Ron's POV

Ron woke to find the sheets tangled around his legs and no warm body next to him. He could have sworn Hermione should have been here. Looking around the bedroom he noticed the closet doors open and Hermione's overnight bag gone. His head spun as he processed this and realised she must have left last night. Why? Swinging his legs round to sit on the edge of the bed, Ron tried to remember what happened last night. His thoughts were swirling in his head, how much did he drink? And why didn't Harry stop him from drinking so much? Well, there was one thing he knew, he had to put a stop to this Malfoy business that seemed to be going on. What was Hermione playing at by going to the ball with the ferret? Sure, he might have fooled around with Armartis at the ball, but that was to get back at Hermione for going with Malfoy in the first place. As if she wouldn't have known who her date was. What utter bullshit. That's it, he had to find her. Put her in her place. Who was she to disappear in the night after spending the evening with his worst enemy?

Hermione's POV

Hermione woke to find herself in an unfamiliar bed, in an unfamiliar room. And she couldn't for the life of her remember why. A knock came at the door and before she could answer, it swung open to reveal Ginny. Then everything came rushing back. Shots, Ron. What was she going to do with him?

"Breakfast is on the table, but for merlins sake, don't wake Malfoy." With that, Ginny disappeared. Hermione sat up and rubbed her eyes. Her bag had been next to the door so the least she could do was get up and get dressed before wandering out to Blaises' kitchen. The satisfying smell of bacon and eggs rushed out to meet her as she left the room and Hermione hurried out, her stomach rumbling. The sight that greeted her as she walked down the hallway was a shock to the system though. Draco Malfoy was bare chested and sprawled on Blaises' couch with the most angelic expression on his face as he slept. Muffled laughter came from her left as Ginny and Blaise covered their mouths to try hide their laughter from Hermione who was staring opened mouthed at the man in front of her. By gods, she thought. Time has been fantastic to him. Closing her mouth, Hermione made it to the table without looking back to ogle him. Ginny had a knowing look in her eyes as she winked at Hermione.

"Don't get any ideas Ginerva Weasley. I'm still married." Hermione warned. Ginny rolled her eyes as she served up a plate for Hermione.

"I'm not getting ideas, I already have ideas. And your relationship with my brother is as good as done by now anyway and you know it. Week or no week." Ginny replied. Hermione glanced at Blaise. His smile was enough for her to know that Ginny had told him and she didn't mind.

"Well, I'll finish up here and then I better go confront Ron." Hermione said glumly.

Ginny came around and gave her a hug.

"It will work out Mione."

Pulling her keys out of her pocket, Hermione unlocked the door to Better Books. Even though it was Sunday, she had a few orders she needed to take care of and to be honest with herself, she was putting off finding Ron. Closing the door behind her, she headed over to her office and sat down. Shuffling through the small pile of orders, she heard the door open behind her again. Turning around she found Ron looking down on her.

"Ron."

"Hermione."

The silence between them was so thick, Hermione though she could cut it with a knife.

"I've been looking for you Hermione. Where have you been? I woke up to find the bed empty and your overnight bag gone." Ron said gruffly.

"That's funny. You don't remember do you?" Hermione asked sadly.

"Remember what?"

"That you forced yourself on me last night Ronald after I said no." Hermione said. Ron's face didn't change. There was no trace of surprise or outrage. Hermione went back to her order pile. Without looking at him, Hermione sighed.

"I had to undress you for bed last night after I took you from my mother's house begging me to come home. I found pink lipstick on your collar, on your neck, on your sleeve. I wasn't wearing pink lipstick at the ball Ron, Armartis was."

"My date tried to seduce me and I told her no." Ron started.
"Don't make excuses Ron. And don't lie to me. You have a week to clean up your act and start being my husband. Otherwise I want a divorce. If you can't be a faithful husband then I don't want to be your wife any longer. If you think you can walk all over the top of me again and you don't think you can change, then I'll file for divorce this afternoon. Now if you don't mind, I have work to do." Hermione dipped her quill into the inkpot and started writing a letter, ignoring Ron.

"Hermione, you can't be serious."

"I am, Ronald."

"I'll take you out for tea tonight then." With that he left. Hermione closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose. Hopefully tonight would mark the beginning of a new start with herself and Ron. Going back to her letter, she formed her response to Narcissa's invitation to have lunch at Saint Hectors on Tuesday.

Narcissa, I would love to have lunch with you at Saint Hectors, and will arrive around one o'clock to enjoy your lovely company. May I ask however if your son will be attending? - Hermione

Hermione reread the letter. Maybe she should rephrase and ask if anyone else would be attending. She sounded too forward asking specifically if Malfoy would be there.

Narcissa, I would love to have lunch with you at Saint Hectors, and will arrive around one o'clock to enjoy your lovely company. May I ask however if anyone else will be attending? - Hermione

There, now she would send it.

Narcissa's POV

Narcissa was sitting at the table with a cup of tea when Hermione's response came. Sitting opposite her however, were Blaise and Ginny. Narcissa took a sip of her tea as she read Hermione's reply and she couldn't help a small smirk that graced her features.

"What did she say?!" Ginny burst out. Blaise laughed.

"C'mon 'Cissa! Tell us!"

"She said that she would love to come to lunch and asked if anyone else was going to be there. I think you two should join Hermione and myself for lunch and then there is an excuse for Draco to come as well. Blaise, you can tell him you don't want to be surrounded by women so he has to come." Narcissa stated. Blaise nodded.

"So should I tell her that you two will be joining us?" Narcissa asked. Both Ginny and Blaise nodded.

Hermione, Ginny Weasley and Blaise Zabini will be joining us as well for lunch. Of course Astoria will be there as well as she lives at the Orphanage and all my darling little orphans will join us as well. See you Tuesday lunch time my dear. – Narcissa

Hermione's POV

Hermione read the letter and frowned. There was no mention whether Malfoy would be there or not. But if Blaise and Ginny were going then maybe Malfoy would be there as well because of Blaise. Oh this was hurting her head. Why was she worried that Malfoy would be there anyway? Because you don't want to be face to face after ogling his naked torso this morning. A sly voice in her head replied. Hermione shook her head. There was nothing she could do about it if he happened to be there, why worry?
