A/N: Yes, tis I, Edward de Lioncourt back from the grave. I am terribly sorry for neglecting my fanfictions! I promise I will try to keep on them! I will also try to make this chapter long for you so that you guys will love me again. This will be mostly a Legolas chapter because it's what will slowly bring this story together.

Chapter Two:

Secrets

"Bring me the girl who bares the marks of rejection…"

"Rejection?"

"She does not belong in our world. She is the one who cost me everything…"

"I need a name."

"A human mortal that looks like a man but tis a woman. The name gifted to her -"

"Yes, master?"

"Jessica."

"How shall I find her?"

"Gondor."

"Yes, master."

Gondor

"Welcome home my child," chimed Denethor as he descended the stairs of Minas Tirith. "What do think of the new and improved Minas Tirith?"

"It looks amazing! Nothing like before," Jessica answered.

"Tell me…" Denethor started, wrapping an arm around the woman's shoulder to steer her in the direction of the castle. "Where have you been? My poor son has been beside himself with boredom. You definitely gave him a run for his strength."

"Father," Boromir growled.

"I'm sorry. We went home…" Jessica said as Denethor stopped, turning her to face him with a most humorous expression on his face. "What?"

"Never before have I seen you so…" Denethor started glancing Jessica's body up and down. Taking in her tight skinny jeans and tight tank top. "Lady like?"

"Nice choice of words, father," Faramir laughed.

"You look beautiful," Boromir chimed in.

"It's been sixteen years. I grew up," Jessica snorted.

"Aragorn and Arwen will be most pleased to hear of your return," Denethor stated. "Will you be traveling to Mirkwood to meet Aragorn or Rivendell to meet Arwen?"

"Neither. I need to find out if Indi and Kristy came here as well," Jessica commented.

"Always the general before the lady," Boromir said, wrapping his arm around the girl's waist to pull her toward him and away from his father.

"I will have messengers sent to Rivendell, Mirkwood and the Shire in search for Indi and Kristy," Faramir stated.

"Boromir, I think it would be wise to take her to Mirkwood immediately," Denethor advised, moving to pull Jessica into an embrace. His eyes moving over the still lightly visible scars she had received when last she was here.

"Yes, father. I will send word when we decide to return," Boromir confirmed. Pulling Jessica toward the stables he could not help but wonder how long she or the others, if they were here, would be staying this time.

Mirkwood

"Shane what are we going to do?" Serena cried out in her chains as she starred at her brother across the way from her sitting silently looking at the high window between them.

"I don't know…" Shane whispered his eyes serious as he clearly was thinking of some way out of this.

"Where are we?" Serena whimpered, tugging on her wrists in hopes that the chains would break free magically.

"I don't know…" Shane sighed as he continued to look around at his surroundings, listening carefully to the sounds around him.

"Who was that guy?" Serena ranted still jiggling her chains.

"Serena! Shut up! I can't think with you whining!" Shane shouted turning his angry crystal blue eyes onto his sister.

"At least I'm worried about what is going to happen to us! Have you ever seen those shows on ID? This is how people die!" Serena hissed in anger.

"What?" Shane asked.

"A channel dedicated to kidnapping, murders, crimes? There are cults out there that kidnap young teens and sacrifice them to their gods!" Serena answered.

"Serena, listen to me." Shane ordered. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you."

At this precise moment the door decided to swing open and entered the three men that took them captive. The taller blonde male coming forth while the other two stood back with large grins on their face.

"Oh my god!" Serena hissed. "It's coming. They are going to take me!"

"Serena! Shut up!" Shane hissed.

"Serena," The male said coming to kneel in front of the young girl. Blue eyes rose to meet blue eyes, Aragorn could not help the smile that creased his face as he looked at the mirror images of his friend chained to the wall.

"Who are you?" Shane called from the other wall.

"Prince Legolas of Mirkwood," Legolas answered.

"Who?" the twins questioned.

"This ring…" Legolas stated as calmly as possible, reaching for Serena's hand to point to the ring she wore. "Where did you get it."

"I told you. My mother gave it to me when I was little," Serena said.

"Your mother?" Legolas questioned with narrowed eyes.

"She said it was a gift from our father," Shane answered hoping to turn the attention to him instead of his sister since the man seemed confused about the origin of the ring.

"Your father?" Legolas questioned his eye hardening. "Where is he?"

"Off in war," Shane and Serena answered. Instantly the elven prince rose to his feet in sheer anger as he turned to his friend who were holding their heads in the hands.

"Your mother…" Legolas hissed through clenched teeth. "What is her name?"

"Why should we tell you?" Shane questioned as the elf turned angry eyes to the young man. Aragorn choosing this moment to come forward.

"What is the name of your father?" Aragorn asked hoping they would get the answer before Legolas had a mental break down and possible destroyed his whole palace out of anger.

