The sun peaked through the curtains, tickling Callie's nose. She stretched each limb with a low tired growl, and rolled over to find that the bed was empty. Her mind was still foggy from the deep sleep, but she could still make out that their shower was going. A smile crept across her mouth as she lazily rolled herself out of bed and headed into the bathroom. Steam climbed up her body as she opened the door, making her wake up instantly. She could hear Arizona humming some tune, and saw through the glass doors of the shower, her wife shaking her cute little butt along with it. Except something else caught her eye. Gliding the door open, her mouth fell to the floor, making Arizona jump in surprise.

"Oh Jesus, Callie! You scared the hell out of me! Next time warn a girl!" Arizona screamed with a teasing smile. But then her smile faded when she saw the look on Callie's face. The blonde followed her wife's gaze to the scratches that ran along her stomach. Suddenly feeling insecure, she turned her body back around into the streaming hot water. "It's nothing Callie. Come join me?"

But Callie's heart had completely stopped beating. She saw the black bruise just above her wife's tail bone, the long red streaks down her body, and the few bite marks along the woman's collar bone. Stunned by her own actions. Word's wouldn't form, so she climbed into the shower with all of her clothes on and just stared. Arizona exhaled slowly, knowing Callie had to make amends with her. It was a little too rough for Arizona's taste, but she let Callie do it. She knew that if she really tried to stop Callie and make her look at her, her wife would've snapped out of that dark jealousy mode and stopped. Arizona had allowed Callie do all those things to her, and in the end she was okay with it. It wasn't the pain she felt that made her scared, it was the fact that Callie was lost, and she couldn't bring herself to help find her wife again. It was an experience she would never forget, and probably wouldn't recommend doing it again, at least not for now.

Callie gently traced her finger around the bruise, as Arizona turned back around to face her wife. Still not being able to look the blonde in the eyes, she bit down hard on her bottom lip letting it all sink in. The scratches weren't puffy anymore, and were a few shades lighter, but still visible. Callie could feel her heart in her stomach, making her want to kick herself. How could she have gotten so into it that she didn't even realize what she was doing to her wife? Sure, it wasn't the first time Callie had left hickeys on her wife's neck or even bite marks in places only they knew were there. But this.. This was wrong. She knew she had gone too far, and now had to make it up to her wife. A tear traveled the length of her nose till Arizona reached up and swiped it away with a quick jab of a thumb. Stilling her hand, forcing Callie to look at her.

"I'm fine baby.. Really. I'm okay." Her voice was stern and loving. It was the truth though. Physically she was fine, emotionally was another story, but right now that was the last thing on her mind. "Do you understand me? I'm okay." And with that she began stripping Callie of her soaking clothes, one by one they fell with a plop onto the floor. Placing her hands on tan hips, she brought their bodies flush together. Laying sweet kisses up the Latina's neck, and hovered in front of plump lips, waiting for Callie to close the gap.

"I hurt you…" Callie's voice was faint, "I did this," trembling fingers ran up along the red marks, "I. Hurt you.." Brown eyes finally met blue in a long stare. Instantly Callie broke hold away from Arizona and backed herself into the corner with her hands held out in front of her. Motioning her wife to stay clear of her.

"Callie, what are you doing?" Arizona said confused.

"I hurt you, Arizona. Please stay away…" Callie spoke with regret lining her voice. She was now terrified of herself. Regretting absolutely everything they did last night.

"Callie…" Arizona took a step forward, but that only caused Callie to open the shower door and run out with her face buried in her hands. "Callie!" her words echoing through the fogged up bathroom.

Arizona stood in the mirror looking at herself. A wave of emotions shot through her. The way Callie frightened herself by looking at Arizona, made the blonde's stomach do flips. Her head was pounding from getting it slammed into the door so many times. Callie had always been an aggressive lover, and it never failed to turn Arizona on to the max. Last night was different. Not only was it their first time all over again, it was done out of rage, jealousy, and hurt. Everything Callie had been feeling the past few months all came out and was hurled towards Arizona.

Arizona had called the both of them off of work today, hoping Callie would talk to her. Plus you could see a bite mark, and hickey, and she really didn't want to hear from Dr. Herman how she was a dirty girl. It was extremely funny the first time, but today would only want to make her punch Nicole in the face. Slipping one of Callie's Siesta Key sweat shirts over her head, she made her way down to the kitchen. The air in the house was chilling, making the hair on Arizona's arm stand tall. She sauntered over to the thermostat to turn the heat up, and caught Callie sitting on a swing in the back yard with the door open.

