Lilly: Whew, about time! Been working like dogs on this chapter, no pun intended. We feel it came out pretty good, but you're all the judges of that, after all! It'd been a couple hours since the lady, whose name was Catherine, her husband and their dog, Marlowe had come in. She'd been sitting behind the desk beside Lilly and Serenity for the last hour or so now, asking questions and, with their permission, holding and examining Serenity. She kept telling them how she couldn't get over how amazing Serenity was and Lilly told her she felt the exact same when she first saw her.
Cody gave Marlowe his check up that they originally came in for and they were just coming out of the exam room. Marlowe went back over next to Catherine while Cody sat back down in the chair. She was holding Serenity and when he came over, she smiled and asked "Whaddya think of her, hmm boy?" He leaned down and sniffed her a little and then gave her cheek a lick, making them all laugh a little.
"I guess he likes her!" Lilly giggled as she sat up in the bed, stretching out a little. She looked up at Cody and said "I'm gonna run outside real quick, okay?" He nodded and she got up, walking out to the door and going outside. It was sunny out and rather warm, making her smile as the sun warmed her.
"Ahh, yeah….Nice…." She said, walking over to the grass and doing what she needed to before laying down partly underneath a tree. She let out a content sigh and stretched out, laying her head down on her paws. She knew she could relax a little since Cody was in there with Serenity, and that's just what she did. Laying there in the warm sun made her feel a lot better, like she could just fall asleep there.
She laid there for almost ten minutes before the heard the door open and opened her eyes to see Catherine, her husband and Marlowe walking out. She lifted her head and smiled, asking "Heading home, I take it?" Catherine smiled too and nodded, saying "Yep, it's about time we do. Your baby girl's getting restless in there, though. Might be hungry."
"Okay, thanks for letting me know! Take care!" Lilly said as she got up. "You too, Lilly!" She said as they walked to their car, getting in and driving off while Lilly went inside. She saw Cody standing behind the desk holding Serenity and she was crying a little while he tried to shush her. He turned to see her coming in and smiled, saying to Serenity "See, what'd I tell you? Mommy's right there…."
Lilly giggled and went behind the desk to them, asking "What's got her fur in a bunch now?" He chuckled and laid her down in the bed, saying "Ah, who knows….Probably just wanted you to come back." Lilly laid down beside her and she immediately curled up and quieted down, nuzzling up against her mother's chest. Lilly kissed her forehead as she said "Okay, go back to sleep, little girl….Won't be too long til we go home."
Cody chuckled from his chair and leaned back, saying "So, Christine was telling me about what she does while you were out there." Lilly looked up at him and smiled, asking "Really? What'd she say?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a card she gave him, saying "She does a lot of studying with wolves at the reservation she works at. They've had a few somewhat odd pairings there between wolves of different types. A timber wolf and arctic wolf, for one….Quite an interesting litter of pups from them, too!"
"Well, that sounds cool! What'd she think of baby girl here?" Lilly giggled, running her tail over Serenity. Cody sat up in the chair and said "Might surprise you, but….she'd really like to study her as she grows. Nothing bad, but just make a history of her life and make it known she actually exists."
Lilly slowly nodded and said "So, basically she'd be just watching her as she grows up? I don't see any problem with that….As long as she doesn't try and do anything to her." Cody smiled and said "No, she won't do that, I asked already. All she would like to do is just….Well, basically, make a book talking about her. Some pictures here and there, but that's it."
"Doesn't sound like a bad idea to me. Did she say when she wanted to start it?" Lilly asked. He nodded and said "After I told her I'd need to talk to you about it first. She'd really like to while Serenity's still a baby." Lilly smiled and said "Well, let her know I'm okay with it. I think it would be a pretty cool thing to do!"
Back at home, everybody was milling about the house, even Naomi. She was in a little bit better mood after getting some sleep, but she was still definitely quite upset. Eve took Kali and Alexander for her so she could get up and stretch for a little while. Naturally, Eve didn't mind at all and was quite glad to keep an eye on them.
Naomi and Todd went out front to lay in the warm sunshine for a little while, quietly talking amongst themselves about their pups. She was worried about something happening to Kali and Alexander, but Todd reassured her that both Eve and Cody said they'd be okay and to trust their judgement.