"W-we don't know…" Serena whispered.

"You don't know the name of your father?" Legolas questioned his brow furrowing.

"She never told us. He left before we were born," Shane answered.

"She gives the children she bore for another man my ring!" Legolas shouted turning to leave the room in anger. Aragorn lowered himself to one knee in front of the young girl who was on the brink of tears.

"He was once a good friend of your mother…" Aragorn explained while her unlocked the chains, Gimli moving to unlock the chains of her brother. "He is hurting."

"P-please don't kill us," Serena cried.

"You are not going to come to any harm. This was a misunderstanding," Aragorn soothed. "Our kingdoms are coming close to another war and we have to be on guard. We thought you may be spies."

"War? Spies?" Shane questioned.

"Aye," Gimli confirmed. "Something dark and sinister is brewing over Mordor again."

"Mordor?" the twins questioned.

"I'll take you to my rooms. Do you think your mother came here as well?" Aragorn questioned as they opened the dungeon's door.

"She better hope she gets sent back before I find her," Legolas hissed from across the hall, glaring at the children his love created with another. He could not help the ping of jealous that sparked to life inside his chest. Those were suppose to be his children…his daughter wearing his ring as he and Jessica lived their lives happily.

"He is very dense," Gimli laughed as he lead the teens away for Aragorn to attempt to soothe his injured friend.

Rivendell

Everyone watched as Elrohir broke out into a mad dash for the human girl, sweeping her up into his arms and twirling her into the arm. Arwen smiled happily at the reunion or her brother and soon to be sister in law.

"Welcome home," Elladan commented though it fell on deaf ears.

"If she is here, the others must have come too. The anniversary is today that means the portal must have opened to allow them back to us," Arwen commented to her father.

"So…all three are back…" Elrond sighed.

"Mother?" Eldarion questioned. "Who is this?"

"Your aunt," Elladan responded as Elrohir pulled Kristy into what was meant to be a passionate kiss but Kristy quickly evaded.

"I have never heard nor met her before. How could she possibly be my aunt?" Eldarion questioned.

"It's a very long story, my son. One I will tell you when your father meets us here," Arwen stated.

"You guys have a child?" Kristy questioned.

"It has been sixteen years," Arwen laughed.

"They have several," Elrohir whispered in her ear, pulling the girl in a tight embrace. Kristy instantly broke from the twin and rushed Arwen. Hugging the elf that was more than family to her happily.

"That is amazing! I hope they can meet Jessica's kids!" Kristy exclaimed.

"Jessica has kids?" Arwen questioned.

"Yeah, twins. Sixteen too" Kristy answered as tension set out between the elves. "What?"

"Who is the father?" Elladan asked.

"This is why you don't fall in love with humans. They never remain loyal to their companions. The moment they are distanced they falter and stray," Elrond sighed moving to go into the halls of Rivendell.

"What do you mean? It's Legolas of course…" Kristy stated.

"Thranduil will be so pleased to hear this," Elrond whispered looking to the skies. "Is our races doomed to be united with this family?"

"Your just so lucky I guess," Kristy chimed.

"Elladan, saddle a horse and take her to Mirkwood. Legolas will want to hear the news of his growing family before he is to choose a bride by the full moon," Elrond ordered. "I am sure Thranduil should be prepared for this."

"The group unites again! Just in time for war!" Elrohir chimed.

"War?" Kristy questioned.

"I'll fill you in on the horse ride," Elladan answered as they made their way to the stables.

Shire

"I need to find the others," Indi stated as she settled into Baggin.

"Of course. We can set out tomorrow," Frodo said.

"I don't need you to stop your life to come with me," Indi said. "Plus there is not evil right since Sauron was destroyed."

"True, but it would be nice to get on the road," Frodo answered truthfully.

"Where should we start?" Indi asked.

"Well if you landed here like you did sixteen years…" Frodo started.

"They probably did too!" Indi answered.

"Agreed," Sam interrupted. "When do we live?"

"In the morning," Frodo responded.

"Rivendell?" Indi asked holding out her mug.

"Rivendell!" the hobbits cheered.

"Where are Merry and Pippin by the way?" Indi asked.

"Probably getting into trouble," Sam answered.

"Are you even allowed out Sam? You have a family now," Indi commented looking out the window as said hobbit made their way up to the front door.

"Frodo's requires protection and I, Sam Wise, will make sure he is protected," Sam answered as the door opened. The room was filled with Merry and Pippin laughing, their eyes moving to Frodo and Sam.

"Hey there," they called as they moved to Indi.

"Hey there," she greeted.

A/N: Thank you two my lovely reviewers! Let me know if you hate this chapter! I am debating which direction I would like to go. The next one should be much longer because it will contain the new threat as the group attempts to reform!