Callie's hair was still wet, and tears stained her cheeks as Arizona stood in the doorway for a few moments, thinking of some way to convince Callie to come back inside and talk to her. She knew this was a battle that she would probably lose, but seeing her Calliope that way had her choking back tears. She walked over slowly to her wife, who had her head bowed in sorrow. The blonde didn't want her to run off again, so she kept her distance.

"Please come inside before you get sick." Arizona said concerned, but she didn't even budge. "Calliope!" That caught the brunette's attention fast, it always did. "Please…" she said a little softer, "For me. Please, come inside.." Arizona pleaded.

"Okay.." Callie breathed out. Arizona held out her hand for her wife, but Callie froze and walked around the blonde keeping her eyes down.

When they made it back inside, Arizona poured herself some coffee looking towards Callie, "Want some?" she said cheerfully. The Latina shook her head gently no, and sat down at the kitchen table.

Arizona sat down slowly next to her wife, and placed a cup of coffee in front of her anyways. Coffee was second best to Arizona, and since she wouldn't let Arizona touch her, coffee would have to do.

"Thanks.." Callie whispered.

"Talk to me, Callie.." Arizona spat out, "We have to do this in order to move forward, otherwise.." her voice drifted off, thinking of the best possible way to say this, "Otherwise we're just going to end up like we always do.. Apart." Her voice straining a little towards the end.

Callie lifted her head and locked eyes with her wife, "I hurt you." She repeated.

"We've established that part," Arizona laughed out, "Sorry." Recovering after seeing the hurt in Callie's eyes.

"I'm the one who should be saying sorry.. I physically hurt you Arizona. I'm supposed to take care of you, not … this!" Pointing to Arizona's slim frame. She began scratching roughly at her cheek, a nervous habit. Then, slammed her hand down onto her thigh. Arizona swiftly took hold of Callie's hand, tightening her grip when Callie tried pulling away. A tear sprung loose from Callie's eye, "I don't deserve this, Arizona. Why are you being this way?" She said while shaking her head.

"Why? Because I'm done running Callie. Being completely honest…" She hesitated before continuing, "Last night was terrifying. You terrified me." Callie tried pulling her hand away again, but Arizona wouldn't allow it. "But I'm here. I'll always be here. No matter what you do to me.. I mean there is a line.. But Callie.. You didn't cross it!" Her voice raised a couple notches. "I love you. All of you. The bad, the good, the ugly, and the terrifying moments. Everything about you makes me fall in love with you all over each day. I can't live my life without you in it." Arizona scooted her chair up closer to Callie's so that she could cup her face in her hands, "I would gladly do it all over again, if that meant I could have you close to me again.. I can't stand you being afraid to look at me, like.. like you're going to break me. You're not, Callie. You taught me how to be strong, and how to love, and you are the reason I wake up every day and fall asleep in peace at night. You, Calliope…" Her sky blues eyes were now Deep Ocean blue, making Callie shudder.

"I should've asked you first.. I shouldn't have just taken you the way I did.. I can't even imagine what kind of pain you're in right now. And that makes me feel like the most terrible person in the world. I didn't stop to think about you. All I do is think about you! But… I wasn't then, and I hurt you.." Callie said without missing a beat. She removed Arizona's hands from her face, and leaned back in the chair, but kept eye contact with her wife. "I love you so much. I'm supposed to be the one to love and protect you. I'm supposed to make sure you are the happiest woman in the world, and I failed. I failed at being a wife. I broke vows in ways I can't begin to understand." Anger started coursing through her veins. She stood up and began pacing around the kitchen, trying to rid herself of the guilt that was quickly building. Then she stopped, and turned to face her wife, "Nobody will ever be able to love you like I can Zona… and nobody can hurt you the way I can." Her brown eyes turned black, and became glazed over. "I can't live with myself knowing that I can tear you apart like that. I think that… this might be where the end might start.." A quiet sob followed after her words.