"I know what they said, hun, but I just can't help but worry….And I know it probably annoys you, too." Naomi said, weakly smiling as she looked down at her paws. He smiled too and nosed her cheek, saying "You know that's not true….I'll admit, I worry too, but I just try not to let it get to me." She nodded and looked back up at him, saying "I try not to as well, but I can't help it…."
He smiled a bit and kissed her cheek, causing her to softly purr as he said "I know, it's a mother thing….Won't ever go away now." She lightly giggled and nodded, saying "Yeah, probably….Anything you wanna do today? I wanna ask Mom if she'd mind watching them again later so we can do something."
He shrugged and said "Nothing in mind I can think of….You?" She giggled a little again and her cheeks flushed as she said "Well, since you've been here beside me through everything recently and even had to support me at times….I feel like I should give you a little something." He smiled again and asked "And what might that be, hmm?"
She giggled more and slowly licked his cheek, saying "Just wait and find out….Promise you'll like it…." He chuckled and licked her cheek back, saying "I'm sure I will! Think we should head back in now? We've been out here for a good while." She nodded and they got up off the wood porch, going back inside to see Eve still curled up on the floor, but now asleep around the pups.
Naomi smiled and quietly said "I think they're doing just fine right now….How long has she been asleep, Dad?" Kevin smiled and said "About fifteen minutes or so. Just after you two went outside, anyway." She nodded and they went over to the couch, climbing up and laying down with each other. "I think I'll take a little bit of a nap myself." Naomi said as she yawned, making Todd chuckle.
"Alright, you do that then. I'll wake you up after while." He said, kissing her forehead. She softly purred and laid her head down against his chest, cuddling against him a little more. "I'm gonna go out in the backyard for a little while. I take it it's getting warm outside?" Kevin asked as he got up. Todd nodded and said "Yep, it's nice out there right now!" Kevin nodded and walked over to the back door, sliding it open and walking out into the sunlight.
Without warning, Todd felt Naomi's paw go down his side to his wolfhood, immediately getting his attention. He looked down at her and saw a smile on her face and she quietly said "Don't say anything, just relax…." He couldn't help but smile too and kissed her again, letting her do as she please.
Down in Dakota and Crystal's room, they were just waking up from a nap, feeling much better now, but more so Crystal. She had a headache before, but now it was pretty much gone. She let out a yawn and opened her eyes to see him stretching and smiled, sleepily saying "Hey, babe…."
He smiled too and nuzzled her, saying "Hey, beautiful! Sleep good?" She softly purred and nodded, saying "I slept really good! How long were we out?" Dakota looked at the window and could see the sun was just starting to get down below the roof of the house and said "At least an hour or two. If I'm right, it's almost four now."
She nodded again and said "It kinda feels like it is. I need to make a little trip outside." They got up and headed out of the bedroom, going out to the living room to see Eve asleep on the floor and Naomi and Todd up on the couch. They could hear him panting rather heavily and Crystal smiled, saying "Hey, you two! What's going on?"
Their heads shot up and Naomi was quick to say "Just relaxing. Dad's outback." Dakota and Crystal nodded and they could both easily see a small amount of Todd's seed on her muzzle, making Crystal giggle a little, but they didn't bring it up. "Well, we're headed outside for a minute before I wet myself." Crystal giggled, causing Naomi to as well.
"Well, you should do that, then!" She giggled and Crystal nodded, her and Dakota going to the front door and going out. He closed it behind them and Crystal said "They were having some fun up there. From what I saw, she was giving him a good licking." Dakota chuckled and shook his head with a sigh, saying "You're always pointing that out if you see it…."
She smiled at him and said "Yeah, and?" He chuckled more and shrugged before she kissed his cheek and walked off into the grass, sniffing around for a few moments to find a spot to relieve herself. She could feel Dakota was watching her from the porch, making her smile a little. She squatted down to pee and looked back at him with a smile as she did, letting it go.
"Something getting your attention?" She asked with a giggle, a smile on his face too. He simply shrugged and jokingly said "Only that you're wet now." She giggled more and finished soon after, standing back up and going over to him. She wrapped her tail around his neck and softly purred "So, dry me off…."
