Chapter 13

Its a few hours later when Payson starts to wake up, as soon as she does she feels the need to vomit.

Getting out of the bed she staggers to the bathroom past Kelly and starts to puke.

Kelly's behind her pulling her hair out of the way for her.

"That's it, just puke it all up, you'll feel better" soothes Kelly.

"I'm never touching alcohol again" mutters Payson.

"You done throwing up?" asks Kelly.

Payson nods and standing up she flushes the toilet.

"Here" says Kelly handing her the bottle of mouthwash.

Payson washes her mouth out and spits it into the bowl.

"Oh my god I feel awful" she whines clutching her head.

"Yeah since you pretty much drank almost and entire bottle of vodka by yourself I'm not surprised, come on lets get some water into you" says Kelly as she helps Payson onto the sofa.

"That was such a bad idea" sighs Payson.

"Yeah, but I kind of see why you did it, what do you remember?" asks Kelly handing her a glass of water and sitting down.

"The letter from your mom, and then something about support, and talking about Sasha, and something about the centre of the universe, it's hazy" replies Payson.

"Not surprising, anything specific?" asks Kelly.

"You think Sasha has feelings for me and that I still have them for him, that's about it" says Payson.

"Yeah, so did you drink yourself into oblivion because of what I said?" asks Kelly.

"No I didn't even think about drinking, I was just kind of tornado of emotions and I was drinking without thinking about it and I guess I passed out" sighs Payson.

"He was here" says Kelly.

"Sasha?" asks Payson.

"Yeah I couldn't get you into bed myself so I called him and I kind of had to tell him what I said and he insisted that there's nothing between you, is he right?" asks Kelly.

Payson makes a snap decision, "yes he's right, we're friends Kelly nothing more, I love Rigo, Sasha was a teenage crush that I'm over, we were both affected by the alcohol and you were upset, so we'll just pretend it never happened and I'll call Sasha later and tell him that you weren't thinking straight" says Payson.

"Okay" nods Kelly.

"Good, now can you just pass me the jug I think I'll be drinking water for awhile" says Payson.

"Yeah, I'll get some food as well" smiles Kelly.

A couple of hours later Payson grabs her phone and calls Sasha.

"Hello" he answers.

"Hi it's me" she replies.

"Ah Payson how are you feeling?" asks Sasha.

"Like shit, I shouldn't drink" says Payson.

"Well maybe just not as much as you did" he replies.

"Yeah, me and Kelly both anyway she told me what she said and I just wanted to clear the air, we were both affected by the alcohol and I'm sorry for what was said, we weren't thinking straight and I don't want things to be weird, and I swear I will never drink again" she says.

"Oh good, and yeah I knew you and Kelly weren't functioning rationally, don't worry Payson" he replies.

"Good, now I'm going to go for a run to try and sweat it out, see you tomorrow" she smiles.

"Bye" he replies as he hangs up.

He sets the phone down and looks at it, this was what needed to happen, it was better this way, they could blame it all on the alcohol, and nothing would change.

Except for the fact she'd told him she loved him, she probably didn't remember him saying it to her, which was good, now he just needed to carry on as normal, even if he did feel his heart shattering at the thought.

A/N So a stall on the realisation of feelings here, but hey it wouldn't be as entertaining if there wasn't a bit of angst and suspense, so I'm not around for the next few days, so this and the next chapter will need to tide you guys over, thank you to Brooke and reigningseven, and to all you silent readers out there let me know what you think, so fav, follow and review :)
