The house was quiet, nothing could be heard. Except for two sleeping bodies next to each other. Their breathing was rhythmic and slow. They were face to face and they each had an arm draped over the other.

The sun slowly peeked out from under the blinds in the bedroom, shining on their bodies. Tiny footsteps were heard somewhere, trying not to wake them up. They were peaceful and had two matching smiles. In seconds, a loud noise woke them up.

"Happy anniversary daddy and papa." Arianna and JR jumped on the bed and screeched out.

"Who let these little piggies in so early?" Sonny asked as he woke up.

"If we're little piggies then who's the big bad wolf?" She cried out.

"I am." Sonny got up and pulled them down under the covers. They screeched out and laughed.

"Daddy help us." Arianna cried out. Will got up as well and joined them in attacking Sonny. Will then pulled them both to his lap and kissed them on their foreheads.

"I missed you papa." JR said as he cuddled into Will's arms.

"I missed you too buddy. How about some breakfast?"

"Okay." They scrambled off the bed. Before they ran downstairs they turned around.

"We have a surprise for you." JR spoke.

"And we are coming right behind you." Will replied.

"No. You have to stay in bed. It's a big surprise."

"Okay. We will wait right here." Sonny pulled himself up next to Will.

"Happy anniversary honey." Sonny smiled.

"Happy anniversary to you too." Will smiled back and kissed him twice. The second kiss lingered for a while.

"I wonder what kind of surprise they have for us." Sonny wondered out loud.

"I think I can guess." They sat next to each other for a few minutes sharing kisses. In just a few short minutes, their kids came upstairs and into their room holding on to something.

"What are you two up to?"

"We made this for you." Arianna held out a tray of food.

"Oh sweetie." Sonny took the tray from her so she didn't spill any of it. He set it on the night table next to him. Then he grabbed her and JR and set them in between him and Will. Sonny brought the tray and set it between them as well.

"What's this honey?" Will took something off the tray.

"I made that in class. We each had to do something special for someone. And I did that for you and papa." It was in a heart like shape made of hardened clay. One side was painted red and the other side was painted blue. The side that was painted blue, had a picture of the four of them together.

"Where did you get this picture?" Will asked.

"I saw that you had it out and I wanted to use it. Are you mad at me?"

"Of course not. I love it it's beautiful." He turned it around to the red painted side. And looked at the words over and over again. Which said: I love you daddy and papa always and forever. Sonny saw and picked up a card and noticed that it was from JR. The card said the same thing and also said: best number one daddies. And had a drawing of the four of them together.

"Who's this?" Will asked pointing at the picture. JR pointed them all out to him. Then he pointed out at the sun that had a smiling face.

"The sun doesn't smile silly." Arianna laughed.

"Only in pictures." JR stated. The four of them ate breakfast together after they were given their presents.

"You two go get ready. We are gonna go somewhere. " Will said.

"Okay." They jumped off the bed once again and ran to their rooms.

"Best day so far." Sonny smiled and kissed Will. He gave him a long kiss not wanting to let go. In between the kissing, Sonny felt his eyes tearing up.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Will asked as they let go.

"Nothing's wrong."

"I know something is. You're crying."

"These are happy tears. I'm happy. Because you make me happy and those two adorable kiss make me happy. This is one of the best days of my life."

"You make me happy too. Being with you has made me a better person." Will kissed Sonny back and they hugged. They put their clothes on and finished getting ready.

"You two ready?"

"Yes." They shouted out at the same time from downstairs. The two of them walked downstairs and saw that they were by the door already playing with the dog. Sonny made sure that the dog had enough food and water and a few things to play with while they were gone for a few hours.

They spent half of the day at the mall looking around. They bought something to eat and wrapped it up before they headed to the park and had a picnic. Arianna and JR were on the swings trying to go higher than the other after being pushed.

"Daddy daddy look at me." Arianna shouted.

"Be careful sweetie." Will called out.

"This is perfect. This is exactly how I planned this day to look." Sonny replied.

"Me too. Oh, my mom wants us to join her later."

"I wonder why."

"I have no idea. I didn't bother to ask." An hour later, they packed everything up and headed home. As soon as they got home, the phone rang. Sonny quickly answered before it hung up. He was on the phone for no longer than five minutes and hung up the phone.

"Ari, JR, Grammy wants to see you."

"Okay. Come on JR." Arianna said and took his hand to walk next door.

"Be careful." Will called out.

"Finally." Sonny said.

"I was hoping that you would say something." Will smiled.

"Yeah? Want to take this upstairs?"

"Oh yeah." Sonny leaned in towards Will and kissed him softly at first. He changed the angle of his lips and kissed him deeper.

"I don't want to ruin this, but we have two hours to get ready." Sonny replied in the kiss.

"For what?" Will pulled back.

"Your mom has something planned."

"As always. I don't want to think about that right now. I just want you." Will pulled Sonny to him.

