Cody: Alright, new chapter, and it's not even midnight yet! We're all going out for some fun tonight, so we got this chapter done early this evening for you all to enjoy. One thing that's in it and has been requested quite a bit is a little more AlexisXChase action, so we did it. Gotta say, it turned out quite nicely! Two Weeks Later
It's been about….yeah, about two weeks now, just a little under that since Lilly's ultrasound and Dakota's seizure. Her stomach was filling out more and more by the day, but seemed to be slowing down a little now. Her hormones were really kicking in more, too! Friday night last week, they went at it for nearly five hours all night! She just couldn't get satisfied enough, it seemed. Of course, Cody wasn't complaining any, and who would expect him to?
Dakota didn't have any more seizures in that time, so they knew he just had to be careful from now on. Crystal's stomach was starting to get bigger now, but not a lot. She was getting moody from time to time, not to mention a lot hungrier, too. She had a mood swing yesterday that made Dakota fear for his life a little, she was so upset! After she calmed back down, he told her that and she felt even worse, but he assured her he knew it would happen and wasn't upset or anything.
Alexis and Chase have been doing really good as well, spending pretty much all day, everyday together. Even doing routine things like going to the park to bathe, they were right there beside each other. In fact, one time they went earlier in the week, she nearly got jumped by a couple dogs, but they never saw him over sniffing some bushes. They probably wished they had, though….He taught them a lesson pretty good! One of them was limping by the time he was done. Alexis had a couple small scratches on her leg and side, but nothing bad enough to worry about.
Today was Friday and it was nearly 5PM, almost time to go home for the day. Cody spent most of the day doing checkups and not much else, but he didn't mind, it was easy enough to do. Lilly was bored most of the day and even despite Cody saying she could go home if she wanted to have fun with the kids, she said she'd stay there until he got off work. Besides, it was getting hard enough to just walk down the stairs to the car in the morning, let alone walk nearly five miles back home. One downside to her stomach being so large is there was no real comfortable way to sleep in the dog bed behind the desk.
She groaned as she shifted around again for probably the thousandth time today, trying to find an even SLIGHTLY comfortable way to lay down. "Dammit….I just can't get comfy…." She groaned, laying down again. Cody weakly smiled and said "I can imagine….Wish we had something a bit bigger and thicker for you to sleep on." She smiled a little and said "It's fine, I can deal with it….When are we doing the ultrasound? Donna should be back soon, right?" Donna was out picking up the ultrasound machine from repairs and she'd said she would be back before they left, but it was nearly 5PM now.
"Well, she said she'd be back soon, but that was a couple hours ago….We'll stick around until she shows up." Cody said and Lilly nodded, laying her head down on her paws as she watched him type away on the computer. "Are we ever going to make a choice on those houses we found? Dakota's been asking why we're looking at them recently." Lilly asked, getting his attention. "I know, but it's kinda hard to choose from them….I mean, mostly all the ones we found are really nice and within a good budget, but there's just so many of them."
She lifted her head again and said "Well, maybe it's time we get the kids involved in this, too. They could help narrow it down, after all. It can't be one that only we decide is nice….They have to say it is, too." He nodded and said "Yeah, good point. Alright, after dinner we'll all sit down and talk about it. I've got a couple of them in mind that they'd probably like the best." Lilly smiled again and was about to say something when the front door opened, getting their attention. Donna walked in with another guy following her with a tall box on a hand dolly.
"Where do you want this, ma'am?" He asked as they came in. "Behind the desk, third door on the right." Donna said, closing the door behind him. He wheeled it down to where she said, going inside the same room Lilly had her ultrasound in before and came out a couple minutes later after dropping the box off. He handed her a clipboard and she signed a piece of paper before he said "Thank you, ma'am! Have a nice evening!" She smiled at him before he went outside and Cody asked "So, what was that?"
"The new ultrasound machine. The old one was beyond repair, apperantly….Besides, the new one was cheaper than the possible repairs would've been. Mind helping me unbox it?" Donna asked and Cody nodded, saying "Yeah, sure!" They all went to the back room where the box was, quickly opening it and setting the machine up within a few minutes. "Looks pretty nice to me!" Cody said as he tossed some bubble wrap in the box now laying on the floor. "Yeah, it really is! Lilly, would you like to be the first to use it?" Donna asked, smiling at her.
"Definitely!" Lilly giggled, her tail wagging. Cody chuckled and carefully lifted her onto the bed again as Donna plugged the machine in before putting on some gloves. She got the ultrasound gel out of a drawer and Lilly laid back, letting her rub it onto her stomach. Donna turned the machine on and got the sensor, placing it on Lilly's stomach and slowly moving it around, somewhat clear images showing up immediately on the larger screen. Like last time, there were dark voids on the screen with a larger bright spot around the middle of her stomach. "So, what do you think that is?" Lilly asked, gesturing to the bright spot.
