Morgan sat down, huge smile across her face, just to let Alejandro know that he hadn't broken her. Isabelle sat on the other side of him, but this time, it meant that she was sick of taking crap from him.

If he was panicing, he definitely wasn't showing it. "Yes?" He snapped at the two harshly. "Can I help you with something?"

Isabelle rolled her eyes. So like him. "Yeah," she retorted, "We wanted to let you know that Morgan's not gonna take anymore of your bullying... and... she's not scared and she's not backing down from sitting at this table. You got that?"

He snorted. "You think I care about that? Or what you do, in the first place?" He shook his head. "No, you're not worthy for me to give you that much thought."

Morgan herself smirked. She could Alejandro wasn't pleased, despite not saying it. She won. And he was the sore loser.

"What are you smiling about?!" He barked.

If it was possible, her grin got even bigger, "Your defeat," she answered simply. "But, it's a lot like you said earlier; you're not worthy of being on my mind."

He shrugged and went back to eating. Morgan felt somewhat irked that he wasn't playing her game anymore. "What?! So you just give up? Are you or are you not the same Alejandro that just dumped a bucket of cold water down my back?"

He said nothing, ignoring her. Instead, he turn over to Isabelle, "Isabella, please tell the ginger moron she has no point she's getting at."

Isabelle raised an eyebrow, opening her mouth to rely his message, "Morgan, Alejandro says-"

"I know what he said," she snapped with a bit of misdirected rage. "I can hear, thank you," she continued at Alejandro himself.

He shrugged. "Forgive me, Chica. I meant no disrepect," he said, straight at her.

She mentally raised an eyebrow. He meant no disrepect? Unheard of. "Yeah, whatever," she scoffed.

They awkwardly finished the rest of their meal in scattered whispers, hushed hisses and fits, along with pieces of bitter, dirty inform ation about others (gossip).

Noah hated to admit it, but Duncan was right. There was one place left. He hadn't even thought it possible for her to be there. But what other choice did he have, than to go check anyway?

North Kale's academy for gifted geniuses, it was.

That or to his early grave by Izzy.

Morgan felt like crap. It was only science class, but she felt like any minute, she would either start puking or drift off to sleep.

It was so boring relearning all this stupid crap. She'd learned it two years ago. Mommy made sure she'd be a genius when she grew up. And she was; a four year old girl at the top of her class. Amazing.

She wasn't the youngest, though. There was a girl two years younger than her, and almost as smart. Her name was ...Kylie?

Morgan frowned. She should probably pay more attention when a new kid's getting introduced. She tried to make that a mental note, but she knew she'd just ignore it again next time.

At one point during the class, she found herself staring out the window, wishing she could be just like the bird she was observing. Then she could just take her great wings and fly away.

"Miss Benten, would you like to explain how..." She turned her ears off as her teacher ranted at her about distractions.

"Yes!" She blurted.

Mr. Betekenen frowned at her strangely. "Okay? Go to the board and, by all means, finish off my lesson."

She took one look at the board, and fixed the rest of the lesson down while Mr. Betekenen just stared on with open-mouthed astonishment. If he'd been expecting her to screw up and make a mistake, she didn't. Instead, she preformed perfectly.

Her fellow classmates cheered on their young frienemy. No one else dates put a teacher to shame for fear they'd get expelled for it, although Alejandro didn't quite fear that as they did. No. He, Morgan, and a few collective others were the only ones too smart to expel, as they were the REAL gifted geniuses.

Morgan bowed, going back over to her seat with a devious grin on her face. The teacher stuttered as he went on to the next lesson.
