The past few weeks was amazing for Callie and Arizona. Not only had they reconnected and pushed all the bad to the side, they were beginning to act like themselves again. Callie would cook dinner, while Arizona sipped on a big glass of white wine. Their morning routine was back on track, and when the night fell nothing could hold back the love they had for each other. After their date night for almost two weeks, they continuously made love any chance they got. Before work, in the shower, a couple more times in the car, in on-call rooms, and would even have very heated make-out sessions in the scrub room before a surgery. When they got home it started all over again. Oh yeah, life was good.

Arizona's mother had left a couple days ago. Both women a little heartbroken seeing her walk out the door, not knowing when they would see her next. She stayed an extra week knowing the two needed their time together, which was greatly appreciated. Before she left she pulled each woman off to the side for a little motherly advice. Callie was the first she spoke to. The older blonde pulled Calliope into the other room by the wrist and stood incredibly close so that she wouldn't lose her gaze,

"As her mother first, I have to say this… Do not break her heart again, Calliope.." Her voice was barely audible, "I don't think she can take it again. She loves you and you love her. Stop playing games and just live and love.. Now, I do have to say being her mother also, do not let her break you either. Don't give in because you want it to work more than anything else in this world. Stand tall my love, you deserve more than you think." Callie never dropped her eyes, but swallowed hard at the woman's words. When she was done, Callie swept up the small woman in her arms and hugged her till tears were streaming down both their faces.

Walking back into the living room, Arizona neglected to look at her mother. Her heart was breaking every minute that passed, because she really didn't want her to go. She regretted pushing her out of her life so abruptly, and not talking to her when she needed her mother most. She practically hated herself for it. Mrs. Robbins grabbed her child by the arm and walked her into the kitchen, sitting her down in one of the stools at the breakfast bar while standing right in front of her. She took the blonde's face in her hands and just looked at her beautiful daughter. She was mesmerized by how much she grew into an amazing woman. Her heart as well, was breaking just as fast as her daughters was.

"Mom? Can I ask you something?" Arizona spoke up suddenly, her mother nodding her head yes. "Do you think I'm worth all this?" Waving her hand around the house and blinking towards Callie and Sofia in the living room. "I mean do I really deserve to have all this?" Her sapphire eyes dropped to the ground as she exhaled. Her mother didn't say anything, she just wrapped her arms around Arizona's neck and brought her impossibly close. Arizona could hear the older woman's heart beating in her fragile chest. Slowly, closing her eyes and relaxing in her mother's warmth. Barbara began running her skinny fingers through sun kissed blonde waves, as she rocked her daughter from side to side. It was the only way Arizona knew her mother was there, and would always be right there for her. A tear escaped from a puffy eye, and soaked into her mother's blouse.

"You, Arizona, deserve the world." She lifted Arizona's head and held it again gently, "And guess what?" The blonde sniffled and raised her eyebrows, "Your world.. is closer than you think." Stepping to the side to let Arizona see Callie holding Sofia on her hip dancing to the music on the television. The younger blonde wiped the tears away and smiled, letting her dimples pop out. Her world, right there in her living room.

"I love you, mom."

"I love you too."

Saying her last goodbye to Sofia, she headed out the door to her cab and was gone in a blink of an eye.

Later that night as Callie was making dinner, Arizona came and stood in between the Latina and the counter, just staring.

"I can feel you looking at me." Callie stated as she flipped over the chicken. Arizona moved to close the space, as she placed light kisses down Callie's shoulder, making shivers run down her spine.

"We need to talk about something Calliope." Her voice had a sexy tone, turning Callie on.

"Oh really?" Callie turned to face Arizona. Kissing her nose gently, "About what my love?"

Arizona gave her a super magic smile with a sly wink and continued, "When are you going to marry me again?"

Callie couldn't help but pin the blonde up against the counter top. Brushing their lips together while pushing her knee in between Arizona's thighs. The blonde licked her lips and nipped at Callie's bottom lip when she pouted seeing Arizona's tongue slip out. Callie swallowed a moan, trying to collect her thoughts. "I planned the last one, now it's your turn."

"Calliope.." She breathed out when the Latina pressed her leg into Arizona's center. Her hands flew to grinding hips, "I can't think when you do that.." She brought her bottom lip into her mouth and closed her eyes when Callie moved her lips to Arizona's neck, then back up over her jaw line. "Callie stop.. I want.. to talk about this…" Next thing she knew Callie was back at the stove, leaving the blonde breathless and aroused. "I hate you.."

