Lilly's POV

It was around noon now and most of us were laying in the living room watching TV. Dakota and Crystal were out on a walk like he planned to do today and had been gone for a little over an hour now. She seemed rather excited to go, so they let us know they were going to the park and a little bit around town for a while.

Alexis and I were laying on the couch talking, mostly about what it's like to have a mate. I was more than happy to talk to her about it since I knew she wanted to find a nice boy now. She was definitely anxious to meet someone, but I reminded her she can't fall in love with the first guy she meets. She sorta turned it around on me though, saying Crystal and Dakota fell in love when they first met.

"Well, honey, that was a little different….It was really made to happen for them. I'm not saying it can't happen to you, but it's not very likely." I said, smiling a little. She was too and said "I know, but it still could. Didn't you fall in love with Grandpa pretty much as soon as you met?"

I giggled a bit and said "Not as soon as we met, no….But, soon after, I started to fall for him….It took me a little time to realize I was in love since I was still nearly a pup." She nodded and said "That makes sense….So, one more question….We don't really see any other wolves around here so….How would I meet someone?"

"Oh, don't worry, we know how. There's lots of people around here with wolves that come into the vet, so we know of quite a few you might take an interest in." I said, giggling again. She did too a little and said "Oh, okay….Can we, um….go over there?" She blushed a little when she asked that, which was understandable.

I was about to tell her we were going tomorrow when Cody came in and said "If you wanna come along, then you're more than welcome, Alexis!" We looked up at him and I asked "What do you mean? You don't work until tomorrow…." He nodded and said "I know, but Donna just called me a few minutes ago and asked me to come in and help inventory a bunch of stuff. She's there by herself right now."

"Oh, okay! Well, I suppose we should go then, right?" I asked, smiling at him. He nodded and turned to Chase, asking "You wanna come too, buddy?" Chase smiled and said "I'm okay, I'm gonna wait until Mom and Dad get back. I'll tell them where you guys went." Cody leaned over and rubbed his head, saying "Thanks, Chase. We'll be back within a couple hours."

He nodded and then Cody said "Well, let's get going then. Don't wanna keep her waiting." We got up and hopped off the couch, stretching a little before we all went out and Cody closed the door behind us. We went downstairs and out to the car, getting in and soon driving off to the vet. Alexis was sitting in the back seat, glancing around outside everywhere and shuffling her paws.

"Nervous about something?" I asked, smiling at her. She smiled a bit too and said "Kinda….I mean, just a little." I nodded and said "It's okay, just relax a little." She nodded and calmed down a little, but was still obviously nervous. I looked up at Cody and he just smiled at me, making me giggle a little. We drove on for a couple minutes until we pulled into the parking lot at the vet, only one other car that we knew was Donna's.

We got out and went inside to see a lot of boxes stacked up in the waiting room, at least ten or fifteen. "Donna?" Cody called out, looking around toward the back. She came out of one of the exam rooms and said "Oh, you're here! SO glad you could come help….I didn't know there was this much supplies coming in today!"

Cody chuckled and said "Hey, no worries….Just tell me where they go." She nodded and looked at Alexis and I, saying "Hi, girls! Decided to come along as well?" I smiled and said "Yeah, we figured it'd be a good excuse to get out for a bit. Anyone come in today?" She shook her head and said "Not yet. Kristen had to leave for a doctor's appointment, so I've been stuck here by myself since about ten."

"Oh, wow….What've you been doing?" Alexis asked, looking at all the boxes. Donna smiled a little and said "Trying to get some of this stuff put away….Oh, before I forget! You and Chase are nearly due for a checkup!" Alexis smiled and nodded, saying "Yep, we know! Mom and Dad aren't letting us forget…."

"Well, that's good. So, where are they anyway? I'd think they would've came along too if you're here, little girl." Donna said, giggling a bit. "They're out walking around town for a little while. Decided to start getting out more to exercise." I said, smiling.

"And Alexis there has her own reason for coming along…." Cody said, chuckling. "Oh, really? And what might that be, hmm?" Donna asked, leaning against the front desk counter. Alexis blushed a little and said "Well….I've been thinking about trying to find a mate…." Donna smiled and slowly nodded, saying "Okay. Mind if I ask why?"

"Mom and Dad were saying I'm at that time of my life….Makes sense." She said, smiling a bit too. "Is it something you actually want, or just to make your parents happy?" Donna asked, coming over and sitting in one of the chairs next to us. "I actually do want it. Mom and Dad'll be happy for me, which makes it even better." Alexis said, sitting down next to me.

"Alright then….We've got some files for wolves that could possibly want the same. Unfortunately, there's no pictures, so you'd actually have to meet them." Donna said, giggling a bit as did Alexis. "That's okay, I think. Any chance I could look at them?" Alexis asked, her tail swishing around a little. "No, we can't do that, honey. They're confidential files…." Donna said, weakly smiling.

