Harry's POV

Sitting at the table in Grimmald place with a cup of tea was nice. Harry liked the quiet that came with the place, the only sounds right this second were Kreacher bustling around in the kitchen making food for the two of them. The relationship between the two of them was good after the war, Kreacher respected Harry and Harry respected Kreacher. That was the way it should be. Not to mention that Kreacher made awesome food. Life as an auror was exciting and fun, but it was the moments at home in the peace and quiet that Harry quietly lived for. Little did he know his quiet night at home was about to be interrupted.

Hermione's POV

With a pop she apparated to Grimmald place, landing neatly on the sidewalk as she waited for the house to reveal itself. Once the door was visible, Hermione took out her wand and tapped it on the door handle. It was something she came up with after the war. The house would recognise a few magical signatures. Herself, the Weasleys and a few other people Harry trusted had access to Grimmald place whenever, everyone else had to knock and wait to see if they were received. Entering the house, she was assaulted with herb filled aromas and inhaled deeply, her stomach rumbling. Walking toward the kitchen she called out.

"Hello, is there enough for one more?"

Harry's POV

Harry smiled as he heard his best friends' voice.

"There's always room for one more Hermione, you know Kreacher always has extra."

"Good, because I just left the date with Ron before we even ordered and I'm famished." She said walking into the kitchen. Kreacher popped his head out from behind the oven, eyeing Hermione and croaked.

"Is miss staying?" Hermione nodded.

"Is that ok Kreacher? If you don't have enough I can come back later after you guys eat-"

"That's enough of that miss, there's always enough." Kreacher growled ducking back behind the stove. Harry chuckled at the house elf's antics and turned back to Hermione with his cup of tea as she sprawled herself into a chair.

"So what happened tonight?" He asked, taking a sip of tea. Hermione screwed her face up.

"I gave him a week to change his tune, and what does he do? Takes me to The Three Broomsticks, where apparently he's been taking side dishes often enough that when we first walked in, she asked if it was for the usual table before she saw that he was with me. I mean come on! Who takes their wife to the place they've been taking their floozies and then lies about it to her face when she notices the slip up! I can't believe the audacity! What did he think was going to happen? He knew that I knew there were others and then with this slip up, lied to my face about it Harry! Even Rosemerta tried to cover up for him!" Hermione raged. Harry sat and listened patiently for her to get it all before trying to talk.

"I mean I know that I've only just given him this one week ultimatum, but Christ! How thick can he be? And honestly Harry, after this disaster, I don't even want to give him a week. I would rather have the divorce papers signed now." As she finished her ranting, Harry sighed. He knew it would come to this; a week wouldn't have changed anything.

"Mione, did you really believe a week would change anything?" he asked quietly. Hermione looked at him then looked at the table.

"No. I knew deep down that it wouldn't. I guess, I guess I just wanted to see if he would fight for me, to show me whether he still cared. We've been together so long, as friends and in love. I guess I just wasn't enough for him." The last part she whispered so softly and with such conviction that Harry felt his heart break for her.

"Mione, you can stay here tonight if you want. There's always plenty of spare beds here. Let's just eat tea and chill out tonight. I got a tv installed last month so I can even put on a movie if you want? No channels, but the dvd player works just fine." Hermione nodded.

"Sounds perfect right now, Harry."

Draco's POV

"Alright I'll have one more. Then I'm leaving." Draco stated to Blaise and Theo. "And it's only because I want to see what the oaf does now that Hermione's left him on their date. Not because I actually want to be here with you two." The two men listening to their friend and sniggered.

"Because you have the hots for her Malfoy, I might have only seen what happened tonight, but if that's any indication then damn. You could have any woman, why her?" Theo asked. Draco smirked at him.

"Because she got me wasted last night while upset over her 'husband' and yet we didn't fuck. Because I can see how badly treated she is and Merlin knows I always had a thing for petite brunettes." he chuckled darkly. As the trio sat and drank their drinks Draco watched the crowd, particularly a certain red head who was sitting looking down in his drink. Before long though a woman approached his table and Draco watched as Ron looked up at the woman and his entire being changed. Instead of just sitting there, he came to life, wrapping an arm around the woman's waist and pulling her onto his lap. Disgusted, Draco looked away.

"I'm going back to the O, don't want to see the Weasel stick his tongue down that girls throat. Pretty sure their divorce will come through pretty quickly if Granger hears about this."

"You're not going to tell her are you mate? Because then you would definitely have no hope in hell with her." Blaise asked. Draco shook his head. As if he would do that, he wasn't stupid. Waving goodbye he slipped out the door of the pub and into the shadows.

So, I know this one is rather short and a bit of filler, but I decided to get this out now.
originally this is only part of what I originally wrote but I felt like I need to cut it here to really finish what I have. So forgive me for this one but keep an eye out for the next part!
