"You go around fighting evil." Sebastian smiled thinly at her, "Yet you cry when you see dead people."

"Don't you?" Serena frowned.

"No... not really..."

"Oh.."

"Anyway." Sebastian shook his head, "My point is, you must heal people rather than destroy them. Turn them... how shall we say? Good again?"

Serena's ears pricked up, she wasn't thinking straight with one of her best friends just lying there anyway, "The... Hope Diamond?"

Sebastian shook his head, "The Hope Diamond is of no use to you."

"I'm sorry, Serena." Lita sighed through her tears, "I tried to tell you!"

"In a very roundabout fashion!" The Undertaker giggled.

"Yeah... well it's hard when you're a mute..."

Serena blinked, tired and upset, "But what..."

"Have you forgotten everything, Serena?" Raye wiped her nose on Grell's long sleeve, "The silver crystal you dummy!"

Serena's eyes widened, how had she forgotten!? Of course, the Silver Crystal had restored them after her fight with Queen Beryl, surely it could do the same just for Mina?!

"Come on." Sebastian offered her his hand, "You have to be strong, and do this, Serena."

She was slowly pulled up and stood looking at the sad tabloid of her friends, "Ok..."

She was still weak with exhaustion, "Moon..." She tried to raise her arms, but struggled under the weight of the crystal. It was usually so light, and now, she just couldn't do it. "I can't." She crumpled back down on to her knees, the tears falling again, "What if it doesn't work?"

"Serena!"Ami knelt down by her, "You have to try, you're the only one who can save Mina."

"But... she's already..."

"Ami's right." The stern voice of Will made Serena look up in surprise, "You need to help your friend."

"Oh Will!" Grell swooned.

"All right, lover boy." Raye dragged him up by the bow, "Stop swooning at him and get over there and help him. Help my friends."

Grell folded his arms and smiled at her, "Alright Little Mars, but only because..."

Raye shrugged, "Because what?"

"Oh dear me Grell..." Will sighed, "You're not going to tell her you love her are you?"

Grell turned around, disgusted at what Will had just said, "NO! She's my friend! That's what I wanted to tell her!"

Will raised an eyebrow and shifted his glasses with his pruner as the light flashed over them, "Well get over here and help her friend then."

"Yeah." Lita and the Undertaker moved over, "With all of us supporting you, the very people who preside over life and death, it has to work."

The girls all stood by Serena, their new found friends behind them, looking fondly on.

Serena stood, determination in her eyes, "Thanks guys. You're all... you're all brilliant." She looked at Sebastian expectantly, "Ready?"

He raised his eyebrows, "Just do it already. I need to get back to my young master..."

"Right!" Serena raised the wand above her head, "Moon healing, ACTIVATION!"

Bright lights swam through the air, directing themselves at Mina. The Undertaker tried to catch one in his teeth until Lita nudged him. This was too important to mess around.

Serena kept her eyes closed, hoping, praying this would work. She felt a strong force around her. A pull. The friendship that they had all grown in was healing Mina, she hoped.

Slowly, Serena opened her eyes.

"Why is she still lying there?" Ami put her head in her hands.

Will put his arm around her, "Perhaps there were orders from on high, not to spare her."

"But she will do good for the world!" Lita stamped her foot, "She's the best girl ever, she's been saving people way longer than we have."

"Not so fast!" Grell grabbed Raye's arm.

"Get off Grell, I'm in no mood for messing around."

"Shut up and pay attention!" Grell smiled, "And you'll noticed little Venus just opened her eyes!"

The girls looked to where Mina lay, slowly blinking in the bright sun, "Guys..."

"OH MINA!" Serena threw herself to the ground, grabbing her friend so emotionally it could have been considered violent.

"Steady on..." Sebastian folded his arms, "She's only just been resurrected."

"Resurrected..." Mina coughed a little, "Woah... why do I have a massive blood stain on my outfit!?"

"Don't worry about that!" Raye was crying and laughing with happiness, "I think all our costumes need a wash when we get home!" She glanced at Grell, who still stood there with the tiny skirt flapping around his legs.

"Mina, how much do you remember?" Serena was still hugging her, unusually enough, unfazed by the huge blood stain.

Mina put her hand to her head, dizzy and exhausted, "I remember... falling through the time stream... wait." She looked around, "There was this really nice guy! He had like, purple eyes and dreamy white hair, and he said he was going to help me!"

Serena sweat dropped, "And you believed him?"

"Oh come on!" Lita threw her hands up in the air, "Says you Serena, hanging around with this guy!"

Sebastian raised an eyebrow, a little offended.

"To be honest," Raye smiled at her friends, "Her man probably looked the most respectable out of the guys we found..."

"I have to disagree!" Ami piped up, "Will here looks, and is the perfect gent!"

