Codex Entry:

UNSC Vehicles

UNSC Ground Vehicles:

M15 Puma Light Reconnaissance Vehicle: The successor to the tried and true M12 Warthog after being introduced in 2577. The Puma is similar in appearance to the Warthog although there are some notable differences. The armor has been improved, allowing a 65% higher survivability rate compared to the Warthog. The vehicle has been widened, allowing for much greater protection of the driver and passenger. The turret section has not changed much except for the emergency low-power hardlight shield that appears in the case that the turret's frontal armor has been neutralized.

The Puma's engine is approximately 35% more powerful than its predecessor. There multiple variants of this vehicle. They include a troop transport, an anti-tank Gauss cannon variant, a hover model of the Puma called the Cheetah and many more. The Cheetah variant is primarily used by the UNSC Airborne due to the fact that its anti-gravity system could be temporarily put on overdrive, allowing it to be dropped from high altitudes.

M855 Camel Spider Main Battle Tank: The Camel Spider, also called the Spider, was introduced in 2571 to replace the M808 model of tanks that were considered obsolete by then. The Camel Spider's design was based off of the Grizzly Heavy tank. Unlike its predecessors, The Spider is a hover tank. It floats on an anti-gravity cushion which allows for a lot more maneuverability and speed.

The Camel Spider's primary loadout consists of twin 100mm Gauss cannons along with co-axial mounted 20mm cannons. There are variants of the Camel Spider that come equipped with a 120mm railgun called "The Equalizer", and an experimental model with an Ion Cannon. The Camel Spider also has light shielding and a TROPHY missile protection system.

M50 Honey Badger Armored Personnel Carrier: The M50 is an APC loosely based off the old 21st century Pandur II APC. The M50 can carry up to 8 fully armed soldiers in addition to the driver and gunner. The M50 is designed with the safety of its occupants. It is mine resistant and has a missile defence system.

The M50 is armed with a 35mm Gauss cannon but can also be equipped with a high velocity 88mm mortar and an 80mm rocket launcher system.

M412 Grasshopper Hover Bike: The Grasshopper is a vehicle that can accommodate one driver and one passenger sitting behind him or her. It has a very high top speed and some variants are equipped with forward mounted auto cannons with limited angles of fire. Its appearance is similar to that of a 21st century sport bike.

AM7 Asimov Warframe: The AM7 is a Warframe, a 12.5 meter tall humanoid combat mech. It possesses fully functioning hand that allow it to perform a wide plethora of duties as well as carrying different types of weapons. The AM7 Asimov is the mainline Warframe of the UNSC, essentially serving as a multi-purpose high mobility armored combat unit. Each unit has a crew of one pilot to operate it as well as a dumb AI used for assisting the pilot. Unmanned versions of the Asimov exist and are controlled in large groups by a commander unit.

The AM7s primary weapon consists of a 40mm assault rifle which is more or less a Warframe sized version of the old MA5D assault rifle called the AG5. Other weapons include a 50mm handgun, an 80mm sniper rifle, a 100mm rocket launcher, a 6 foot long monomolecular knife and a 13 foot monomolecular sword.

The Asimov has shielding and can have thrusters mounted on is for extra mobility or space combat.

(A/N: If you want to know what I envision this thing to look like just look up the M9 Gernsback mecha from the anime Full Metal Panic. It looks like that just more futuristic and its weapons are just large Halo weapons.)

M6085 Mobile Command Vehicle: The MCV is a large vehicle that serves as a mobile command center. It is a hover vehicle and is quite fast for something of its size. The MCV isn't meant for offensive maneuvers but it has a heavy shield generator and an auto cannon for defending itself. It can usually accommodate up to 16 people.

Since it's not meant for combat, the MCV usually has its dedicated guard platoon.

M450 Alpaca Mobile artillery vehicle: A railgun artillery vehicle that uses the chassis of the Camel Spider.

M460 Buzzard Multiple Launch Rocket System: MLRS version of the M450.

UNSC Air Vehicles:

D81 Pelican Dropship: Unchanged aesthetically. Modernized with better armor, weapons, shields and power plant.

F58 Rapier Starfighter: Aesthetically the Rapier looks like Broadsword and a Longsword put together albeit much smaller than the Longsword.

Weapons include 30mm dual cannons and assorted loadouts for atmospheric and exo-atmospheric mission. Has shields. Stealth variant and ground attack variants are also available.

B120 Halberd Strategic Long Range Bomber: The Halberd looks like a more modernized version of the 21st century B1 Lancer. The Halberd's engines are capable of overdrive, allowing the craft to outrun enemy AA defences and strike its target. It is about 30% larger than its 21st century cousin.

AV90 Mosquito Gunship VTOL: The AV90 is a true tank hunter aircraft. It can silently hide behind buildings before starting up and taking out its targets in a matter of seconds. The AV90 is a modernized version of the old Hawk gunship.

F108 Sparrow Unmanned Aerial Vehicle: The Sparrow is a UAV that can be used for both recon and if retrofitted, fighter and attacker roles.
