of his sak.

I jabbed my thumb in the direction of Anko, who was dry humping some poor guy on the dance floor. "She's the reason I'm here. She told me there was a festival tonight, which now I regret even trusting her."

He chuckled. "Yeah, you shouldn't have listened to her. She loves to party. I don't see how she isn't knocked up yet."

I laughed with him.

Even though I never knew Genma that much, I still watched him from a far. He was good looking for his age, I even had a crush on him back then. Genma noticed me staring at him, he smiled at me.

"Do you want to leave this place? I can take you home if you want." He said.

I bit my lip and stared at Anko. Part of me wanted to leave with Genma, but the other part of me didn't want to leave Anko.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Hey don't worry about her. She'll find a way home, trust me." Genma said, offering me his hand. I sighed and placed my hand in his.

"Let's go then." I said.

Genma and I made our way between the dancing crowd. We excited the club and headed towards the way to my apartment.

"You know, Sayuri. I'm kind of glad you came back. I never got a chance to chat with you and become friends. And I don't want to miss my opportunity now. So lets be friends." Genma said.

I smiled at him, placing my hands behind me as I walked. "Sure Genma. Lets be friends."

When we finally made it to my apartment, I bid my goodbye to Genma and opened the door.

It was oddly quiet.

Where was Kakashi? Maybe he went to sleep.

I pulled my shoes off and made my way down the hallway. I walked over to Kakashi's door and opened it, so that it was not cracked.

There was Kakashi, sleeping on his bedroll.i noticed that he had no blanket. I went to the hallway closet and grabbed one, heading back to guest room, placing the blanket over his body. I smiled as I glanced at his sleeping face. He looks so peaceful when sleeping. Like an angel.

As I was about to get up, I felt a warm hand grab ahold of my wrist. I looked down in surprise to see Kakashi looking at me with his one eye. I could see his eye become glassy. My eyes widen. He was crying.

"D-Don't leave yet. L-Lay with me for a bit." He choked out, tears starting to fall from his eye.

I frowned and nodded in understanding. I pulled the blanket up and made my way in beside him. I placed my hand on his cheek. "Don't worry, Kakashi. I'm here."

He closed his eyes, moving his head closer to my hand. I smiled and made myself comfortable on the bedroll.

I closed my eyes. Just a few minutes, just till he sleeps. Then I will leave. But after a few moments, I found myself getting more and more tired.

Kakashi's POV

I felt something wrapped around my neck. I opened my eye and looked down.

It was a 'something' it was Sayuri.

Her brown hair was surrounding her body, her petite arms were clinging to my neck. She looked beautiful. The way she cuddled against me, made me feel protective over her body.

Also made me feel a little happy down there if you know what I mean.

I slowly grabbed her hands tat were around my neck and gently took them off, placing then softly on the bedroll as I finally got out off the bed.

I left the room and headed to the bathroom, wherever it was.

I opened the door across from mine, gladly seeing that it was the bathroom. I went inside and walked over to the shower, turning it on.

I stripped off my dirty clothes, folding then and neatly placing them on the counter. I stepped into the shower, groaning at the warm water hitting my body.

"Ah~ So relaxing." I sighed in relief.

Sayuri's POV

I opened my eyes to see Kakashi gone. I sat up from the bed, removing my hair from my face. I heard the water running across the hall.

He's taking a shower.

I got up from the bed, fixing the sheets so that the bed looked nice and neat and then I headed out of the room and went into my own room.

I walked over to my closet and looked through it for men clothes for Kakashi. I skimmed through articles of clothing, picking out a pair of pants and a blue shirt.

I went into the hallway, walking towards the bathroom door, only to run into a wall.

I looked up, only to see not a wall but Kakashi.

A Kakashi with only a towel wrapped loosely around his hips. I gulped, staring at his six-pack abs.

"See something you like, Sayuri?" Kakashi said, with amusement in his voice.

My face got hot. I shoved the clothes into his chest, turning around and running to my room. I slammed my door shut, sighing in relief.

My heart is pounding so hard. I couldn't breath. Seeing Kakashi like that, made me feel butterflies. And these weren't the nervous ones either.

I bit my lip, sliding down the door to the floor. I closed my head and laid my head against the door. With him living here, I'll never survive.