Will looked down, embarrassed, shifting his glasses a little and staying silent.

"Ok..." Mina sat up frowning, "What's been going on?"

"Well..." Serena began.

"Perhaps," Sebastian cut her off, "We should head to the Phantomhive Manor to discuss this. It's cold, and early in the morning. People will be waking very soon and this isn't a pleasant sight. I can attend to a bite to eat and wash your outfits if you so wish."

"Sounds fabulous, Bassy!" Grell flung himself at Sebastian grabbing his arm, "I've always wanted to be invited back to your place!"

"He's even worse when men are around him..." Raye sweat dropped and glared at her companion.

"I'm afraid I'll have to decline."

"But Will!" Ami turned to look at him.

"I've already taken a lot of time sorting this out, and... erm." Will coughed awkwardly, "I have to go. I won't be paid overtime for this either."

Ami's head fell is sadness, "Well, all right. If you must."

"You're not going to try and stop him?!" Lita stared.

"That would be cruel and unthinking! I've seen just how much work he has to do! I've done most of it, I did the accounts and I calculated a huge graph thingy!"

"A huge graph thingy?" Grell frowned. "Will!"

"Grell?"

"Not the huge graph thingy that would be last month's rate of deaths?!"

Will winced, "Yes..."

"I CALCULATED THAT!?"

"Yes..."

Grell grinned, "Will! It's the first Wednesday of the month! The day you calculate that graph, and it's been done already for you!"

"But..."

"No excuses!" Grell shoved him in to Ami, "You have no work and are therefore free! And coming to the Phantomhive manor with us!"

"Hooray!" Ami jumped up, smiling happily.

Will stared, with someone as happy at his presence as that, he couldn't not go, could he?

Ciel sat on the balcony of his manor, as his scones and lemonade did not arrive. Why? For the simple reason Sebastian was not there to wait on him hand and foot, and to be perfectly honest, he didn't feel safe asking Mey-Rin to get him lemonade...

He had managed to get mostly dressed, but his shirt was untucked and not fully done up, he looked rather sloppy, and had had no breakfast at all.

"Come on Sebastian, where are you?..." he muttered, irritated by the lack of his Butler.

He rubbed his eye and blinked at what he thought he saw coming towards the house. He frowned and blinked again.

"A large party of people..." He squinted to see closer, "Uh... women dressed like that Serena girl!? Lots of them? And... Grell? The Undertaker? Wha..." Ciel looked down at his state of dress, "Sebastian you are going to pay for this!"

xxx

Mey-Rin smiled nervously, "Erm... the master... er... is a little. Erm. He said he'll see you in a minute. After Mister Sebastian..."

"You could say..." Serena grinned, "He'll Ciel us in a minute! Get it! Ciel!" She burst out laughing.

The girls stood and stared at her, nonplussed.

"Ciel?" Raye glared.

"That was an awful pun Moon Girl." Grell tossed his hair.

"You call everyone else Little!" Serena protested.

"You just look more like a Moon Girl."

Serena pouted and turned to face Sebastian, who was looking down darkly at her. "I shall go and attend to my young master. Mey-Rin, show them in to the drawing room."

"Yes sir." Mey-Rin led them in to the neat room Lita had seen very little of before due to her massive hood.

"This looks so much better when I can see!" Lita grinned, throwing herself down on to one of the red velvet sofas, the Undertaker landing next to her.

"Guys..." Mina stood in the door way, looking rather uneasy, "Please. Tell me what happened."

xxx

Ciel entered the room to find Mina wiping tears away furiously, whilst being hugged by a number of friends.

"Hello, ladies."

"We took up your offer Little Lord!" The Undertaker grinned.

"So I see..." Ciel now looked a lot smarter, "I'm Ciel Phantomhive. Lord of the Phantomhive manor. I welcome you to my estates. I would never have guessed my Butler would bring so many people back with him at once without asking me." He glared at Sebastian.

"Of course I am sorry, young master, but I felt as if I should do something for them after..." He glanced at Mina who was staring at him, terrified. "Yes... Well."

"Sebastian, you promised us a change of clothes!" Raye reminded him, "I really would like Grell to get out of my dress!"

Mina laughed, "He looks like a woman!"

Grell folded his arms, "I am a woman!"

"Don't get him started..."

"Of course." Ciel nodded, "There are a few guest dresses, I hope they fit, Mey-Rin, attend to them."

Mey-Rin stared, that was a lot of corset lacing she was going to have to do, "Yes sir..."

As the ladies walked out the door, they thanked Ciel for his kindness and followed Mey-Rin upstairs.

"Sebastian." Ciel sighed, "Since you got me in to this mess, you can make us all dinner."

"Certainly sir." Sebastian smiled, "But I'd better give Mey-Rin washing instructions... I don't want their outfits to shrink in the wash..."