He smiled at her and glanced down at her womanhood to see a drop of fluid fall off her lips, saying "Oh, I dunno….I like how the light shimmers on you now…." She giggled again and pushed her butt up at him, saying "Oh, come on….You know you want some…." He chuckled and looked at her, saying "If I didn't know any better, I'd say someone's hormones are acting up…."
"Maybe….I do feel like I need my fill….Of you…." She purred, moving her paw to his half-exposed wolfhood. He smiled more and said "Well then….Wanna go back to bed?" She nodded and they shared a brief kiss before going back inside to hear Todd quietly groan and Naomi giggle at the same time.
"Y'all having fun?" Crystal asked with a giggle as the door closed. They both looked at her and Naomi licked her lips off, saying "Possibly, but don't tell anyone." Crystal giggled again and nodded as her and Dakota went down to their room. He was nosing her womanhood the entire time and as soon as he closed the door, they locked together and fell to the floor in a passionate kiss.
They slowly broke apart after a few moments and Crystal lustfully smiled at him, saying "Fill me up…." He smiled back and kissed her nose, wasting no time in lining himself up with her womanhood and pushing in. She threw her head back with a moan and he leaned down, kissing and licking her neck as he thrust into her.
Back at the vet, Cody and Lilly were just getting ready to head home for the day. He was taking care of a few small things here and there, like cleaning the desk off and sweeping like usual while Lilly was patiently waiting in her bed with Serenity, who was slowly nursing off her mother. Lilly was purring and occasionally nuzzling her as she nursed, loving every second.
"Hey, Cody?" She quietly said, getting his attention. He looked over to see her smiling and she motioned to Serenity, saying "She's looking right at me…." He smiled too and went over to her, kneeling down to see she really was looking up at Lilly. He chuckled and gently rubbed her back, saying "She knows who her Momma is." Lilly giggled and nuzzled her again while Cody went back to sweeping, getting the last little bits.
He put the broom back in the small closet and sighed, saying "There, all done. Almost ready to head on home?" Lilly nodded and said "Soon as baby girl's done there." He nodded as well and said "I'll let Donna know we're about ready to go." He went over to her office and knocked on the door before going in, saying "Hey, just lettin' you know we're about to head home in a few minutes."
"Oh, okay! You remember my niece, right? Came in a while back with her boy?" Donna asked. Cody quickly nodded and said "Yeah, of course I do! How've they been?" Donna smiled and said "Really good! She's coming in a little while, so if you and Lilly wanna stick around for a little while longer…."
"Well, I'll ask her, but I'm sure she'd like to!" Cody chuckled. Donna nodded and Cody went back out to the front, going to Lilly and saying "So, Donna just said her niece is coming in soon if you wanna stick around." Lilly smiled and said "While that does sound nice, I really wanna head home. I'm really tired…." He smiled too and nodded, saying "Okay then. I'll let her know." With that, he went back down to her office.
Lilly happily sighed and looked back down at Serenity just as she finished nursing, letting go and curling up against her stomach. She leaned down and nuzzled her, saying "Almost time to go home, little girl! Daddy's gonna give us a nice bath, too. Sound fun?" Serenity squeakily yawned and cuddled down more, making Lilly giggle as she said "No, doesn't seem fun? Well, you'll learn to like it someday, I promise."
Right about then, she heard the jingling sound of Cody's keys, getting her attention as he came back out. "Ready to go, baby?" He asked, smiling at her. She smiled back and nodded, so he bent down and gently picked Serenity up so Lilly could get up, too. They headed out to his car and got in, laying Serenity on the seat with Lilly and he started the car.
"When we get home, think we could have a nice bath to relax? Not a shower, but a real bath….Soap bubbles, jets….Everything!" Lilly giggled, her tail wagging a little. He chuckled and nodded as they pulled out of the parking lot and onto the road, saying "I think that's a good idea! Be a nice time to relax." She slowly nodded and said "I'll ask Mom if she wouldn't mind keeping an eye on Serenity here. I'm sure she'd love to!"