"You got it." Sonny leaned closer once again to kiss him. Will's hands were wrapped around Sonny's waist and they slowly made their way up to his shoulders. Will sighed into the kiss and let Sonny take control. They somehow managed to find their way upstairs and were in the bedroom. Will slowly unbuttoned Sonny's shirt and Sonny did the same to Will.

Their shirts slipped off their shoulders and their bare bodies were exposed to one another. "Will!" Someone squealed in the big house.

"Oh my god, I'm so happy to see you. And you. I've missed you." Abigail net up to them both and hugged them. Someone came up to them and wrapped their arms around her.

"We've missed you too. And apparently you haven't been telling us a lot."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Guys, this is Ben."

"Nice to meet you guys."

"You two. Abby?"

"Hmm?"

"Is that a ring on your finger?" Sonny asked. She lifted her hand up and showed her ring.

"Holy crap, that's huge." Will laughed.

"He actually proposed to me not too long ago. About five, six months ago." Abigail looked to Ben.

"Five months ago actually."

"Really, and you guys just happen to tell us this now?" Will looked like he was forgotten.

"We didn't forget to tell you. I wanted a way to tell you, but I was always busy. And we Bo happen to have a week off from work and this was the perfect time."

"Well, I'm happy for you both." Sonny smiled.

"Thank you Sonny." She smiled and kissed his cheek.

"You're welcome." Will and Sonny we able to move away from the door and finally get to see faces they haven't seem in a long time. All the kids were in the basement playing together, and having fun, while the adults were upstairs. The house was almost empty as they were making their way outside to the backyard.

"Hey Will, come with me." Will followed Abigail outside. After having a somewhat good conversation with Chad, Sonny looked around for Will.

"You looking for Will?" Chad asked.

"Yeah. He was just right beside me."

"I think he's outside waiting for you." Sonny walked outside and saw that everything was done in a way he never imagined. It was different from the first time they got married obviously. But having a renewal of their vows under the lights that surrounded them and everyone around them, it felt different. Not a weird different, but a good different. It was something that neither of them expected. For their last few anniversaries, they spent it either in bed of on a holiday trip. The last one was the best.

They had made a trip to Hawaii and they had half of the resort to themselves. They made it very useful. But the one night that made it special was when Sonny had one of the evenings planned out and it turned out perfect. And it was the perfect way to know how much they loved each other and how far they have gotten. And also knowing that they are partners for life

Sonny walked up to Will who was standing next to his grandma. They both remembered when she married them. That was another best day of their lives that the remember. They renewed their vows in front of everybody and just like their wedding, they leaned in for a kiss to make it last. They had their first dance and it was their song from the wedding. They held each other close.

"I love you so much." Sonny whispered in Will's ear.

"I love you too." Soon enough the kids came outside to start eating as the food was being passed around. Aft the long hour dinner, they started to do more dancing. Someone in the crowd stopped the music.

"I just want to say congratulations to the happy couple who have been together for as long as I've known them. They are both such a strong couple and they have made it through a wedding without any interruptions, or a shooting. And they have made it through almost every obstacle in life to be here. I know how hard and tough it was for the two of them. Will struggling with who he was, but Sonny was always there for him. His best friend, who became his boyfriend, and now his life partner. To Will and Sonny." Everyone else repeated the last sentence. They all went back to what they were doing.

"Wow." Will smiled.

"Yeah. I know." Sonny laughed.

"May, I have this dance?"Will asked and took Sonny's hand. They left their drinks on a table and found an empty spot on the grass. There were other couples dancing around.

"You know, out of all the things that we have seen tonight, I think the best thing was this."

"So you're glad we came?"

"Yeah. I guess. My mom really knows how to do things right. And when she does, she likes it to be he way and her way only."

"I know someone else who is like that." Sonny laughed.

"Oh shut up."

"I think you're just tired."

"I am. That little thing earlier had me extremely tired."

"I bet it did." Sonny laughed at him.

"Stop laughing at me. I don't know why you keep laughing at me."

"Okay, okay. I'll stop." They were quiet once again. They did t let go of each other and kept dancing. Will rested his head against Sonny's shoulder.

"Sonny?"

"Hmm?"

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"For being my friend, for always being there for me. And for the perfect family that we have." Will lifted his head.

"You don't need to thank me for that. I have always loved you Will. Since I first met you, and you didn't know it. And I will always love you."

"I love you too."

"We are partners for life and a family for life. And that is the best thing I could ever ask for."

"Me too." Will was beginning to grow tired. Almost everyone left, and they congratulated them before they did. Their kids were tired and wanted to go home.

"Someone's tired. Ready to go home?" Sonny looked over at Will.

"Mhmm." Will took JR in his arms and Sonny took Ari in his.

"Let's go home." They walked back home and set their kids to bed. Will was fast asleep and Sonny draped his arm over him. He kissed him gently and fell asleep.