"You were saying?" Callie said sarcastically, throwing a wink to her wife.

"I was thinking that we should just do it in the hospital's Chapel.. just me and you.." Her voice drifted off as blush began developing along her cheek bones. "It's not like we can just go to any church and recite our vows.. I know that's how you wanted it in the first place. I think that's our best shot. A church for you and just you for me." A smile overtaking her face.

Callie turned back around with wide eyes. Her heart practically leapt out of her chest hearing Arizona's idea. She was right, being in a church with a real pastor was one of Callie's dreams for her wedding. When it didn't happen she was devastated and almost didn't go through with the wedding. Seeing Arizona's eyes light up at the same time, almost made her heart burst with love. If it wasn't for dinner and Sofia, Callie would have taken Arizona there this instant to do it.

"I think…" Slowly moving towards the blonde, "You are amazing.." Setting her hands on Arizona's rib cage, "And I love you…" Griping her harder, "And I will do anything for you.." Lifting the blonde up onto the counter top and placing herself between her legs, "I would marry you anywhere. At any time. Because.." Running her lips against the blondes, "All I want is you." Finally, she laid a passionate kiss on awaiting lips, pouring every ounce of her love into the blonde.

Arizona placed her small hands against Callie's cheeks, leaning their foreheads together. They both took in a long deep breath and smiled. "When should we do it?" Arizona asked softly.

"Saturday? I don't have any major surgeries to do, and if Dr. Herman decides to hammer you with a few then we can do it before we come back home." Brown eyes began sparkling with love.

"Sounds like a date." Arizona ran her fingers through dark hair and pulled Callie in for one last kiss. "I think your chicken might be burning.." She said against plump lips. Callie broke from her hold fast, and turned the stove off. Thankfully able to salvage what was left for dinner.

They ate dinner in a comfortable silence, then got Sofia ready for bed. Both exhausted from the long week of back to back surgeries and all the love making. Tonight they would cuddle up and fall fast asleep in their loves arms easily and tenderly. Arizona climbed into bed last, tangling her body with Callie's. She placed sweet kisses in the nape of the Latina's neck and sighed heavily, "I'm so glad we didn't decide to get an actual divorce."

Callie's eyes widened as she loosened Arizona's grip from her body. Rolling over and sitting up on her elbows she peered into confused blue eyes, "Umm.. I need to tell you something, Arizona." The blonde's heart began thumping in her chest as she moved into a sitting position back on her side of the bed and nodded for Callie to continue. "Do you remember when I gave you that file with a whole bunch of paperwork in it? And told you not to worry about it till later?" Arizona was at a loss of words, so she shook her head yes. "I lied. It wasn't for work. But all day I felt like I was stomping on my own heart, and thought that if there was a chance we could work… So I took it back and threw the file away.." Callie couldn't even look Arizona in the eye at this point, and her face fell.

"Callie? What was in the file?" She asked sternly, afraid of what the answer might be.

"I need you to know that I regretted it the second I gave them to you. I hate myself for even thinking that was a solution.." Callie was stalling, making the blonde very irritated.

"Callie.."

"They were divorce papers…" Her voice was faint, and she hoped Arizona heard her wrong. She knew that it could possibly set them back a few steps, but Arizona needed to know before they went to the Chapel on Saturday. She lifted her head to see Arizona's mouth slightly parted. Her eyes no longer illuminating the room as they always did. Callie began reaching over to grab the blonde's hand, but Arizona pulled away and scooted farther from her. "Arizona…"

"Don't…" She couldn't believe after everything they went through and talked about that Callie never had the slightest intention of even telling her if she never asked about it. What hurt more was the fact that Callie lied to her, and didn't trust Arizona enough to know.

"Arizona.. Don't do this.. I took them back and now look at us.." She pleaded, trying to get Arizona to at least look at her, but in this situation that was practically impossible.

"I.." Arizona shut her eyes and shook her head. Her entire body falling limp from shock. "I'm going to sleep." She laid down facing the opposite way, leaving Callie to herself for the night. The brunette didn't know what else to say or do. She figured trying to force Arizona to talk would be worse than letting her come out with it on her own. So she too laid back down, facing the blonde, watching her till she knew Arizona was asleep. Arizona lied there confused, hurt, and angry, as she felt the heat of Callie's eyes on her.

Neither one would be getting the sleep they so desired that night.

Sorry for the late update. I was very busy this weekend! I might post an A/N tomorrow because I feel the need to explain some things to people, that is too long to say at the end of a chapter. But, I will also update a chapter as well. Hope you liked, Comment!
