Callie was walking tall throughout the hospital today, with her wickedly beautiful blonde on her arm. A silly smile plastered her face, as she did her rounds. Treating each patient like they were worth a million dollars, even showing some respect towards her interns and residents. If anyone asked she would just shrug and throw them a wink over her shoulder, then would walk away with extra sway rocking against her hips. Confidence was seeping through every single one of her pores, catching every man and women's attention. She was breathtakingly stunning, even in just scrubs. Hair in tousled beach waves, make-up beautifully natural, but it was all in the way she was presenting herself to the world that made her completely and utterly sexy.

It was a new day. The sun was shining through fluffy white clouds kissing pale cheeks, a gentle breeze caressing tired bodies, re-energizing them. Callie had her wife back, slowly but surely they were getting back on track. Life was absolutely perfect to Callie. The couple hadn't gone any farther than sleeping in the same bed, or a few quick make-out sessions, but that was enough. Just having the love of your life in your arms at night, or waking up to their face was enough to keep going and keep trying.

Arizona had more pep in her step now, than she did on a daily basis, which was a lot. She really wanted to break out her wheely sneaks, but Callie convinced her that it probably wasn't the best of ideas. The blonde even tried her famous pout, but all Callie did was scoop her up in her arms and bring that cute bottom lip into her mouth and kiss it away. Causing Arizona to melt, and completely forget about the kid shoes.

It was a slow day at Grey Sloan Memorial. No real traumas, or crazy tumor cases. Even Dr. Herman planned a slow day for Arizona, only because she was getting her radiation treatment done. Knowing she wouldn't be able to be on her feet all day after that. The only thing Arizona really had to do was meet a new doctor about a Peds case Karev asked her to be on, surprisingly Dr. Herman allowed it. Heading to the Peds ward the blonde started to get a weird feeling in the pit of her stomach. Bringing her to a halt, but shrugged it off and continued on. When she turned the corner and entered the patient's room beginning to introduce herself, the blonde choked on her words, stumbling into the chairs next to the door, losing balance and falling into Alex's arms.

"Woah, there. Are you okay Arizona? Sit down.." Concern laced his voice. Except Arizona flung out of his embrace and pushed him backwards off of her. Gathering herself together, she began looking everywhere but at the other doctor in the room. Catching her breath had to be the single most difficult thing in the world right now, she didn't know what to do. She didn't know whether to act professional, or run out of the room and find Callie. 'Oh God, Callie" she thought.

She ran her fingers through her hair roughly, trying her hardest to steady her breathing. That feeling in the pit of her stomach grew intensely stronger, almost making her vomit everywhere. Swallowing all her fear and nervousness down, she walked towards the small child who was just as confused as the doctors. Looking up she finally made eye contact with the last person she thought she would ever see walking the halls of this hospital again,

"Dr. Boswell." Stating with a furious tone.

"Arizona. Always a pleasure to see you.."

After the quick introduction about the child's case, and presenting the game plan to the child's parents, Arizona all but ran out of the room in a panic. Finding the nearest on-call room and slamming the door shut behind her. There really wasn't enough air in the world to get her to breathe steadily again. The entire time Dr. Boswell talked, Arizona would hold her breath and close her eyes, hoping she would disappear when she opened them. There was a couple of times where Alex had to nudge the blonde just to get her to reengage herself. Being professional was the last thing on her mind. The only important thing was Callie. They were just getting good again, only for the world to turn on them once again and bring back the biggest problem that caused them to fall apart. She needed to get Lauren to leave the hospital, no the state, before Callie even caught a glimpse of the nightmare.

Wiping the tears that made their way down her puffy cheeks, she opened the door and walked out into the hall. Scoping out the hall, making sure nobody was watching she started her search for the woman who was most likely going to ruin everything again. Except when she got to the desk, she saw Callie standing there with a chart in her hands.

Almost feeling her wife's presence, the Latina turned on her heels, coming face to face with the blonde. The wrong blonde. Her heart dropped in her chest, the chart falling with it. The initial shock wearing off very quickly, as the anger began bubbling to the surface.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Callie yelled, stepping closer to the doctor, fists tightening.

"I'm here for a case," simply stating, while subtly taking a step back, "With Arizona.."

With that Callie swung, slapping her clear across the face. The sound echoing through the hall. Arizona came running as fast as she could to body block Callie from continuing to beat the poor girl to a pulp. The brunette's cheeks were blood red, and sweat started to gather at her brow, not even noticing her wife standing in front of her. Her blonde reached up and took Callie's face into her hands, forcing her to look her in the eyes.

"Baby, look at me.. Look at ME. She's not worth it. She. Is not. Worth it." Arizona spoke softly and directly to her wife, trying to get her to calm down.