They drove on for about a half hour towards home, the only sounds being Serenity squeakily purring and the radio playing quietly. They finally got off the highway and turned onto their street, driving up and Cody pulled the car into the driveway, parking and shutting it off. He picked Serenity up again before they got out, going to the front door and going inside together.
"Well, hey, you two! Finally home from work, huh?" Eve asked from the couch with a smile. Lilly returned it and said "Yeah, finally! Seems like the day would never end…." Eve giggled and said "Wasn't much better here, just seemed to drag on." Cody chuckled and sat down in the recliner with Serenity, cradling her as he did. Lilly hopped up on the couch beside him and next to Eve, stretching for a moment before laying down.
"What sounds good for dinner?" Cody asked, gently rubbing Serenity's neck and causing her to purr more. Everybody looked at each other and finally Lupa said "I suppose anything, really. I'm personally not all that hungry." They all threw some ideas back and forth for a few minutes and finally decided on some simple baked chicken. Cody laid Serenity on the couch between Eve and Lilly before going into the kitchen, getting dinner ready.
About An Hour Later
After dinner, mostly everybody was laying in the living room watching TV, except for Alexis, Chase, Lupa and Shadow down in the bedroom. Lilly was flipping through the channels trying to find something good and finally gave up with a sigh, saying "Well, I give up….Mom, would you mind taking Serenity for a little bit? I asked Cody to give me a bath tonight."
Eve smiled and nodded, saying "I'd love too, honey….You two enjoy yourselves, I've got her." Lilly smiled too and said "Thanks, Mom! Shall we, babe?" Cody chuckled and got up with Lilly, going down to their bedroom and closing the door as they went in. He got a couple clean towels from the closet and they went into the bathroom. He got the water running while she sat down to wait the couple minutes it took to warm up enough.
While it was, he opened one of the cabinet doors and pulled out a few candles, making her curious. "Whatcha got those for?" She asked, watching him put them on the edge of the bathtub. He smiled and said "You'll see…." She couldn't help but smile as well, simply watching as he did what he did.
A couple minutes later, he closed the drain on the bathtub, letting the water start to fill it as he said "Okay, nice and warm! Hop on in!" She giggled and said "I'll wait until you're in." He chuckled and quickly undressed, dropping his shirt on her head. She giggled again and shook it off, saying "You're an ass…." He got in and sat down in the water, followed by her hopping in.
"Mmm….That feels so nice…." She purred, loving how the hot water felt. He chuckled and grabbed a bottle of bath soap, pouring it into the running water to make it all bubbly. It quickly built up in the water and Lilly giggled, blowing some bubbles at him. He returned it with a handful onto her head, both of them laughing.
Soon enough, the water was as high as the middle of her shoulder, so he turned it off and laid back in the bathtub. She moved over and laid her body on his, putting her paws up on his shoulders and laying her head on his chest. "Hey, Cody?" She quietly asked as she got comfortable.
"Yes, beautiful?" He asked, running his hand up and down her back. She smiled and let out a happy sigh, saying "I love you so much…." He smiled too and kissed her head, making her purr as he said "I love you too, Lilly…." She closed her eyes and smiled more, licking his neck and cuddling tighter against him.
He got a bottle of lavender scented shampoo and drizzled some on her back, massaging it in to her fur. She let out a somewhat loud purr and moan, saying "Oh, that feels so good….Get it in there deep…." He smiled again and did as she asked, going all up and down her back. When he was done, he washed it back out, hearing her purr and sigh the entire time.
"You wanna know something?" She quietly asked. He kissed her forehead and asked "What's that, love?" She smiled and lifted her head up off his chest, saying "I'm getting hot….Feel like making love in here?" He smiled too and kissed her nose, causing her to giggle and he said "Would I ever say no to getting to enjoy your beauty?"
Sorry it took so long on this chapter, everyone. It was pretty hard getting it to come together for some reason...But, now that it's done, we know just what to do for the next couple chapters! And just a heads up...There's not a lot of this story left to go. Maybe five chapters or so, but then the new installment picks up! It'll start off with Serenity's life growing up from a baby to her teenage years for, we predict, the first five chapters. After that, it'll fade into the REAL story!
