Lilly: It's SO good to see you all again! We've been waiting so long to get a new chapter up, and now we finally have! We'll admit, this one is a little shorter, but should still be rather good!
Cody: And we're going to try harder to get chapters up quicker on all the stories! Hope you all enjoy this one and let us know what you thought of it! Oh, nearly forgot...The next one won't be nearly as cheerful as this one. Can't say why, but it took a lot of discussing and tears before it was okay for us to do it.
Lilly: That's true, it really did. We all cried about it for quite some time...We felt that sharing about it would help to comfort everyone. That's all we can say right now, so just enjoy the chapter everybody!
Eve happily sighed as she laid down on her back in the warm sun on the grass in the backyard, feeling quite sleepy from earlier in the day. Her eyes were closed as she got comfortable, letting the sun warm and dry her damp fur. Kevin was already asleep under the tree a few feet away, quietly snoring to himself while most everybody else was inside where it was cooler.
Naomi had nursed their pups a little before they went inside, but not much since they didn't seem too hungry, more so Kayla. She only nursed for a minute or two before she went back to sleep and they all soon went inside to relax. Before Eve had came back outside, she and Alexis were talking a little about her relationship with Chase, which Eve was more than happy about for them.
Alexis admitted to her that she'd actually been in love with Chase for a quite a while before her heat got the best of her that night a few weeks ago. When Eve asked if it was just her heat that made her choose to do what they'd done, she said that it wasn't entirely that, but that she'd honestly wanted to become mates with him way beforehand. They spent a little while longer having a girl to girl talk, which was when Alexis said that she and Chase decided they'd be trying to have pups when she comes into heat again, even though that wouldn't be for about four months now. Eve was ecstatic to hear that, but reminded her about the risks of siblings having pups together.
After their little talk, Eve decided to come back outside to rest for a while since she was still rather tired from her and Kevin's "active" afternoon. He was already asleep when she came out, so she decided to just relax in the warm sun for a while. It was feeling really good and making her start to fall asleep, but before she dozed off, she heard Kevin suddenly yawn and looked over to see him waking up again. She smiled a little and said "Well, look who's awake…." He looked over at her and smiled too, sleepily asking "How long was I out?" She shrugged and said "A half hour or so. Sleep good?" He nodded and got up, stretching a little before walking over to her and asking "Did you sleep at all?"
"No, not really. I was actually almost asleep when you woke up." She giggled as he leaned down and kissed her. He chuckled and she noticed his eyes scanning over her and his tail wagging a little. She giggled more and pushed his nose with her paw, saying "No staring…." He looked back up at her and said "Aw, how come? You know I love looking at you…." She blushed under her fur a little and asked "Oh, really? And why do you love it so much?"
He smiled and put his paw on her stomach, slowing running up and down her body and making her softly sigh as he said "Because you have an amazing and beautiful body….Any guy would drool over you all day long…." She giggled a little again and said "Maybe, but you're the only one I'd let do that."
He smiled more and leaned down, kissing the middle of her stomach and making her sigh a little louder as her chest arched up at him. "Mmm….It feels really good when you do that…." She sighed, smiling up at him. He chuckled and leaned down to her ear, whispering "Did I mention I dreamed about our little bit of fun earlier?" She giggled and said "No, you didn't….It's okay, you didn't need to. I could see what it did for you."
Now he blushed a little, but smiled and said "Yeah, can't exactly stop that….You know what my favorite part was?" She looked at him questioningly with a smile on her face and then he said "Being allowed to provide you with as much pleasure as I could give…."
"Aww, Kevin….That's really sweet, but I know better than that….Are you really going to try and say you enjoyed pleasing me more than when you came in my mouth?" Eve said with a giggle, causing him to blush more. He smiled a bit more and said "Well….If you wanna put it that way…." She slowly nodded and said "I thought so….So, what is it exactly about pleasing me that you seem to enjoy so much?"
He shrugged and laid down beside her, resting his head on her chest and saying "Knowing that it's making you happy, I suppose. You know that's all I want to do…." She couldn't help but smile a little and said "Aww….I love you so much, Kevin!" He smiled and nuzzled her chest, saying "I love you too, Eve!" She softly purred a little and closed her eyes, letting out a happy sigh and laying her head back onto the grass.
It was quiet for a couple minutes as they laid there together until Kevin suddenly asked "Hey, Eve?" She opened her eyes and asked "Yes, honey?" She felt him lift his head up off her chest and he cleared his throat before saying "I was just thinking….about….Well, I mean I…." She smiled a little again and lifted her head up, seeing a nervous look on his face and she said "Kevin, what's the matter? You haven't seemed this nervous since our first date…."
He smiled a bit as well and said "I know, it's just….I want to….But you won't…." She let out an amused sigh and put her paw against his cheek, saying "Kevin, look at me…." He looked up at her and she said "Whatever you want to say, just say it. We both know there's really nothing either of us could say that would surprise us anymore…."