"Okay.." Callie spoke with a threat of tears behind it. She took her wife's hands off her face and linked their fingers together. Now moving to stand in between her wife and the other woman, "Don't let me see you again. Do you understand me?" Her voice stern and intimidating.

Still holding her beat red face, "Gottcha.." Leaving the two wife's to themselves.

Callie kept her eyes glued to the woman till she was out of sight, releasing a breath she didn't know she was still holding. Arizona tightened her grip on Callie's hand, letting her know she was still there. The Latina couldn't look her wife in the eyes, instead she let go of her hand and walked the opposite way into an elevator before the door closed. Leaving Arizona alone, with all the nosey onlookers left staring.

Callie went straight to the attending's lounge and threw herself down onto the couch. Letting the last five minutes settle in. Out of nowhere tears began flooding her eyes, flowing freely down her tan cheeks. Sobbing silently to herself, wishing all these feelings would disappear. The fear of losing Arizona again to the same woman twice swallowed her heart whole. That one single fear was nearly killing her. The only person who could get rid of this agonizing feeling was Arizona, and she left her. Again.

Not only had Callie caused a huge scene that will follow them around for probably the rest of their careers, but she didn't even let Arizona explain. She walked away, assuming she screwed Dr. Boswell again. The only thing she figured she could do was give Callie her space, and wait and see if she'll come back to her. If only they had stayed in bed, wrapped up in each other's arms, this would have never happened. How could a day start so perfect only to end so badly?

The day went by terribly slow. Neither of them attempted to look for the other, or try to contact. But now it was time to go home. Arizona didn't know if she should go home, if it was even her home anymore. Deciding it was probably best to not leave Callie to her thoughts tonight, she headed towards their house.

Callie had left the hospital early, she couldn't focus on anything to save her life, let alone another human's. Knowing that Lauren was still in the hospital, she really couldn't stay any longer, palms twitching just thinking about her. She dropped Sofia off at Meredith's house to have a sleep over with Zola. Probably for the best. She didn't know how Arizona was going to react to the whole situation that was thrown down earlier that day, or if she was even going to listen to what her wife had to say. Figuring a glass of wine might do the trick, to help her calm down.

Her heart started pounding when she heard the front door open and close again. Arizona appeared in the door frame, looking defeated. The color was drained from her face, and her hair fell lifelessly from her head. Callie looked closer, and saw her wife's eyes start to fog up. Arizona walked into the main hall way and set her bag and jacket onto the chair, her hands violently shaking. Suddenly she felt strong fingers grip her hips, and Callie's front to her back. Wanting so badly to just relax into her wife but something was stopping her. Fear? Guilt? Rejection? Whatever it was vanished and anger washed throughout her body, turning around and pushing Callie away to arm's length.

"You know what? No! You don't get to do this to me, again!" Stunned by how violent her words were flying out of her mouth, "You don't get to push me away when you feel sad or mad and then expect me to just turn around and forgive you… I can't keep hating myself for not being good enough for you. I thought we passed all this!" Arizona yelled, grabbing her jacket and shoving it back onto to her arms.

"Hey, I'm aloud to feel mad when the woman who slept with my wife during a god damn power outage tells me that she's back to work with you again!" Callie screamed back.

"Key word Callie, work… And if you would've just asked me and trusted me enough to handle all this by myself, you would've known that I took my name off the case. Right before you decided to make the smart decision and assault her, I was going to tell her to leave. Then I was going to find you and tell you myself that she was here, so we could figure this out like adults…" she finished breathless. Cheeks flushed and tears running down her face. Callie sat back dumbfounded. She was right, Callie did overreact and didn't trust her enough to deal with this. It still hurt her though, and Arizona wasn't understanding where she was coming from.

"I made a stupid choice, yes. But, none of this would've have happened if you didn't cheat and tear this family apart in the first place…" Silence filled the house. Arizona's eyes going wide, and mouth dropping open. "No, wait I didn't mean it like that…" Callie said quickly once she saw the hurt wash over her wife's face. The blonde grabbed her purse and sprinted towards the door, trying to escape the hell she had walked into. "Arizona! I didn't mean it! Please do not walk out of this house! We can talk about this… Please…" her voice cracking, "I can't lose you again.." She was now rushing towards the door behind Arizona, grabbing the knob and slamming the door shut before her wife made it outside.

"Calliope… Get out of my way.." The blonde demanded.

"Please…" Callie shoved her body in between the door and Arizona, pleading her wife to at least look her in the eye. But the blonde refused, shaking her head in denial.

"Maybe Lauren will be more understanding and willing to listen to what I have to say.." Sapphire eyes met with black, and in one swift motion Arizona ripped Callie's hand off the door knob and pushed past her. Leaving her wife staring into the night, alone.

Sorry for the surprise guest! It was too good of an idea to pass up, plus they still have a lot to work through as a couple before they can be the fun, silly Calzona they used to be. Leave your thoughts and stay with me!
