Fuji looked up in surprise as Mizuki lead Atsushi into their offices, pale and frightened. He stood up and called the others into the room. An and Jirou joined them. "I'm sorry to bother you," Atsushi said in a shaky voice. "But I thought I'd better let you know. I dreamed of Ryou last night."

Mizuki glanced at Fuji, then turned back to Atsushi. "You did? And..."

Atsushi sighed. "And he left me a note this morning." He handed the paper over, and Mizuki held it out to Fuji.

'Atsushi,

I tried to stay away, but I understand why Kojirou did what he did. I'm sorry.

I'm leaving. I don't want you to look for me.

Ryou'

"You said you didn't see any ghosts at his funeral, either," Atsushi said, looking at Mizuki. "Why didn't you take care of him then?"

"We didn't have the chance," Fuji said. "Your parents wouldn't leave him alone, and by the time we got to the cemetery, it was too late."

Atsushi nodded wearily. "Okay. This doesn't mean the end, does it?"

"No," Fuji said. "We'll go after him, and take care of it. You will stay here," he added. "You can stay out of it, now."