He smiled more and took a breath, saying "I'd like to….please you again. I know you're probably too tired, but I can't quit thinking about it…." She couldn't help but blush a little, which he noticed and quietly chuckled as she asked "And what brought this on all the sudden?" He shrugged and said "Well, when we were….earlier….It had definitely been a while since I got to enjoy that particular…."taste". I'd almost forgotten how much I love it….And I'd love to again even more…." She slowly smiled and giggled a little, playfully pushing his cheek a little and saying "Then I'd have to say enjoy yourself! I won't deny I love it, too…."
Meanwhile down at the vet, it was getting close to 5PM when Cody could clock out so they could go home. There was only about a half hour left, but Donna asked him to stay until then in case somebody came in. Nobody had for a little while now, so he was just leaning back in the chair while Lilly was quietly snoring in her bed with was sitting at the desk at the computer, researching parts for the diesel engine he still had to put in his new Jeep. He knew he needed motor and transmission mounts, bracing pieces for the frame and other odds and ends to get it working. It wouldn't be terribly hard, just time consuming. With Thomas and Lyla still in town for a little while longer, he said he'd help as much as he could to make it a bit easier.
He was scrolling through different web pages when he suddenly heard a whimpering sound coming from behind him. He turned around to see Serenity awake now and looking around like she was looking for something. He smiled a little and went over to her, kneeling down by the bed and quietly asking "What's wrong, baby girl?" She looked up at him and started to try and crawl toward him, making him chuckle a little as he reached down and picked her up. "Just wanted me to hold you?" He asked, sitting back down in the chair as he cuddled her. She squeakily purred and laid her head against his chest, closing her eyes again.
"I'll bet you're probably getting hungry, huh? Momma's still asleep, so you'll have to wait a little while…." He softly said, gently rubbing her back. He heard her stomach growl a little and chuckled again, leaning back in the chair to get more comfortable. About then, Donna came out of her office and saw them there, smiling as she said "It doesn't matter how much I see her, but she's still the most amazing thing I ever have and that'll never change!" Cody smiled again and nodded, saying "Same here. I know Lilly would say the same thing, too." Donna nodded and sat down in the other chair beside him, asking "How do you think she'll be as a teenager?"
Cody shrugged and said "I honestly have no idea….I imagine she'll have an interesting life, no doubt. Lilly seems to like the idea of her going to school, but….I'm not sure. I'm worried she'll be picked on or even worse for being so different…." Donna weakly smiling and put her hand on his shoulder, saying "While I do agree with you there, I have to agree with Lilly more….Serenity is almost more human than wolf, so it wouldn't be fair to keep her from those kind of things. I'd be just as worried as you are too, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't be denied things she's most likely going to want to do." Cody smiled more and nodded, saying "I know….Thank you, Donna. It probably won't be for a couple years, but we'll have a talk with her later on and see if she wants to."
"Good idea. How's Lilly been today?" Donna asked, looking down at her still asleep. "Seems to've been good all day long. She said she was really tired a few hours ago, but that's nothing new…." Cody said, turning his chair and looking at Lilly as well. Donna nodded and said "I got to thinking it's been long enough to take her stitches out if she wants me to. I can see her scar there already, so it'll be fine."
"Well, if she wants to, then I think it'd be a good idea. I know her stomach doesn't get as sore anymore when baby girl here nurses." Cody chuckled, kissing Serenity's forehead. Donna giggled and said "That's good! Let her know what I said when she wakes up. I don't mind doing it tonight." Cody nodded as Donna got up, going back down to her office.
Right about then, Serenity started whimpering again, getting Cody's attention. "What's the matter, hmm? I'll bet you're hungry now…." He chuckled, going over to Lilly's bed where she was still asleep. He gently laid Serenity down beside her and she immediately started nursing, causing Lilly to stir awake.
"Well, look who's awake…." Cody said, smiling at her. She looked up and smiled back, sleepily asking "How long was I asleep?" He shrugged and said "Only an hour or so. Serenity got hungry." Lilly nodded and looked back down, gently nuzzling Serenity as she nursed. "So, I was just talking to Donna a minute ago…." Cody said, getting Lilly's attention.
She looked back up at him asked "Should I be worried at all?" He chuckled and shook his head, saying "No, I don't think so….She was saying that if you want to, she can probably take your stitches out today before we go home. It's been long enough by now and even I can see it's pretty well healed."
She smiled again and said "That would be nice! They have started to bother me a little recently….Just irritating." He smiled too and nodded, saying "Well, I'll go let her know real quick." Lilly giggled and said "Okay then! Could you ask her if I could talk to her for a couple minutes, too? Girl to girl stuff…." Cody chuckled again and said "Sure, love." He leaned down and kissed her forehead, making her purr a little before he got up and went down to Donna's office.