Arizona felt like she was just hit with a boulder, fists clenching. This was not about to happen again. Not after everything they put themselves through this past week, Callie was not about to up and end it like this, "No. You don't get to do this. You don't get to decide that we are done Calliope." Now standing face to face with the brunette, "This…" waving her hand between the two of them, "This is not done. We are not done. Nor will we EVER be done. I'm not made of glass Callie.. I can handle my own. I didn't tell you to stop, what happened last night is on the both of us. If you don't want to touch me then fine!" Arizona screamed while throwing her hands up in the air, "Don't touch me. But you if you choose to stay this way.. then you can't touch me or look at me or talk to me! I will sleep in the guest bedroom every night, and leave early so you don't have to see me in the mornings. I'll make sure to never call you for a consult, or…or ask you to freaken lunch! Like a normal married couple!" Arizona's face was beat red, while all the veins in her neck began to poke out from yelling so loudly, "I am sick of you telling me you need me. Then turn around and kick me to the curb. I don't know what the hell goes through that pretty little head of yours but I am so damn tired of being second. I AM YOUR WIFE! There is nothing in this world that is going to make me love you less. I am here to stay Calliope. I am not going anywhere. So I need you…. I need you to stop pushing me away and just let me back in… Because my heart can't take much more Calliope.." The blonde was breathless, and had to sit back down before she passed out.

Callie stood there dumbfounded. She didn't know what to say after that, she didn't even know if she should move. The last time Arizona yelled at her while basically telling her she loved her, was after Callie told her she was pregnant and was hesitating to let her back into her life. It was kind of the same thing all over again. Callie then realized how far she had pushed her wife away. Almost every time they separated, Arizona was the one to live somewhere else. Callie was the one to push her away, only to change her mind and ask for her back. Finally, Callie felt everything she had been putting Arizona through and it almost killed her, right there on the spot. Suddenly, Callie turned and walked out of the room and ran upstairs.

Arizona's eyes followed Callie out of the room, then dropped to the floor. Tears stinging the back of her throat, she brought her knees up to her chest and hung her head between her legs. Callie came running back in a hurry, when she fell to the floor by Arizona's side. Looking up she saw that Callie had velvet box sitting in the palm of her hand.

"I realize that this might be silly, and stupid. But…" She slowly opened the little box revealing the same ring she gave to Arizona when they moved into the house. Arizona had given it back when she thought they were truly done. "I don't want to lose you. I'm going to work on this.. Well me.. I'm going to prove to you that I am one. I promise you, that the best is yet to come. I want us to be one again, Arizona. God, Zona.. I love you soo damn much it makes me go crazy. It makes me do the stupid things like I did last night, and it makes me weak like how I've been all morning. You are so sweet and tender, and I am so glad we found each other. I don't want my life any other way. I don't want a life at all if doesn't mean I can't have you." Callie grabbed the ring and pulled it out, holding it in front of her face, "I promise to love you and worship you from this moment on… I broke that promise, and I plan on making all this up to you… You are right about one thing, we do have things to work on. And now I know.. I know I'm ready to work on all of our problems, together. I have to gain your trust back, and that's what I plan on doing the rest of my life. Because Arizona Robbins I love you with every ounce of my beating heart and soul." Arizona couldn't believe what was happening in front of her, but she was not about to complain now. "Will you marry me? Again?" Callie chuckled nervously at the end of her speech. She felt like her heart was going to leap out of her chest at any given moment if Arizona didn't answer her soon.

The blonde dropped her feet to the floor, placing one foot on each side of Callie. She took the Latina's head in her hands and looked deeply in chocolate brown orbs, searching for any sign of hesitation or regret. All she found was love and honesty, and that was enough for Arizona to come undone right there on the spot.

"Calliope Iphigenia Torres…" She whispered just like she had the first time, sliding the ring onto her ring finger she looked up and brushed a piece of hair out of Callie's face. "I think your proposal beats mine." She teased and winked at her fiancé.

"Soooo is that a yes then?" Eyes glistening in the morning light, a smile taking over the once so sad and defeated face.

"Jesus Calliope.. Of course it's a yes!"

Callie jumped up and bear tackled Arizona into the table, then pulled back regretfully. Arizona busted out laughing, and flung herself onto Callie's lap, landing in heap on the kitchen floor. They kissed for what seemed like endless hours. They were getting married again, so why not act young and in love? Which is what they were, in love. Callie broke the kiss and lifted Arizona's head up to look at her. Her golden locks blanketing them, while her eyes began illuminating. 'This is a woman in love' Callie thought to herself, 'A woman in love with me'. Almost reading Callie's mind, Arizona rolled her eyes and playfully laid kisses all over the Latina's face, then met her gaze again.

"We're getting married."

Figured I'd throw in a fluffy ending since they've had it rough the past couple of chapters (: Let the happiness begin! (For now.) (;
