AN: Which brings me to my very humble and long overdue apology. I am so so so sorry for the extremely long delay in my writing. I just got a computer again and when you don't have one it makes it extremely hard to write and post stories. But I am posting this chapter. I am also in the works of updating the hardest part as well as my missing half. I don't know if I will continue my Lilian story it was a request and I don't have the notes for it anymore. I do have some other requests I am going to try to work on as well. I do have a job so I can't promise that I will be able to update regularly but I will do it as often as I can. Also if anyone has any ideas for any of my stories or any requests for any genre as long as I know the characters I will do my best to write it either review or PM me with ideas and requests I will credit any ideas to the person and credit the requests as well. Randy's POV 6pm his hotel room

Torrie and Jeff have been here for hours trying to help me get ready for my date with Ashley. I'm nervous as all hell. So many questions on my mind. How will she react? Can I make her like me? Can I even prove to her my feelings are genuine? All these and more run through my head while Terrie finishes checking my outfit for the 18th time.

"This won't be easy and its partly my fault but if your patient with my sister and can prove to her your feelings are genuine you'll be fine Randy" Torrie says somewhat unsure.

I sigh and run my hands over what little hair I keep on my head. "I can do this she's the one for me I know it." Torrie smiles "Go get her then."

Mickie and Ashley's room 6:30 Ashley's pov

"I can't believe your making me do this Mickie. I don't wanna go out with him or any other man for that matter." I say pissed off.

"Well I didn't wanna spend the day at the mall with kelly but I did for you so now for me, you are going to go on the this date and at least find out the truth about Randy's feelings. Now get dressed he'll be here soon." Mickie says getting annoyed.

Ashley rolls her eyes but got up and put on her favorite black cargo pants and a rolling stones t-shirt and her signature skull hat. "There happy."

Mickie rolled her eyes "Your impossible but whatever wear that but at least promise me you will at least try to enjoy your date Ashley. Give him a chance not everyone is like Jeff."

Ashley glares "That's not fair or funny. Jeff Hardy is the worst mistake I ever made and my no good sister is a bitch."

Mickie sighs "She's your sister Ashley, I know she messed up and I think so does she but are you really going to hate her forever and let that hate rule your world forever. She didn't do it on purpose and making up with her makes you the bigger person."

"Since when are you on her side Mickie. She stole my boyfriend my own sister took my boyfriend and helped him cheat on me. Why should I forgive he. Of all the people that I should have been worried about it should never have been her. She betrayed my trust and broke my heart. I am the bigger person I didn't kill her." I say getting upset.

"Your right sweetie and I am sorry I just don't like that your so alone and shes your family you know." Mickie says and hugs her.

I mumble into her shoulder "She used to be." As Ashley starts to calm down there is a knock at the door. "Do I have to go?" I ask trying one more time to get out of it.

"Yes now go have fun please." Mickie says and shoves her toward the door. "Evil women..." I say and open the door.

Date night No one's POV

Randy hands Ashley a black rose "This is for you."

Ashley takes it and smiles a little "This is my favorite flower how did you know?"

"Uh Lucky guess."Randy says silently thanking Torrie for the help. "Shall we go?" he asks offering her his arm.

"Uh yea I guess." Hands the rose to Mickie to put in some water and instead of taking his arm walks next to him." Randy walks her out to his 1970 hemi barracuda. Ashley stops dead

"Woah this is your car?" Ashley smiles

"Yea my brother lives here in town and I had him bring it over from the last time I visited."

Ashley smiles "Cool can I drive it?" Randy smiles "Maybe later I'll let you." Ashley nods and gets in. Randy drives to the beach. Ashley plays with the radio.

"So where we going anyway?" "You'll see" Parks at the beach and gets out and grabs some stuff out of the trunk. Ashley gets out looking around kind of skeptical.

"Why are we at the beach Orton its dark and no ones here." Randy smiles "That's the point were alone and its romantic."

Ashley raises an eyebrow "well that or no one will here me scream if were alone."

Randy sighs "Come on Ashley I am really trying this isn't a trick or a game I just wanted to try something different just give me a chance. If by the end of the date your not convinced I'll take you back to the hotel and leave you alone."

Ashley raises an eyebrow "All right Orton 1 hour after that you take me to the hotel and leave me alone and all my friends to."

Randy nods "Okay if I can't convince you then you go back to your room and I'll leave you alone." he says and shakes her hand. "But you do have to try, Ashley let me me show you this is different if you all ready don't want to see that or listen then its pointless to try."