"I think it's the pups you're carrying! This one shows solid objects as that bright white you see there. What's odd is that it's showing up as one big mass…." Donna said, moving the sensor around more. Lilly nodded and said "What about on my side there where we heard the heartbeat? Can you try and find it again?" Donna smiled and said "Of course I will…." Lilly giggled a little as Donna spread the gel onto her side a bit, putting the sensor around the same spot as last time and sure enough, "thump, thump….thump, thump….".
"Oh, there is it! Does it still sound like only one to you, too?" Lilly asked, her tail wagging again. Cody and Donna both nodded and she said "It really does. That's strange….Do you mind if I feel your stomach, hun?" Lilly smiled and shook her head, so Donna set the sensor on the machine's cart before gently feeling around her stomach. "Let's see….Your sides are really firm there and so is your middle….Lilly, I'm not entirely sure, but….I think you're only having one pup. A big one, too!" Lilly smiled again and said "Is that possible?"
"I honestly don't know….Then again, I always knew canines couldn't be pregnant from any other species, but you both've proven me wrong. I suppose anything IS possible…." Donna said, giggling a bit. She got a small towel and wiped Lilly's stomach off as she said "Well, I'm just so happy it did! I never thought it would happen, either!" Cody chuckled and kissed her forehead, making her purr a little as Donna said "Remember though, nothing is solid right now. Just because it only seems like one pup, doesn't mean it truly is. Although, I will tell you this now….If it is, then we'll have to do a C-Section." Lilly rolled onto her stomach and sat up, asking "What's that?"
"Well….Basically we'd have to do surgery. You'd be unconscious since we'd give you a special gas for that. It's giving birth through surgery, is the best way to put it." Donna said, sitting on the edge of the bed. Lilly got a bit nervous and asked "Will it….kill me?" Donna smiled and shook her head, hugging her as she said "No, of course it won't. You won't feel a thing, but you'll have a scar on your stomach." Lilly nodded and said "Well, it doesn't sound horrible, but it's not something I wanna do." Donna nodded too and said "I know, it's just a possibility. Just something to keep in mind for now."
Back at home, Dakota and Crystal were laying in their bed, quietly talking amongst themselves since Alexis and Chase were asleep in theirs, mostly about his parents looking at houses recently on the computer. "I just don't understand why they would be doing that, though. Neither of them have said anything about it much either….It's like something they're trying to keep us from knowing about." Dakota said, sounding suspicious of his parents. "Now, babe….You know as well as I do that if they're thinking about doing something, they'll run it by us, too. Even just going out for the night….You know how your Dad is." Crystal said, licking his cheek. He smiled a bit and said "I know, but it's just so odd lately…."
"Don't worry, I'm sure they have a good reason for it. Who knows, maybe they're just helping a friend or something…." Crystal said, getting up out of the bed and walked over to the door. "Where're you going?" Dakota asked, smiling more. She didn't say anything, but just walked out and into his parents' room, making him curious. Right as he started to get up to follow her, he heard her throw up in the bathroom. He quickly got up and went into the other room as well to see her sitting next to the toilet, seeming waiting. "Babe, you okay?" He asked, but he already knew what was going on.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Morning sickness….Yay…." She sarcastically said right before throwing up again. He weakly smiled and went in as well, sitting down and starting to rub her back, causing her to purr a little. After a few more minutes, she finally stopped, so he flushed the toilet and they walked out together. "Well, at least my stomach doesn't hurt anymore." She said, giggling a little. He smiled again and looked at her curiously, asking "You seem happy?" She nodded and said "I am. Why wouldn't I be?"
"Well, it's morning sickness….Don't you hate it?" He asked as she got a drink of water from the bowl in the kitchen. After swallowing the water, she said "Of course I do, but I knew it was coming soon enough. I wasn't sick this morning, so I knew I would be later on in the day. Besides, it doesn't really bother me anymore….After Alexis and Chase, I kinda know what to expect now while I'm pregnant." He chuckled a little as they walked back down to the bedroom, going in to see Alexis waking up now. "Well, look who's finally awake!" Crystal giggled as they walked in. Alexis groaned and got up, walking toward the door as she said "I feel like crap…."
"Oh, what's wrong?" Crystal said, stopping her. Alexis looked up and her eyes were really red and she just looked terrible overall. "I think I might be getting the flu or something….My nose is all clogged up, I can hardly breathe, my stomach hurts…." Alexis said, wiping her nose. Crystal weakly smiled and said "Yeah, it looks like you might be….We can ask Grandpa if he'd check you out if you want to." Alexis shook her head and said "No point, I know what it is….I had it before last year, remember?"
"Oh, right….Okay, honey. You should rest a lot, though." Crystal said and Alexis nodded before saying "I know, and I will. Right now, I gotta go pee." Crystal giggled a little and Alexis cracked a smile as she walked out of the bedroom. Dakota went over and nudged Chase awake, his eyes fluttering open and he sleepily asked "Something wrong, Dad?" Dakota smiled a bit and said "Alexis seems to be coming down with the flu. Might wanna try keeping a little space between yourselves unless you wanna get sick, too." Chase nodded and said "I know, she said she wasn't feeling well before we came in to sleep."
