Callie lied awake almost all night, thinking about Arizona. She missed her touch, her smell, her smile, her hair, her fingers, the cute freckles on her back, her legs, her laugh, the way she got annoyed so easily, her pout, her piercing blue eyes, the look she gave Callie when she was over exaggerating, everything. Callie missed being able to explore every inch of Arizona's body slowly, not having to speed things along. This is what she thought about all night, Arizona. Obviously, she's been the only thing on her mind for weeks, but tonight was different. Arizona was awake, and Callie was able to make her smile and laugh, even if it was for a second. Arizona wasn't the same person, but Callie was quickly gaining hope and confidence. She knew she could bring her wife back, and she knew that they were going to finish what they intended to do the night of the accident.

The next morning, Arizona woke up with a jolt. Sweat covering her entire body, and hands shaking violently. The monitor next to her slightly beeping louder than normal, as a nurse opened the door without knocking. She hated the fact that anyone could basically come into her room at any moment. The only person she felt slightly okay with coming in any time was Callie, but even then it still annoyed her. She covered her eyes with her right hand, and took a deep breath. She had only been out of her coma for two days now, but at least once during a nap or at night, her sweet dreams would erupt into a terrifying reminder of why she was in this hospital bed in the first place. Her heart wouldn't stop pounding and it was beginning to make her chest hurt. On top of that she had a wicked headache coming. She sighed hoping the nurse would make it quick so she could be alone again.

A few hours later, Arizona became a little irritated. It was about eleven o'clock, and Callie hadn't been by to see her. Which really wasn't that big of deal, but she was bored and wanted someone to talk too. At least that's what she kept telling herself. She had basically screamed at the nurse earlier, scaring the young girl to death. Arizona also told her to not let any visitors come in today. She was feeling like crap, and only wanted to be left alone. Although for about an hour now, she couldn't stop thinking about Callie. Not that she was thinking about her in a romantic way, because she didn't like women. No, no, no Arizona Robbins was as straight as they came. But damn, was Callie hot. You could get lost in her eyes for days, and her smile could send you back decades. Arizona shook her head and rolled her eyes, this is not happening. If she wasn't in that damn bed, she would prove how straight she really was. When she first moved to Seattle, she treated herself to a little more than her fair share. She owned all the male nurses in the hospital, so why was she thinking this way about a woman all of a sudden? And why did that woman have to be the one she supposedly lived with and was best friends with? She looked back up at the clock and became incredibly annoyed. What was the point of Callie staying the night at the hospital if it wasn't for Arizona? A chuckle tickled her throat, 'Duh Callie works here.' Nodding her head and happily agreeing with that knowledge, she reached over and grabbed the medical journal from the night stand and began reading it.

Callie opened her eyes to a very dark room. She had completely forgotten to open the blinds slightly so that she would wake up when the sun started to peak through. Groggily shifting her weight to the left side, she grabbed her phone and clicked it on. Suddenly flinging herself up into a sitting position and sliding her shoes back on, she booked for the door and ran to the nurse's desk. Out of breath, Callie grabbed Arizona's chart and scanned it quickly. Relaxing when she saw nothing happened during the night, but she saw that Arizona's heart rate was up at an alarming rate when she woke up. That made Callie furious. She snapped her head up at the nurse and glared.

"What?" the younger woman asked, not really caring.

"Why didn't anyone page me this morning? You should have paged me when this happened! You're not going to be her nurse anymore. Actually, you shouldn't be a nurse at all…" Almost bringing the poor girl to tears, and warm hand sat on her forearm turning her around. Getting ready to snap again, she quickly changed her tone of voice when she realized who it was. "Oh, Dr. Webber.." She began a nervous laugh but stopped when he gave her 'that' look.

"If you haven't noticed yet, Dr. Torres is a little stressed. Don't mind her." Directing his comment at the nurse. "As for you, if you would read the entire chart like I taught you, you would've noticed that it dropped back down after a few minutes. Nothing to be worried about." He gave Callie a reassuring smile.

"Wait why do you know that?" She asked reading exactly what he had told her.

"She may be your wife, but she is one of the best surgeons I have ever come across… When she came to Seattle, she didn't have a lot of people on her side. But I was." He was being sincere and more open than he expected to be.

Callie laughed, "I heard you fought her for Bailey with robots. Doesn't sound like you were on her side then?"

He smiled and looked up, reminiscing, "She's extraordinary, and I hate seeing her back here like this."

"Me too…" Callie slid her chart with the rest and leaned up against the counter, crossing her arms over her chest. "I have to start all over.. again." Her voice was quiet. Richard looked at her and set his hand on her shoulder for a minute then walked away. That was his way of telling them everything will be okay without words. Somehow it always lifted a small load off of their shoulders.

Callie started walking towards Arizona's door, when the nurse spoke up again with her school girl attitude seeping through, "Uhh, she doesn't want any visitors today." Callie closed her eyes and slowly turned her body around. The nurse had her eye brows raised, but they quickly went back down seeing the pissed off look on Callie's face.

She didn't bother with knocking, thinking that Arizona would probably be napping right now. Arizona closed her eyes, let out a loud groan and threw her magazine onto her lap. "What the hell did I tell you?"

"Well, I believe the last thing you told me was Good night." Callie said incredibly amused.

"Oh thank god.. I'm sorry that nurse out there is a pain in my ass today." She said apologetically.

"Tell me about it. I told her she was a terrible nurse. And that she should basically quit at her life." She said laughing out loud, while taking her usual spot next to her wife.

