Okay so I have another time jump. I tend to have those habits.
Also very briefly homecoming will be mentioned in this chapter, but not enough to have it really be a part of the plot line, since it will be after Homecoming King will be mentioned. This chapter will also run into the next chapter, and then onto Sectionals.
Anyhow, here's the chapter.

Chapter 11
-Hero-
I signed in at the visitors desk of Manhattan General since I had received news of Anna being shot last night. I was very aware that she wasn't going to die, and for that I was happy, though, I wasn't sure that she would be ready enough for Sectionals after holiday break, which was coming up.
"I would ask how you feel, but I'm guessing I already know the answer," I tell her, as she smiles when I walk in, and I guess that she wasn't expecting me, but someone else, and in my head I could guess who.
"Thanks for not asking," she tells me, as I grab something from my messenger bag, and I had no idea how she would like to see it as a gift. I wasn't the best at giving gifts, not even at Violet and Maggie's wedding, though, that was for a different reason. "What are those?" she asks me, as she seems rather curious, and brings me back to reality.
"For starters, I brought you a copy of Divergent in which is autographed by Veronica Roth herself, and the first season of Once Upon a Time, and last but not least, front row seats to see Daz's debut in Les Mis," I tell her, as I tell her as I put the gift bag on the stand beside her bed, and she smiles again.
"So your fiance did get the part?" she asks me, as someone knocks on the door frame, and I turn to see who it is. It was Jason, and I decided I would let them have their space, and I leave the answer about Daz unanswered, and get up to leave.
"I'll let you two have your space. Now get some rest," I instruct, as I get up and leave.
"Ms. Smith. Thank you," she tells me, as I'm almost out the door.
"You're welcome," I tell her, and then leave, and suddenly I had an idea for what I was going to do for this weeks assignment, the only thing was, I had no idea how the students would take it, since once again, this wasn't a book category. Then again, I realized that we haven't done that for a couple of weeks now.

-Anna-
"What was that all about?" Jason asks jokingly, as she sits down beside me in one of the chairs that the hospital had. Of course he knew, but still.
"I was shot last night, if you don't remember since you were with me," I point out, as one of the nurses comes in, and checks on me. Her name was Alexei, and I was glad that she was the same nurse that assisted me in the ER last night. Honestly, I was starting to think I had a crush on her, and no, I wasn't stupid enough to fall in love with her. She was older than I was anyways, and besides, I had to somehow figure out a way to tell Jason how I felt about him.
"Of course I remember. We cut out of Homecoming dance early, so I could walk you home. We didn't even stick around to see who won," he points out. "I guess that teaches you to walk down a sketchy back alley in Manhattan where thugs beat the crap out of some kid," he adds, as he picks up the gift bag, and looks inside.
"I wanted to help the kid, so he wouldn't end up being on the eleven o'clock news," I protest, as I meet his brown eyes.
"It's Manhattan, a shooting won't make it on the eleven o'clock news, though, it would probably make it onto an episode of Law & Order," he points out, as another nurse brings in my hospital food dinner, which was Macaroni and cheese with a side of fruit salad and a ginger ale. That's what I liked about being in the children's and teen part of the hospital. You got normal stuff.
"Olivia would kick some ass bringing me justice," I tell him, though Olivia was on SVU and not the one original L&O,and I meet his eyes again.
"So do you want to watch Once Upon a Time with me? Ms. Smith brought it in," I wonder as I grab the DVD out of the bag and show him proof that I had the DVD. He wasn't really the fantasy type, but it was a start.
"Do we have popcorn?" he asks jokingly, as he stands up to place disk one in.
"No, but we can pretend can't we?" I ask as he sits back down. Then I realized I would have rather have him be beside me on the bed. "Here come sit beside me. I have enough space," I tell him, and he listens.
"That wasn't that bad. A little confusing, but that wasn't bad," he tells me as disk one finishes, and now I knew I had to tell him how I felt.
"Can I tell you something?" I ask him serious as the DVD switches back to the main menu. It was now or never. "I think I'm in love you," I tell him before he says anything. "Matter fact, I know I am. I have been since second grade, and I've been waiting to tell you since forever ago," I tell him all at once.
Then he looks at me, and says one word. "Finally," and then leans in to give me a kiss, and one song came to mind.
You were insecure but I was so sure
But I wanted you
Yes I'm powerful, and a little girl
But I wanted you
So I told you so, wanted you to know
We've just one life to live
And I told you all my dreams and fears
And you looked at me and your eyes filled with tears
And you said those three words I'd been waiting for
You became a part of me, yeah
You're mine, for life
And I'll be by your side
We are entwined
You're mine, for life,
Hold me until we die,
I'm yours and you are mine