Ashley rolls her eyes "Fine Randy I will keep an open mind but it is going to take a lot to convince me on top of your horrible reputation with divas I have my own issues with dating and I refuse to be used or taken advantage of ever again."

Randy nods "I know I understand and I know my reputation sucks but I promise if you give me a chance I will never be like him or my old self again." he says and lays out the blanket and sets up the picnic by the water but not close enough they will get wet and lights a fire.

"Want some wine?" "God yes thank you." Ashley takes it. Randy sits on the blanket with her. "Ashley I know that I've dome some messed up things over the years to most of your friends but I swear I want to change. I can't hardly eat, sleep or concentrate since you turned me down. Your beautiful and strong and amazing you bounced back from so many hardships, your everything I want and need to be a better person. I really meant it when I said I think I'm in love with you and I'll jump through as many hoops as you want me to to prove it. I just want to know you and be with you. Everything about you is perfect to me."

Ashley looks up at him as he hands her a sandwich. "Your serious aren't you? I can see it in your eyes. You actually mean what your saying?"

Randy nods "Every word, I don't really know how to have a real relationship but I want to try and learn with you."

Ashley takes a bite of her food trying to process what he said. "I um I don't really know how to have a relationship with anyone either my last one ended with my sister and him sleeping together I can't really say I am any better at them then you. I don't really know whats so special about me I am a pretty fucked up person and have been for a couple years even my friends see it. Why am I the one that makes you want to be different especially now Randy I have worked here for three years and you barely looked at me why now?"

Randy eats some of his food to. "I don't know I guess when I finally slowed down enough to notice the other people around me I found you someone I had been missing. You and me are a lot a like you have been messed up by love and I never really gave it a chance. Maybe we could learn from each other and be stronger for it. Your the most beautiful women I've ever met and not just in looks yes your absolutely amazing but I see whats on the inside to your different then the others and I find that difference in you to the most beautiful person I have ever met."

Ashley sips her wine and looks at him a little skeptical. "All right Orton, I'll make you a deal. Lets try to be friends first I don't really think either of us is quite ready to date and be in a real relationship yet. We can get to know each other and hang out first see if this will work. If while we try this you can not sleep with and hurt anyone else while we do this for the first lets say month then maybe we can date and try this relationship."

Randy smiles and hugs her. "Anything for you we can do that." Ashley nods and pulls away from him a little. "Okay so friends for now Mister Orton." sits there drinking some more of her wine. "OK Ashley slow down though that's like your fourth cup."

Ashley looks up at him. "So what...its so yummy lets go back to the hotel and play video games." Randy nods "Okay lets go."

Randy helps her up and packs up the picnic and heads back to the car. Opens the door for her and puts everything back in the trunk and starts to drive back to the hotel. Ashley falls asleep on the ride back. Randy doesn't care though he's closer then he was to getting his girl and couldn't be happier. He parks the car and carries Ashley up to her room and knocks.

Mickie opens the door and frowns. "What you do knock her out?" Randy shrugs "Drank to much can I come in?"

Mickie shakes her head "Yea sorry I forgot to tell you no alcohol or this would happen." Opens the door for him "Her bed is by the window."

Randy smiles "No worries Mickie everything went okay were going to try to be friends for right now and go from there." he carefully lays Ashley in her bed and covers her up.

Mickie smiles "That's great Randy I am glad that you guys are making progress." Randy leans down and kisses her cheek.

"I'll see you guys after the flight." starts to leave.

"Uh just to be warned Randy, Ashley is sitting with her sister on the flight to try to make up with her so she might not be in a good mood after it." Randy nods "I got it thanks for the heads up." leaves to his own room.

Next day at the airport No Ones pov

Ashley pays for her and Mickie's coffee and goes to sit with Mickie yawning. What seats are we in this time Mickie? She asks half awake.

Mickie looks at the tickets pretending she needs to. Uh well it looks like I am in 7B and you are in 28F. Ashley nods "Okay." Not understanding at first that there not sitting together.

"Wait what Mickie we always sit together what happened?" Mickie shrugs "Maybe the airline mixed up some seats its just one international flight we will fix it when we head back besides were still sharing a room its going to be fine."

Ashley nods "Yea your right I will probably sleep the whole time anyway." Mickie nods "Yea see its going to be fine." hands her her ticket. Ashley takes it and sighs as the plane calls for boarding. "I'll meet you at the luggage area Micks." Mickie nods "See ya then babe."
