This was actually a story challenge from Carri Sylver (yes, Skylaar Arrow FINALLY got an account, whoohoo! ^0^). Disclaimer! I don't own Gravity Falls, or Dipper would be older and Grunkle Stan would be super buff.

Enjoy!

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"Are we there ye-"

"DOES IT LOOK LIKE WE'RE THERE YET?"

"I don't know, does it look like I can see if we're there yet?"

The car honked multiple times as Rix's forehead met the steering wheel.

They parked into the motel parking lot, Matthew hooking his and Rix's backpacks over his shoulder. "Hey, Danny, why don't you wait outside while Miss Mechanic and I get our stuff?" he suggested. The blind raven-haired boy rolled his eyes as he stepped out of the car.

"I'll let you two lovebirds be while I go find the lobby," he muttered, and another honk echoed throughout the parking lot.

"DANIEL RILEY FATOM, I AM THIS CLOSE TO MURDERING YOU-"

He stepped out of the car before she could throttle him.

Danny felt around, "scoping the scene" as everyone else called it. He almost had a grasp on where the office was when-

"Hey there, kid."

He spun around, feeling around in front of him. He felt long hair, rough shirt. Flannel?

"Whoa, there. Stop touching me, it's weird. Oh, wait...can you see?"

Danny scowled. "Do I look like I can see?"

The voice moved again, and he got the feeling she (it sounded female) crossed her arms. "Just making sure. I'm Wendy, by the way. Nice to meet you. What's your name, kid?"

"Danny. Nice to meet you too."

"Sweet. Are you guys new or something? I don't think I've ever seen you before."

Danny fixed his sweatshirt. "Yeah, we're staying for the summer. My friends brought me over because I haven't been going out lately," he replied. Rix and Matthew had decided to offer him over to Matthew's cabin up in Gravity Falls, Oregon, since he hadn't stepped outside for anything in over seven months.

"Really? That's awesome, 'cause we don't see tourists ofte-"

A new voice whistled at Wendy. "Hey, Wendy! C'mon, Dipper's been calling forever!"

"Wait up! Aw well, I'll see you later, Danny," Wendy said, and he got the feeling she was waving goodbye as she jogged away.

He smiled as he heard the growl of a golf cart engine start up and tear away.