I searched all night for ideas as to what I could sing at Sectionals. I would work if I had a couple more people to help me out with the song. That's why, even though, I didn't want to I texted Noah, though, I wasn't sure he would be up for it.
"You are aware, I have no idea what this is about?" he asks me suspiciously.
"We have Sectionals coming up, and I was thinking we could do this song. Granted, it's a duet of two brothers, and it would be perfect. Hell, I'll even help you with the rapping," I tell him as I show him the sheet music, and then Ms. Smith walked in.
"Good after noon boys," she greets happily, and writes something on the board.
"Good afternoon Ms. Smith," we both answer her together, and then try to decide if we want to work on this together. I still did even if he didn't want to.
"Were you two working on Sectionals?" she asks, as I finally figured out that was what she had written on the board. Of course she was going to prep us for Sectionals. Then someone had come in, and asked for her, and she stepped out of the room. I tried figuring how the boy had seemed familiar.
"Hey Bran Stark, unless, you're auditioning to be the next Captain America, I'd say," I begin, and then stop myself from finishing that sentence.
"I'm not Bran Stark, and I hate Captain America, but I know for a fact I can do more than Spongebob there," he announces happily to Noah, and I wondered what beef had with Noah. I just met him five seconds ago, and I already hated this kid.
"So Bran Stark, you got a name?" I ask, as I keep eying the music sheet. We had to prep, not have a copy of the Red Wedding here in the music room, especially, with Ms. Smith here. That would probably end up being very bad.
"Yeah, it's James Burke, JB for short, and like it or not, I just became a part of this glee club since you're down a member," he points out. This was bound to interesting if he was going to keep being the jerk that he was already.
"Well JB, I was preparing this song with Noah, but per say lets see what you've got," I tell him as I hand him the music sheet, and I was hoping that he wouldn't be able to handle this.
Ahh

"Alright Bran Stark, you can keep up, but the other part still goes to Noah, he deserves it," I tell JB. I didn't like him, and that was simple enough, and then Ms. Smith walks back into the music room a couple minutes later, and then something else on the board, and I noticed that she had written Noah, and myself down underneath what she had written on the board.
"We'll see about that," he tells me as the bell rings, and we separate and head for class as well.
"Noah, we've got this, and we can show that JB kid that. Sectionals are still ours. Now I'll see in class," I tell him as I throw my backpack on and head to the Chemistry lab.

Art class. Oh how relieved I was. I pick up the paint brush, and begin to paint though I had no idea what I was going to paint, and I knew that this was going to be a big part of my grade. It was like I was stuck, and then the memory comes back. The memory of the car accident, on how my sister had died, and I had lived, and I wonder how that was. Was it because I was wearing a seat belt, and she wasn't? I would never know, and that was when I ran out of class. I had to to go the bathroom so I could think for a couple of minutes.
I had a few minutes to myself, and then headed back to class. That was when I ran into Riley Jacobs, and he could see that I had been crying.
"Want to talk about it?" he asks, though, I had guessed he had known the answer, and he smiled briefly, and then sat down in the hallway beside the bathrooms. "Or we could just sit here," he adds, as he gestures me to sit beside him.
"I have a girlfriend, you know," I point out as I sit down beside him.
"I think the whole school knows that after last night at homecoming. Michael Weston even gave up his dance as King for you two and I don't even know if Kings are supposed to do that," he tells me in attempt to cheer me up, and honestly I was glad that he was doing this, despite the fact that we never talked, and at some point I had probably been a bitch to him.
"Thanks. I guess," I tell him, and then go quiet again, as I hope that he doesn't ask me anymore questions that I wouldn't want to open up to. He wasn't a psychiatrist, and even then, I didn't want to open up to them.
"If you ever need anything. I'm here to talk, and I mean that as a friend," he tells me, as I get up, and head for class. I hold out my hand to help him up, and lose my balance, and fall into his lap, and we laugh about it.
"Shouldn't you two be in class? This hallways isn't made for make out sessions," we hear Mackenzie state as she heads for the bathroom. How long had we been out here, and I hoped that she wasn't getting at what I thought she was getting at.
"Well yes, I was just headed there, and honestly we weren't making out," I state the obvious, though, I knew she wouldn't see it that way.
"That's what they all say. I think Miley would have something to say about that, if it were to get out," she mentions as she pushes the door in to the ladies room, and I had a feeling by the end of the day word would be out.
"Just because you're still after Atticus, who obviously isn't into you, doesn't mean you can spread rumors around, but excuse me, I have class to get back to," I tell her as I head for class, in which, I doubted Mrs. Armstrong would notice I was gone. She rarely ever did.
"She's into Atticus?" Riley asks as he gets up, and starts to turn as though he was headed for class.
"Are the last person to figure that out? Everyone knows it," I tell him, and then head for class. That was also when the song that had been playing in the car when Gabriella had crashed, and I wonder why now the song had popped up.
Inside there were kissers and hits and missers
the track skipped and we joked "remix"
there were strangers and strange men when the room started jumpin'
and you tell me, "Ryan, I am so fucked up." but some guy says you're something else
what do you want me to tell you that I haven't already told you
that I haven't already told you
and even now in the deepest depths of doubt there is no other
there is no other one
who could take me downtown. you can take me out now
you're publics waiting. you're hands are shaking
but we're walking steadier straight lines
you said you said it was only a matter of a few
head to heads now it's all over
he's calling you from the next room settling down
but no matter what I say you're going to do it
and I will be the only one who can't stop thinking about it
that it won't be my name you're calling
you're still worth fighting for
and even now in the deepest depths of doubt there is no other
there is no other one
who could take me downtown. you can take me out now
you're publics waiting. you're hands are shaking
but we're walking steadier straight lines
Finally. I had an idea as to what I was going to paint. Then I also realized I would have to talk to Miley before this thing got out of hand.