"Oh, okay. So, what CAN we do then?" Alexis asked, her paws shuffling again. "Well….Depends on if you want to or not, but we can set up meetings with them. Most likely means you'd have to go to wherever they are, but some might be able to come." Donna said, making Alexis smile again.

"That sounds good with me! Could be kinda fun, too…." She said, giggling a bit. I smiled and said "We'll talk it over with your parents when we get home, but it sounds good to me, too." I looked up at Cody and he smiled as well, saying "Same here. If it's what you really want, then I'm sure they'll be happy for you."

"Tell you what, Alexis….I've got someone in mind right off the bat. His name's Garrett and he's a REALLY sweet boy! Doesn't live very far away and I'm sure he'd be thrilled to meet you!" Donna said, smiling at her again. Alexis quickly nodded and said "I'd love to meet him, too!" Donna nodded and said "I'll give them a call this evening and see what he thinks."

Dakota's POV

Crystal and I were having a nice walk for the last hour or so, just enjoying the day and talking the entire time. Mostly about Alexis, but also if Chase would want to find his mate as well. We're pretty sure he would, but we never actually asked him, only Alexis. She felt bad about that, but I assured her he probably wasn't worried about it.

"It's just not really fair we only took an interest in what Alexis wants, you know? He probably thinks we aren't worried about him." She said, weakly smiling. I smiled more and said "Babe, I know just as well as you do that he prefers to do things at his own pace….He'd let us know when he feels ready. If you want to, we can ask and see what he says."

She nodded and said "Let's do that. I just wanna know how he feels about the whole thing." I nodded too and we continued walking, soon finding ourselves in a part of town we'd never been. We looked around and I said "Huh, guess we wandered kinda far…." She giggled a bit and said "Seems so. What do you say we head on back home now?"

I smiled again and said "Good idea. We've been out for a couple hours now, I think." She smiled too and we turned around, walking off back toward home. "This was a really good idea, babe! Feels good to get out again." She said, nuzzling me. I returned it and said "It really was! I'm planning to do it at least a few times a week if you wanna keeping coming with me."

She quickly nodded and said "Definitely. I'm sure you've noticed I'm not quite as slender as I used to be." I chuckled and said "I have something else in mind to say, but you'd hit me for it…." She giggled and said "No, you can say it. I said it first, so I can't be mad at you." I shrugged and said "Alright then….You're right, not as slender anymore. However, you're still the same beautiful girl I fell in love with…."

"Aww….I love you…." She said, licking my cheek. I smiled and kissed her, saying "I love you too, babe….Still not gonna hit me?" She giggled again and said "Nope. Now, let me ask you something…." I nodded and she said "I got to thinking a little bit ago….If Alexis and Chase find their mates soon, would you wanna….have pups again?"

I was a little caught off guard, but in all honesty, I had been thinking the same thing. "Well, it kinda depends on if they're still living at home with us or not. According to Dad, the person that owns the apartment building won't allow it if they are." I said.

She nodded and said "I know, don't worry. Let's just say they decide to live with their mates instead of us. Not saying I want that to happen, but they'll probably wanna do that instead of staying at home." I smiled and said "In that case, then yes, I would. I miss when they were still just pups….If you wanna have pups again, then so do I."

Her tail started wagging like crazy and she let out a little shriek of happiness as she jumped around a bit, saying "Of course I do! Thank you, babe! I love you so much!" I deeply kissed her, making her purr and I said "I love you too, Crystal! We'll talk it over with Mom and Dad later on and see what they think, but I know they'll be thrilled."

She quickly nodded and said "So do I. You know what else will be really good when we finally get to?" I smiled and she giggled, saying "Feeling that big knot of yours while you fill me up….It's been way too long." I couldn't help but blush a little bit and I chuckled, saying "Not to mention your tight little cave trying to make me pass out…."

Now she blushed, but she giggled again and said "That too! Now I'm just gonna be constantly turned on until then…." I smiled again and said "Something wrong with that?" She smiled too and rolled her eyes, saying "Not to you, of course…." I chuckled and kissed her cheek, saying "Come on, let's get on home. I could use some water."

She nodded and we kept on walking, her tail still wagging behind her and hitting my leg. I smiled to myself and wrapped mine around hers, saying "There, that's better…." She smiled again and ducked her head under my chin, saying "It's much better…." I moved my head a bit and kissed the top of her nose as we walked, making her softly purr a little.

1 ½ Hours Later

"Finally…." I chuckled as we walked up to the apartment building. She giggled a little and said "I'm just gonna lay down and relax for a while….My legs hurt like hell…." I nodded and we walked inside, going up the stairs and to our door. I opened it and let her walk in first, receiving a kiss on the cheek that made me smile. I walked in behind her and closed the door, seeing Chase stretch out on the couch as I did.

