A/N I was feeling in a good mood so here is the next chapter as well.
Chapter 6
Lauren sashayed into the room like she still owned the place with a guy he assumed was her boyfriend, looking every bit the same, Kaylie and Austin were hand in hand and he was still wearing his sunglasses, Kelly was chatting to Jordan Randall.
"Oh dear god" sighs Sasha has every drama he'd been trying to avoid this time around waltzed into the gym.
"Surprise" smiles Payson.
She runs down the stairs and flies into her friends arms and is instantly mobbed by them.
Sasha follows her down shaking his head.
"God Sasha you look older" says Lauren.
"The charmer as always how's the heart?" he asks.
"Good, in more ways than one" she smiles looking at her boyfriend the way he'd never seen her look at anyone.
"I'm Jake, it's nice to meet you Lauren's told me a lot" he says holding out his hand.
Sasha shakes it as he thinks back to Lauren's spotty and drama filled dating history.
Kaylie came forward and hugged him and Austin shook his hand.
He smiles as his eyes move to Kelly now sporting a short hair style and looking nothing like the bitch who had marched into his gym only to have her arse kicked by Payson.
"So this is the famous Rock" says Jordan looking around.
"That it is" nods Sasha.
"It's nice" smiles Jordan.
"Thanks we try" smiles Payson.
"Is she coming?" asks Payson turning to Kaylie.
"She said she would, I hope so" replies Kaylie.
"Who?" asks Sasha.
"I guess that would be me" says a voice Sasha recognised.
Turning he saw Emily stood in the doorway, stood behind her is Damon holding onto a toddler.
"Em, you came" smiles Payson walking forwards and pulling Emily into a tight hug.
"It's good to see you Payson, congratulations on everything" smiles Emily.
Damon walks up and Emily takes the little girl out of his arms.
"This is Maddie" smiles Emily.
"Hello Maddie" smiles Payson.
The entire group descends then exchanging this and that and once they're all deep in conversation Emily walks up to Sasha.
"Can we talk?" she asks.
"Of course we can" he replies.
They walk into the hallway.
"I just wanted to say I'm sorry I ran out the way I did, how I handled things wasn't very sensible, but despite everything I wouldn't change a thing, I love Maddie and I love Damon, I never had the right attitude to make it to the Olympics, but none of it was your fault Sasha" she says.
"I don't blame you and if things worked out then that's good for you" he smiles.
They walk back inside and re-join the conversations.
As the group disperse around the gym reliving old memories or showing people around Payson comes and stands next to Sasha, "told you it wasn't your fault" she says.
"Okay you were right" he admits.
"Ha, I knew I'd finally get you to admit it" she smiles,
"Thank you though Payson it's good to see for myself that Emily is happy" smiles Sasha.
"Well she is and Maddie is so adorable" smiles Payson.
"Something tells me she's going to be a lot like Emily" says Sasha.
"I agree" nods Payson.
The next day they return and work with some of the other gymnasts who can barely believe they get to meet the best gymnasts in the USA.
"How long are they staying?" asks Sasha.
"Lauren is up visiting her dad for a week, Austin and Kaylie are leaving tomorrow he's got a photo shoot and she's got a talk show appointment, Emily's heading out tomorrow as well, Damon has a gig, Kelly's sticking around for a few weeks, she's staying with me while Rigo's away, and Jordan is heading out tomorrow with Austin and Kaylie and me well you're still stuck with me" smiles Payson.
"Stuck isn't quite the word I'd use" he replies.
"Good to know" laughs Payson.
She walks over to where Austin is stood next the beam.
"Reliving fond memories like when you nearly castrated yourself?" she asks brightly.
"This beam does have a lot of memories, like one Payson Keeler, sex goddess" he smirks.
Payson covers her face with her hands blushing.
"I still cannot believe I did that" she admits.
"Well it was good, you really did look good up there" smiles Austin.
"Yeah and I seem to remember you asking me what turned me on before trying to get me to make cat noises on the floor" she laughs.
"Hey it worked" argues Austin.
"Okay maybe it did" she nods.
"So does Rigo get Payson sex goddess?" teases Austin.
"Sometimes" smiles Payson as she thinks back to the Salsa club.
"You seem happy Payson, that's good" smiles Austin.
"So do you, despite everything" smiles Payson.
"I am, I love her" he says looking at Kaylie chatting to Kelly.
"And she loves you" replies Payson.
Sasha stands leaning against the railing having heard Payson and Austin's conversation, he'd been told about Darby swapping their routines around, and despite Payson's stern I hated it reply, he had an inkling she'd actually enjoyed it.
Eventually the group went their separate ways, with goodbyes for those leaving and see you tomorrows for those who weren't.
A/N This one was kind of a way to introduce the member of the old gang I'm pulling into my story, and I wanted Sasha and Emily to resolve everything since Sasha always felt so guilty, reviews are really appreciated :)