"Oh, okay. And you still happily slept right against her?" Crystal asked, smiling too. Chase smiled too and said "Of course I did. I love her too much…." Both Crystal and Dakota smiled more and she nodded, kissing his forehead as she said "Well, that's good of you…." Chase chuckled a little and said "Thanks, Mom. Where'd she go, though?" Dakota motioned to the door as she said "Outside to use the bathroom." He nodded and got up, stretching a little as he said "Okay. I gotta go myself, actually…." Crystal and Dakota laid back down in their bed while we went out, going out the front door and down the stairs.
He walked out into the bright sunlight, nearly blinded since he'd just woken up and saw Alexis over in the grass, sniffing around a little before squatting down to pee. He couldn't help but smile as she did, rolling his eyes as he walked over toward her. She stood back up after a few moments and turned around to see him coming, the smile on his face very evident. "Were you watching me pee again?" She asked, stifling a giggle. He shrugged as he walked over to some bushes and sniffed around too before finally lifting his leg and peeing on them as well. He looked over at her and she was watching him, making him chuckle as he asked "Are YOU watching me?"
She couldn't help but giggle as she said "No, I'm just thinking about how much more appropriate girls are when we do that…." He let out an amused sigh as he finished, asking as he walked over toward her "Oh yeah? Why do you think that?" She smiled and said "Because, all our stuff down there is right at the ground while you're all hanging out everywhere….Emphasis on "hanging out"…." He had a look of confusion on his face, causing her to giggle again and she point down underneath him. He looked down and then realized his wolfhood was mostly out, hanging down underneath him.
"Oh, that….Well, that's just so I don't get any on myself." He said, trying to hide his slight blush, but she saw it anyway. "Mmhm….I think you just get a boner any time you get to see this, don't you?" She slyly asked, running her butt under his chin and letting him see her womanhood. He smiled and lightly nosed her, making her let out a little moan. "No, not right now….I'm coming down with the flu…." She said, smiling at him a little he walked up beside her. She lightly giggled as they walked back inside and up to the apartment.
Chase hopped up and opened the door, letting her go in first. She smiled again and brushed her butt under his chin again, making him chuckle a little as she said "Such a gentleman…." He went in behind her and closed the door, the both of them going back down to the bedroom together. They went in and Crystal smiled at them, saying "You two enjoy yourselves out there?" They looked at her questioningly and Dakota motioned to the window, chuckling as he said "We saw you both out there….You're sick, but still getting ready to have fun?" Alexis blushed deeply and said "No, we were only playing around….I'm too tired for that, anyway…."
Crystal giggled again and they laid down in their bed, Alexis cuddling down against Chase and closing her eyes. Dakota and Crystal looked at each other and he asked "Wanna go out for a little bit? Mom and Dad should be home within an hour or so." She nodded and said "Yeah, that sounds good! Be nice to get outside for a little while." He smiled at her and they got up, going out together and closing the door down behind them. Chase smiled and rolled his eyes, laying his head down on his paws with a sigh. He glanced over at Alexis and she looked to be shivering a little bit, so he asked "Are you cold, Alexis?"
She nodded a little and said "A bit, but it's warm in here, though. Do you mind if I lay against you more? I don't wanna get you sick though…." He smiled again and said "I don't care if I get sick as long as you're as comfortable as can be…." She giggled a little and looked up at him, saying "Well, if you're sure…." He nodded and turned onto his side, putting his forelegs around and gently pulling her against himself. She softly purred and cuddled tighter against him, still shivering, but not as much thanks to his body heat. "Mmm….Thank you, babe…." She said, laying her head against his chest. He smiled and kissed her forehead, saying "You're welcome, my perfect angel…."
"Aww, Chase….Are you just saying that because you're still horny?" She asked, giggling a bit. He blushed a little, but said "No, I said it because I mean it….And how'd you know that anyway?" She giggled more and said "Because you're still partly hard…." He looked down and realized half his wolfhood was sticking out of his sheath, making him blush more. Crystal giggled and said "Yeah, I can see that….Just came back to get some water before we went for our walk and heard you two down here. Sorry to barge in, I'll go now."
"Thanks, Mom!" Alexis giggled as she went back out, closing the door behind her as she did. Chase sighed and said "Did you have to keep doing that with Mom standing right there?" Alexis smiled at him and said "Hey, she doesn't care. They know we have sex after all….Besides, I saw Mom doing the same thing to Dad the other day. She knew I saw too." Chase weakly smiled and said "What'd she say?" Alexis giggled again and gently squeezed his tip, making him groan even louder as she said "Nothing, neither of us were surprised after all." He nodded and kissed her nose, making her purr a little before starting to lick her neck and cheeks.
"Oh, Chase…." She purred, closing her eyes to enjoy it more. As she kept going on him, she felt his knot at it's full size, making her smile as she asked "Are you gonna cum soon?" After that, I'm not sure what lies in the future for the LWL series...One Of The Pack will have a part two as well most likely, so after the third installment of LWL, I'll probably turn my attention to OOTP.