"Hey, you guys are finally back…." He said, sounding sleepy. Crystal smiled at him and said "Yep, we are. Had a nice long walk….Just wake up or something?" He nodded and yawned, saying "Yeah, I guess I fell asleep for a bit….Oh, Grandma, Grandpa and Alexis are over at the vet." Crystal and I looked at each other and I asked "How come they're over there?"

Chase smiled a little and said "Well, Grandpa got called to help put stuff away, I think. Alexis decided to go with them and ask about a mate." Crystal giggled a little again and said "Oh, okay….And you didn't wanna go?" He shook his head and said "No, not really. I was fine here."

"Well, alright then. Guess we'll see them when they get home. Since we're on the subject, have you ever thought about a mate, buddy?" I asked, hopping up onto the couch next to him. He shrugged and said "I guess I have. Not a lot, though…." I nodded and asked "Think that might be something you want? I mean, we're not trying to force you, but we want you to be happy."

He smiled a bit and said "I know, Dad, honest. And yeah, I think it is something I'd want….Why, got someone in mind?" Crystal and I both laughed a little and she said "Well, no….But, same thing we told Alexis, the vet would be a good place to see about that. I'm sure there's a cute girl somewhere around here that would love to have a handsome boy like you in her life…."

Chase visibly blushed a little and said looked down at his paws, saying "Thanks, Mom….To be honest, I'd really love that!" Crystal giggled a bit and asked "Being around your sister in heat is bothering you too much, huh?" He nodded and said "WAY too much….I'm just glad she's comfortable sleeping next to me every night. I'll admit, I'd rather sleep out here most of the time…."

I chuckled and said "Yeah, I know how you feel, trust me. Your Aunt Lupa made me uncomfortable at times when she was in heat before." He smiled and said "I figured so. I'll think it over a little more and try and decide what I really want." Crystal kissed his cheek and "Good idea, honey. We're gonna go lay down for a little bit, okay?"

He nodded and Crystal hopped down off the couch, walking down the hall to our bedroom. "When everyone gets home, mind telling Grandma and Grandpa we'd like to talk to them?" He smiled again and said "Sure, Dad, I'll let them know." I chuckled and said "Alright, we'll see you later then." I hopped down as well and went down to the bedroom as well to see Crystal sitting laying in our bed, a bit of a smile on her face. I pushed the door nearly closed with my foot as she said "Well, guess what I just noticed…."

"What's that, love?" I asked, going over to her. She looked at Alexis and Chase's bed and said "Seems Alexis left a little spot on their bed and Chase found it. Looks like he couldn't help himself….His sperm's still kinda wet." I sighed and laid down next to her, saying "Well, you can't really blame him….It was the smell of a girl, but his hormones don't care who the girl was."

She nodded and said "I know, I'm not mad at him. Although we might wanna ask Cody if he'd mind washing their bedding after they get home." I smiled and said "Yeah, probably….Let's not worry about it right now. I'm too exhausted…." She giggled and cuddled against me, saying "So am I….That walk was a killer…." She nustled her head against my neck and I rested my chin on her head, saying "Comfy now?"

"Mm hm….Very…." She softly said, letting out a soft sigh. I put my foreleg over her and started slowly stroking her back, making her purr a little. "Mmmm….That feels so good…." She purred, wrapping her tail around mine. I kissed her head and said "I love you, babe…." She nuzzled my neck and said "I love you, too….I was thinking again…."

"About pups?" I asked, shifting around a little to get more comfortable against her. She nodded a bit and said "Yep. We both know we want to, so why don't we just do it? I'm ready to have pups again and I honestly don't care what the owner of the building says. What he doesn't know won't hurt him…." I lifted my head as did she and I asked "I thought we decided we'll wait a little bit?"

She smiled and said "No real need to wait….It won't be a couple months until they're born after all. More than enough time for Chase and Alexis to find a mate. Come on….What do you say?" I chuckled a little and said "I say I really want to, but-" She locked her lips onto mine, cutting me off with a passionate kiss. I was a bit surprised, but of course I went with it, kissing her back just as much.

We broke apart a few moments later and I said "Are you in heat?" She smiled and nodded, saying "Came into it yesterday. Been trying my best to hide it and seems to have worked so far." I smiled too and said "Then I'm in." She giggled and said "Good. Who knows how long it'll be until your parents and Alexis are home, so we're taking our time…."

I kissed her nose and her tail started slowly wagging, quickly spreading her scent of heat into the air. I took a deep breath and sighed, saying "You smell so fantastic….Like fresh roses on a warm summer day…." She locked her lips onto mine again as she got to her feet, moving over and gently laying on me. My wolfhood immediately started to emerge from my sheath, sliding out along her moist womanhood.
