Later That Day…
Rogue was lying on her bed, just staring up at the ceiling as she thought back to her encounter with Bloom, what she said had shook her to the very core, normally believe she had it the worst but now she saw this wasn't the case, she may not be able to touch anyone like Bloom could but she could still get close to them where as Bloom couldn't and unlike her Bloom's curse could last for hundreds of years.
There was a knock at her door and Mystique entered the room, her gaze going straight to Rogue.
"So Rogue did you talk to Bloom?" she asked.
"Yeah a did" Rogue replied, the room went silent for a minute.
"And?" Mystique asked expectantly, shattering the silent.
"She isn't gonna join us" Rogue replied.
"What? Why? Didn't you tell her about what happened to you when you got your powers, how the Xmen attacked you?" Mystique asked.
"Yeah a did but she's been through more than I have, we did find common ground though" Rogue replied, never looking at Mystique.
"Oh, perfect perhaps we can use it to get her to join us" Mystique theorized.
"We both have to live and die alone" Rogue stated, her voice barely a whisper and beginning to fill with emotion, Mystique hadn't heard what Rogue had said.
"Rogue I want you to get closer to Bloom, find more common ground, see if you can convince her to join us" Mystique stated before taking her leave, leaving Rogue alone to think about what she'd been told.
The Next Day…
Bloom was standing upon the school roof, looking round in all directions and sniffing the air 'I know you're close, real close but where?' Bloom thought to herself.
"Shouldn't ya be in class?" a southern voice asked, Bloom glanced over her shoulder and saw Rogue, she had been too busy trying to determine where a certain someone was and hadn't noticed her.
"I never go to class, so you still are trying to get me to join the Brotherhood" Bloom stated.
"Na Mystique wants me ta but I don't, but yur the only person ah can relate to, even if only to a small degree" Rogue replied.
"Trust me you don't want to get close to me, here's some free advice leave me alone" Bloom replied before stepping onto the edge of the roof.
"Bloom, please would ya just give me a chance?" Rogue asked, Bloom glanced back at her, before turning away and leaping from the roof and landing on the field before heading off, continuing to sniff the air.
Meanwhile…
A woman who seemed to be in her early twenties, was standing at the edge of a forest looking down at the town of Bayville, she was blonde, muscular with an hourglass figure her body covered in blonde fur , she wore a black shirt and a leatherjacket with and ripped jeans, she had black claws and sharp fangs.
She let out a low growl exposing her fangs her pupils slightly slitting. 'I've finally found you Bloom' she thought to herself before leaping into the air, heading towards Bayville.
Back With Bloom…
School was out and Rogue had found Bloom in a secluded area of Bayville, it was filled with warehouses for demolition completely deserted of anyone else and hadn't been easy finding Bloom but she managed it.
"Bloom why did ya go here?" Rogue asked.
"Because someone I haven't seen for a very long time is here" Bloom replied, her eyes darting in all directions.
"Really how'd ya know?" Rogue asked.
"I can smell her, even if I can barely remember her but…you better leave" Bloom replied as she flexed her hands, black claws erupting from her blunt nails, Rogue noticed this.
"What? Bloom is something wrong?" Rogue asked.
"Get out of here" Bloom stated, a slight growl in her voice.
"Why?" Rogue asked, beginning to get worried.
Before Bloom could a reply a sound similar to the loud roar of a big cat was heard, it echoed throughout the street.
"She's here" Bloom growled, within seconds the figure of a feral looking woman dropped down a few metres in front of them.
"It's been a long time" she greeted with a feral voice.
"Not long enough" Bloom growled, her teeth becoming fangs and orange fur erupted on her body and her hair much like the figure before her went down to her thigh.
"Bloom who is that?" Rogue asked.
"Rogue meet my sister Daphne" Bloom spat her voice filled to the rim with venom.
"Sister?" Rogue asked growing more confused.
Daphne charged at Bloom and Bloom at her, they collided and their hands intertwined as they fought for dominance, three adamantium foot long claws erupted from both of Daphne's fists, the duo glared into each other's eyes, three metallic claws erupted from Bloom's fists and one from each foot.
Rogue just stared at the sisters, her eyes focused on their claws, the same claws Wolverine had, the same ones to use when 'he attacked her' she stumbled back.
Meanwhile…
The Professor was currently using Cerebro to see if any new mutants had discovered there powers, but he didn't find any new mutants, however, what he did find was Bloom using her powers out in the open as well as another mutant he hadn't sensed before.
"Cerebro who is this mutant Bloom is engaging combat with?" he asked.
"Daphne is known to be Bloom's sister and has similar abilities to her but little is known about her, data shows she is extremely dangerous and should be approached with extreme caution" came the reply, the Professor read further into her profile and noticed their relationship was similar to that of Wolverine and Sabretooth.
'Wolverine I feel Bloom maybe in danger, here is her location' the Professor stated telepathically. Wolverine grumbled to himself and got on his bike before setting off in direction of where the professor had said she'd be.
Back With Bloom…
The two sister released each other from their grips and leapt back, landing on their feet perfectly and sending death glares at one another. Daphne and Bloom could both see that they were equal in strength and it would be a waste of time to endure in a test of strength for much longer.
Daphne glanced towards Rogue and could see how terrified she was and that her younger sister had been very anxious for her to leave, she launched herself into the air once again only this time she went straight over Bloom and behind Rogue, who span round and began to back away, Daphne rose her right hand and shot a white beam out of her fingertips.
Bloom could see what Daphne was up to and used her speed to grab Rogue's wrist and pull her away from her older sister and didn't stop till Rogue had a good couple meters away from Daphne and let go her wrist and glared at the patch of ice on the ground which would have encased Rogue.
Rogue rubbed her wrist to rid herself of the pain Bloom's strength had caused, she froze as her eyes began to widen when she saw her wrist, it had been bare, her glove had almost come off due to the speed and strength of Bloom's fist and was now barley covering half her hand.
'She touched my skin…she should be in a coma' Rogue thought to herself slowly as she ever so slowly looked back at Bloom and saw she was unaffected by her touch.
"So resulted to using the powers we do not share huh?" Bloom questioned as she began to approach her again.
"Yes, except all the powers you have are ones I also have" Daphne replied as the two began to circle each other.
"Oh really, well you're wrong Sinister gave me a couple new abilities should you try to kill him I would be able to defend him, too bad we both left" Bloom replied mockingly.
"You're bluffing" Daphne growled.
"Oh really?" Bloom mocked as her eyes began to glow red before launching a powerful beam from her eyes, striking Daphne in the chest pushing her back, the beam stopped.
"I knew it, you forget that's one we share you can do nothing that I can't" Daphne screamed as launched her own eye beams and Bloom released her, the two collided midway, Bloom smirked, she knew this is how her sister would react and that their beams were of equal strength, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a couple coins of loose change, the coins began to glow.
Bloom used her thumb to flick the several coins at Daphne, striking her in the gut and combusting throwing her back and causing her to look up as she was knocked off her feet causing Bloom's beam to strike her in the neck and punch her through several walls, knocking down a couple warehouses in the process, Bloom stopped her beams and glared at the piles of rubble.
'That won't be enough to kill her…get up sis get up so I can finish this' Bloom thought to herself as she readied herself to continue the battle.