"Hey, Lilly's awake now. She said she'd really appreciate it if you took her stitches out and that she'd like to talk to you for a few minutes." Cody said, smiling at her. "Oh, sure! I'll be out in a moment." Donna said, putting some papers in a filing cabinet. Cody nodded and went back out to the desk to see Serenity now laying on Lilly's side and Lilly giggling.
"What's she doing now?" He asked with a chuckle. "Hell if I know. Seems she's feeling a little playful." Lilly giggled as Serenity crawled on her. Cody sat back down in the chair and leaned back, just watching Serenity being playful. Lilly was just giggling her head off and messing with her a little as she played until Donna came out a few minutes later to see what was going on. "Aww...Is that her first time actually really playing?" Donna asked, leaning against the desk. Lilly smiled up at her and nodded, saying "Yeah, I think so. Dakota and Lupa were just about as old as she is now when they started to play as well."
"Well, I'll believe that's a good thing! So, you're ready to have those stitches out now?" Donna asked with a smile. Lilly nodded again and said "If you wouldn't mind. They've been bothering me a little bit recently. Mostly they itch, but also get caught on our blanket sometimes,too." Now Donna nodded and said "I sure as heck don't mind! Want me to do it now or wait until she calms down a little there?" Donna asked, gesturing to Serenity. "Don't worry, I'll take her." Cody said, reaching down and scooping her up. She let out a playful cry as he did, making them all laugh a little.
"Well, if you'd like to follow me..." Donna said and Lilly quickly nodded, getting up and following her to one of the rooms they use for minor surgeries. Cody followed them as well and they went in, leaving the door open and asking "Okay if I lift you up here?" Lilly smiled and nodded again, so Donna reached down and carefully lifted her up onto the metal table. Lilly laid down on her side and then Donna said "Alright, this'll only take a couple minutes. Just relax and I'll try my best to do it quickly."
"You don't need to hurry. Cody, would you mind giving us a little alone time? I'd still like to talk in private..." Lilly asked, smiling at him a little. He chuckled and said "No problem, baby girl...I'll be out at the desk." She smiled more and nodded before he walked out with Serenity, giving them some privacy. "So, what's on your mind, hun? Everything okay?" Donna asked as she put on a pair of gloves. "Yeah, everything's fine. I was just curious about what you consider a safe time until we can have sex again. I know my Mom said about a week when I had Dakota and Lupa, but I have no idea about this time." Lilly said, blushing a little.
Donna giggled a little as she began on Lilly's stitches, saying "Well, considering you had a C-Section instead of giving birth normally, there really wasn't anything saying you couldn't have sex in the first place. There wasn't really any trauma or anything to your girly parts down there..." Lilly smiled again and said "Oh...Well, I didn't think of that! So basically, we would've been fine all along?" Donna simply nodded and then Lilly said "That's good to hear!"
"I'm glad I could help! Anything else on your mind? It'll still be a few minutes until I'm done..." Donna said as she carefully clipped and took some of the stitches out. "Maybe one more thing...It's about Alexis and Chase, though. You already know that they're a couple now, right?" Donna nodded again and said "Yep, I also remember she said they want to try and have pups later on. Is that what you're conserned about?" Lilly nodded and said "Yeah, kinda...What's the chance that any pups they may have are normal?"
"Well, that's a hard question to answer, to be honest...There's never any guarantee, even like when you first got pregnant. They could turn out completely fine like Dakota and Lupa did, or maybe not. There's just too many possibilities to give you an answer." Donna said as she took the last couple stitches out. Lilly nodded and said "Okay then. I had a feeling you'd say something like that, but it still helps a little." Donna smiled and said "You're welcome, Lilly. I'm glad I could help, even if it wasn't much. You're all done if you guys wanna head home." Lilly smiled as she got up, saying "Again, thanks, Donna!"
She carefully set her down on the floor and they went out to the front desk where Cody was sitting with Serenity. He saw them come out and smiled, saying "So, you're all done now?" Lilly smiled too and nodded, saying "Yep, seems so! I'm ready to go home now if you are." He chuckled and said "I've been ready...Mind if we go, Donna?" She giggled and shook her head, saying "No, not at all. I'm only going to be here another hour or so myself."
"Okay then. We'll see you tomorrow then!" Cody said as he got up. Donna nodded and went back down to her office while they went out to the car. Lilly got into the passenger seat and he laid Serenity down with her before going back around to his side and getting in. "So, what sounds good for dinner tonight, love?" Cody asked as he started the car. Lilly giggled a little and said "I don't know yet. When we get home, mind if I could get a quick bath? I really kinda smell today..."
"No you don't! You smell beautiful..." He chuckled, kissing her cheek as they pulled out of the parking lot. She giggled more and said "Oh, don't lie to me...It's been a couple days since you last gave me a bath. I smell, period." He chuckled more as they drove off and she leaned against his shoulder, letting out a happy sigh and closing her eyes. "Getting tired?" He asked as he put his arm around her. "No, just really comfortable...But, don't be surprised if I fall asleep."