Arizona threw her head back in complete bliss, "I'm glad I won't be the reason she does!" They both continued giggling while wiping the tears away and clearing their throats. "I'm beginning to realize why we were such good friends.." Arizona said still laughing a bit.

Callie let out a breath and lowered her head, "Are."

"What?" Arizona asked.

"We ARE good friends.. I'm still here." Callie grew bold and took hold of Arizona's hand. She could feel the blonde tense up from her touch, but she didn't care. She needed this, if only for a moment, she needed it. Just as she started to move her hand, Arizona's fingers tightened. It only lasted a couple seconds, but it made Callie's heart flutter. "Can I test you?"

"Test me?" Arizona removed her hand, and widened her eyes.

Callie laughed and leaned back into the seat, "To see what you remember. Tell me about your husband." Even though she didn't want to ask, it kind of amused her to think Arizona believed she was straight.

Arizona rolled her eyes and sat the bed up. "Really? This is what you're going to test me on?" Callie just nodded her head and smiled. "You're really going to make me do this. Ugh, okay. Well, first he's my EX- husband, and his name is Carter Thomas." She stopped and looked at Callie.

"Go on.." Callie propped her arm on the arm rest and traced her bottom lip with her pointer finger, listening intently.

Arizona swallowed hard and continued, "He uhh.. he has dark hair and brown eyes. He was a lot stronger than he looked, which always made me laugh when he picked me up. He loves to cook, and loved to think he was such a bad ass." She started giggling thinking about the man. "Oh! I don't know why I think it's still cute but I loved it when he would get focused on something, because he would bit his bottom lip. It was sexy…"

Callie shifted in her seat and tried to hold back her laughter. This was a lot more fun than she thought. "It was sexy, huh?"

"Yeah, he was sex on legs.. But that was short lived, and now we're divorced." Arizona closed the magazine that was still on her lap and threw on the night stand. "Did I pass?"

Callie drew in a long breath, she reached behind her head and pulled the pony tail holder out of her hair, letting it fall loosely around her picturesque face. "I suppose." Callie said with a playful tone.

Arizona couldn't take her eyes off Callie. It was like they were glued to her beautiful face permanently. She couldn't believe how one person can become so radiant with one simple move. Clearing her throat that suddenly got extremely dry, "You suppose?" Still not dragging her eyes away just yet.

"So far you're right about everything. But I feel like you're holding back a little." Callie finished with a cock of her head and a wink.

"What do you want to know and I'll tell you. We have all day, so shoot." She couldn't help but fire back playfully, it was kind of fun.

"Hmmm.." Callie pretended to think long and hard but she already knew what she was going to ask. "Tell me about the sex. You used to brag all the time about it, so let's see if that has changed any." She ended with a quick nod of her head. Callie crossed her legs slowly, preparing herself just in case new Arizona wasn't shy about this type of talk.

The blonde looked away and debated on which words to use, but her brain was completely mush right now with the goddess sitting next to her. "Mmm.. it was.. mind blowing.. earth shattering.. He liked to be rough, to show me how dominant he could be. Which made me soo.. oh god." She swallowed and wanted so badly to cross her own legs, but the damn braces. "The things he could do with his tongue… And those hands could make you come right there on the spot. It didn't matter where we were at, if he wanted me, he had me. But he could be gentle too. Sometimes we would explore each other's bodies without actually getting each other off… I would've stayed with that man just for the sex." She shrugged her shoulders and waited for Callie to say something.

The Latina just stared at Arizona, her eyes growing darker with each word that came out of that pretty mouth. Callie had to get up and walk around just to get her out of the trance Arizona put her under. "Okay. You passed." She stood at the end of her bed and placed her hands on her hips.

Feeling accomplished, Arizona literally patted herself on the back, making the both of them laugh. "Do you want some lunch? I'm starving." Arizona asked, while reaching for the phone. Really just so Callie would stay longer.

"Eww, don't order the hospital food. Let me just run down the road and get some pizza." Callie grabbed her purse, and kissed Arizona on the head. She didn't even notice what she did, but Arizona sure noticed. It sent chills down her spine, and made her lose her breath, but she sat paralyzed. Callie turned around and saw the frozen look on her face. Clenching her teeth, she tried to play it off. "It's just nice to see you back.."

Arizona softened and went along with it, "Yeah? Well since it's so nice, I want pepperoni on my pizza!" She threw Callie her best dimpled smile, hoping it worked on her friend like it did on everyone else.

"Like I would get anything else?" Callie scoffed and rolled her eyes playfully heading out the door.

As Callie was walking down the street she began to go over everything Arizona told her. It was pretty funny to see how active Arizona's imagination was, but it felt familiar. It was like a truck ran her over and god brought her back to life. Carter Thomas? Callie Torres. The man supposedly had black hair and brown eyes, so did Callie. He liked cooking, and she also brought up the lip biting thing that she thought was incredibly sexy when Callie did it when she got focused. And the sex.. She now knew why it turned her on so much. The sex on legs man in Arizona's dream, was Callie. The brunette practically jumped in the air when this revelation hit her. A permanent smile was plastered on Callie's face, and for the first time in weeks, she walked tall. With this knowledge, and fresh pizza she was going to have some fun with this…

I kept my promise! So that you don't think I'm going to drag this on, I'm pretty positive Arizona is going to go home in the next chapter. It'll be a slight time jump, so don't freak out. Thank you for reading Lovelies (:
