Things were looking good for the number one knucklehead ninja he wore his usual orange tracksuit but this time he had on a short sleeved red coat with fire patterns on the hemline, on his back was a giant scroll. Naruto sighed in content as he patted his tummy that was bulging full with ramen.

Sasuke shifted his eyes to his best friend, the young Uchiha had on a sleeveless dark grey shirt with dark pants. Around his waist was a purple rope belt tied in a bow the carried his sword. On his wrists were bandaged under which he wore special armbands with seals that stored various shuriken. He mumbled 'Dobe' under his breath. With his sharp hearing Naruto heard him and stood up & tried to look as looming a possible "What did you call me, teme?!"

The younger Uchiha merely rolled his eyes and focused his attention on the Sannin beside him before asking questions about the type of jutsu he knew. Sasuke was interested in his skills and secretly envied that Naruto not only trained with a Sannin, but his father was Hokage – therefore making his possibilities endless. The younger Uchiha didn't really care too much though. His brother was legendary in his own right and his clan was one of the oldest and most respected in all the shinobi nations. That was something to be proud of. The five of them continued to eat, catch-up and just bond. Sasuke knew he would never admit it but Naruto was his best friend, his brother in fact, being able to converse with his was something that he missed dearly. Not a lot of people could see past the Sharingan, and into the person. The kekkei genkai was as much of a blessing as it was a curse.

The idle conversation continued until Kakashi stood lazily, "Time to go home guys", they all looked at him either smirking or smiling, ready to be united with their friends and families after nearly four years away.

Naruto stretched enthusiastically "Race you to Konoha!" he screamed to Sasuke before bouncing off. There wasn't a chance in hell that Sasuke would let Naruto win, without hesitation he followed after, trying to reach him. The other three ninja left behind, sweat dropped until they followed, but at a more leisurely pace, they pushed chakra into their feet and made their way into the trees & back home.

When Sakura reached the hospital it was nearly 11. Instead of going up to her office she waited at the reception for Shisui, as the minutes ticked by she took this moment to observe the new nurses and how they interacted with patients. So far she liked what she saw, they were kind and patient even though sometimes they had to repeat what they were saying before the person understood. The corner of her eyes noticed a dark hair figure and she turned to see the man she had been waiting for. The pinkette smiled flirtatiously at the undeniably handsome man in front of her green eyes.

"Let's go to my office, shall we?" He looked up with a gleam in his eyes that only spelt trouble. Shisui was a strong & well-built shinobi, he wasn't overly muscular but he wasn't lean either. Arguably he was the best of both worlds. Lots of muscles to make him a worthy opponent in battle but not enough to slow him down & certainly not enough for you see be able to track his movements. His face was perfectly shaped & even. Jet black hair that was hard to differentiate between unkempt, curly or wavy. Most agreed that it was the latter. He wore the standard attire of the Uchiha clan which differed depending on the personal style. Shisui's was high collared dark blue outfit with had a tantō strapped to the right side of the back of his shoulder. He smiled softly at her and looked deep into her eyes, "We don't have to do anything you don't want to, you know that right?"

This left Sakura blushing for real this time, he was a genuinely sweet guy that was respectful and absolutely loyal to Konoha, she couldn't believe she was doing this. He trusted her, and didn't have a reason to suspect anything, but this left her tenser. She didn't want to see the anger and betrayal that would take over his expression if he ever found out that she had manipulated him in such a way. Sakura had to believe that all this deceit was for the good of Konoha, steeling her resolve she took his hand and led him further into the building, up the stairs and into her office. The Haruno let out a small breath of relief & was confident that he didn't suspect a thing but then again even if he did, would she know? The whole village knew that Shisui possessed the Koto Amatsukami. A powerful technique that enabled him to enter a person's mind and manipulate them by giving them false experiences & make it seem as if they were doing things of their own feel will. A gut wrenching feeling of fear settled in her stomach as she realised that Shisui was very much in control, whatever happened.

He made his way to one of the couches on the side of Sakura's office. He took a seat then watched her walk over to him with graceful movements, she then took a seat close next to him. Her dainty hands gently pushed his shoulders to he could rest his back on the couch. She leaned up and studied his face in appreciation before dipping her head to kiss him firmly on the lips, his hands moved to grab her hips and place her on top of him so he was not being straddled by her. The look he gave her suggested he wanted more than just sex. He look as though he'd been interested her for a long time. And he was. Shisui gazed at the woman on top of him with half lidded eyes, she was beautiful and no-one could compare. Their kissing session went on for a long while until he felt her gather chakra in her hands. At this moment he went on full alert and grabbed her hands. His Sharingan was spinning in anger as he though she was going to try to knock him out. "What are you doing." The look he gave her was lethal.

Sakura's heart thudded painfully in her chest, "I was trying to get you to relax, chakra will relieve the tension in your shoulders," she gave him a tentative smile, "Okay Shisui-kun?" his hands relaxed around hers hesitantly.

"Oh, gomen…"

"I need you to relax ok?"

"Ah" That was all she needed as she then proceeded to massage his shoulders, neck and then his temples. He was limp under her, as the tension in his body faded completely; this showed how much trust he had in her. The chakra in her hands slowly became stronger to lull him to sleep, when she was satisfied that he no longer posed a threat a controlled burst of chakra was sent to his Temporal lobe: the part of the brain that recorded memory and speech.

"Shisui-kun, can you hear me?" Her voice was soft and pleasant as she tried to coax him into talking and revealing what he knew about his clan.

"…Sakura…." The chakra that was streaming through Sakura's hands was persuading him to talk more, by the time she was finished he would have no memory of what happened, it would seem as though he simply fell asleep because her chakra was so relaxing and peaceful. A sigh on contentment escaped his soft lips and he sank further into the couch. "You had a clan meeting 3 days ago, what was discussed?"

His eyes opened slowly to reveal his Sharingan spinning slowly, menacingly, "Why would you want to know that, Sa-ku-ra" his voice stretched out her name. Before she could react he had grabbed her hands and wretched them away from his body. Using momentum he flipped her on her back on the couch while he loomed over her. He used both of his hands to grab her wrists and suspend them above her head.

"Why?" his simple question made her flinch. He face was blank and revealed nothing but she knew he was angry, very angry.

"I can't tell you…" Shisui's eyes spinned faster and transformed in to the Mangekyō. Her world turned black.

"I guess I'll just have to force it out of you then… Tsukiyomi" his voice held a tinge of regret, he didn't want to hurt her, but treachery wasn't easily forgiven. He appeared with in her mind, Sakura tried to fight but inner Sakura usually only came out during battle when it was fight or flight.

She was no longer in her office, but in an unfamiliar place that was nearly black, "I don't want to hurt you, so tell me why you trying to steal information from me" Shisui appeared behind her and rested one of his hands on her shoulder. "Sakura". She tensed and looked into his eyes.

"Your clan is up to something…I've heard rumours of a Coup" at this his posture slumped and his eyes became weary, he no longer looked carefree but more aged and riddled with internal conflict, in the expanse of her mind he paced back and forth. His arms were crossed and more often than, not he rubbed his face in an effort to think clearer.

"I've been talking to the elders. They only think about themselves Fugaku-sama and I have been trying to talk them out of it for years. They don't listen, they never will. Minato-sama is an honourable man, but we never approached him because if the village elders heard… our whole clan would be in danger." He looked at her "do you understand what I'm trying to say?" Sakura nodded, her mind was in a daze as she tried to comprehend what he just told her. "I wasn't aware that… I…" he trailed off, obviously distressed.

Tucking a strand of pink behind her ears Sakura closed the distance between them and held him in a tight embrace she blinked and when her eyes opened they were back in her office in the same compromising position, he had dispelled his Tsukiyomi. "Tomorrow, together, we'll see Hokage-sama okay? Bring Fugaku-sama as well." Shisui watched her for a moment before nodding in acceptance.

Minato looked out of the window of the Hokage Tower. His eyes drifted over the village that he had sacrificed so much for. Maybe too much. The blue eyed legend thought of his son, 'He'll be back in two days' this caused a small smile to embrace his face. Naruto was everything to Minato, the younger Namikaze was more or less an exact duplicate of himself. They had the same blonde hair, slim nose, blue eyes and smile. They could have passed for twins actually. Minato's mind wandered all over the place as he walked towards the Hokage mansion, for now it was a little lonely, but all of that would change when Naruto came back. They had so much to catch up on. He couldn't deny how proud he felt of Naruto, he had inherited Kushina's passion, spirit and love for ramen. Thinking about her made him happy, he still remembered what she said to him as the third Hokage sealed both of them into Naruto's seal. 'I'll always be here… even when I'm not here. I love you and I'll love whoever you love… Minato-kun I wish I could spend the rest of my life with you but there's no time… so I'll wait and see you in the next world…' the love that they had was indescribable, yes he was sad that she was gone, but he cherished the time he had with her. When most people think of a deceased loved one they focused on the fact that they were gone, but Minato only looked at the positives, their memories and experiences.

When he reached his home, Minato promptly made his way to bed to prepare his mind for the tedious tasks that had to be done for the next day.