-Atticus-
"Alright ladies, and gentlemen, we have our set list all together for Sectionals, also, we have a new member for the time being," Ms. Smith tells us during Impulse rehearsals. I saw that Brycen wasn't there, and I wondered why, though the way we weren't getting along lately, I guess it didn't matter.
"Other than class homework, and getting ready for Sectionals, what is our next assignment?" I ask curiously. I didn't care that we had a new member since he was only until Anna came back which would be just after Sectionals, and if we won I would take the trophy to her, since she's a part of this group.
"You have anything in mind?" Ms. Smith asks me. I was really starting to think I should keep my mouth shut, so everyone wouldn't think something else of me, so I shake my head. I had an idea, but I wasn't about to admit it to Ms. Smith.
"Anyone else have an idea?" Ms. Smith asks, as she writes down something else on the board. "Starting tomorrow we'll do two things. One artist became a phenomenon at the age of sixteen, and since then has become of the biggest country pop artists, now I can't say she's my favorite artist, but rumors and tabloids have been trying to break her for as long as I can remember," she announces. Of course she was talking about Taylor Swift, and everyone seemed happy that we were covering Taylor. Even the new kid was imitating her dance moves for Shake it Off.
"Who's the second?" I hear Miley ask, and I wondered if liked Taylor Swift, but she didn't seem happy with Katy again. Those two seriously needed to figure out what they were doing. If they were off or on.
"In 2003 they started out playing clubs, and selling EP's. Eventually in 2005 they would become an even bigger hit playing Warped Tour. Around 2006 rumors of one members bisexuality made headlines, which helped them out on their 2007 recordings. Since then they have sold out multiple shows worldwide, made MTV worth watching for about three and a half minutes. Eventually they took a little break so the lead singer could do solo projects," she told us. I had no clue who that one was, or if the facts were all correct. When she announced who it was, it had dawned on me. How could I have not known it was Fallout Boy?
"Ms. Smith, would it be possible I could go first?" I hear Noah ask. He had been so quiet lately I had forgotten he was still here.
"You can do that," Ms. Smith tells him, and I have an idea to play the acoustic guitar, and I volunteer to help.
You laughed off my affections
While I passed by your direction
I should have known from your walk, yeah
It was the end of you
It's not like I don't respect your opinion
Your quick wit lips, just rip me apart
Sometimes, it's times like this, yeah
I got a big mouth
And maybe you could handle shutting it up
A simple contradiction
Could shake my whole foundation
Parker Lewis can't lose
Taking back every step towards you
Still failing at everything I do
In the meantime just talking with my shoes
Converse with my Converse
At least they hear a word I say
And scrutinize it
Just as far as they can tell what I'm getting at
Tied my tongue around my neck
For the last time
This is the last song about you
This is the last song that I waste on you
Ms. Smith dismissed us, and we headed our separate ways. That was when someone caught up with me at the end of class. I was thinking it was Amy. Instead it was Mackenzie.
So Hero went to go visit Anna in the hospital, and it's revealed Daz got the part in Les Mis, and she told Jason how she felt. Impulse has a new member (JB, who was sent in by Fruitloop Candycanes, and is also in Rianna's story, and dating Audrie. He's portrayed by Dave Days.) Katy may be getting herself into a love triangle, and Mackenzie has met up with Atticus.
Song credits: You're Mine - Lea Michele / No Apologies - Empire Cast (Jussie Smollett & Yazz) / No Matter What I Say You're Going to Do It - the Minus Scale / Parker Lewis Can't Lose (But I'm Gonna Give It My Best Shot) - Fallout Boy.