"You mean those things can get shorter?!" The Undertaker stared, "Not sure I like my daughter flashing her legs about like that..."

The dresses were beautiful Victorian gowns. They were heavy and to be honest, not very comfortable, but they certainly made the girls look the part.

"Serena?" Mina ran up to her, "Do you... do you think you can ever trust me again?"

Serena turned to look at her friend, dressed all in an orange dress, her bow still in her hair, "Mina what are you talking about?"

Mina looked down, "I just can't believe I was deceived by him... and I was so horrible."

Serena took Mina's hand, "Mina, we love you. Of course we forgive you. You didn't know you were doing anything wrong!"

Mina smiled sadly, "I hope the others forgive me too, in time."

The two girls hugged.

"They already have." Serena whispered.

Dinner, as to be expected, was exquisite. All the girls said so. They sat there eating of expensive china which Ciel made sure everyone knew cost over £500. It was over all too soon though, as the last plates were cleared, everyone looked sadly round the table.

"So..." Serena shrugged a little, "Do we have to go?"

There was a short silence, everyone looking to one another, unhappy, discontented.

"I think you're going to have to." Will pushed his glasses over his eyes again, "You can't stay here, can you?"

"Urg, Will!" Grell sighed, "Always the boring old voice of boring old reason!"

Ami giggled and looked at Will, "I agree though. It would be impractical to stay. I've already made William have to work overtime..."

"A lot of overtime..."

Ami blushed a little, "Yes. A lot of overtime."

Sebastian smiled, "This is, after all, not your time. You have your own place in the world, and we have ours. Without you, what would people do?"

"He has a point." Mina shrugged.

"Well," The Undertaker stood up, "May be we should get it done sooner rather than later, eh?" He took Lita's hand, helping her out of the chair. Her dress was much larger than one she would usually wear...

Serena looked a little narked at the fact Grell and the Undertaker were speaking to the girls they had been with most and Sebastian appeared to be avoiding her like the plague.

"Ooh, he's so selfish!" She stamped her foot angrily.

Mina laughed, "Well, you're just standing here! Go talk to him, or you'll be just as bad!"

"Just as bad!?" Serena retaliated, "I am standing with a friend I nearly lost! I doubt he has one friend!"

"Look, he's coming here now!"

Serena marched forward and grabbed Sebastian's arm, "Why am I getting avoided?!"

He frowned, "Excuse me?"

"You are avoiding me and I wanna know why!"

"If you would kindly let go of my arm, I have to attend to my master."

Serena pulled harder on his arm, "That's not good enough! I wanna know what I did wrong!"

Sebastian gently moved away from her, "Miss Moon."

"That's a weird name..." Mina muttered.

"The reason I have been a little, let us say, icy with you is due to the fact that you cleaned my shoes."

"YOU TOLD ME TO CLEAN YOUR SHOES!" Serena wailed.

"Yes." Sebastian frowned, "Yet I did not tell you to clean my shoes with butter."

Serena paused, "This is because of butter?"

"Yes."

"Serena!" Mina burst out laughing, "You idiot! No wonder the poor man wants us gone!"

"Hey!" Serena pushed her friend playfully, "Do you know how hard it is to be a Victorian maid?!"

"I'd have done a better job than you!" She teased.

Sebastian smiled thinly, "Perhaps it would have been better if you had come along with me, Miss Venus. You seem more intelligent than your... Moon friend..."

"WHA?" Serena cried as Sebastian walked away from her towards his master, "He's just jealous because I've got a snazzier outfit than him..."

Mina laughed. She looked around the courtyard, so many people to say goodbye to, yet she had no one...

"So", Raye smiled at Grell, "It's been... quite the adventure."

"Yes... I shall miss your little frill." Grell flicked his hair over his shoulder wistfully.

"You mean my skirt?"

"Yes... that..."

Raye frowned, "Unfortunately it did suit you..."

Grell laughed, "Can't deny it really can you?"

"Cheeky!" She laughed, kicking his shin lightly.

Grell looked at her, "Will you miss me, Little Mars?"

"Yes!" Raye laughed for a moment, then paused, "Will you miss me?"

There was a short silence, "Probably not." He grinned, "But who knows, maybe one day I'll reap your soul!"

"What a great thought..." Raye glared.

Behind them, the Undertaker had Lita in a tight hug, "Now you behave, little madam, and make sure to wash behind your ears!"

"LET GO!" Lita said muffled from his grasp.

"And don't forget, an apple a day keeps the doctor away! And don't forget to water your flowers, and to feed the donkey!"

Lita pushed away from him, "Ok, A, I don't have a donkey, B, you have to be careful with flowers, and C, I've been looking after myself for a long time. Don't worry about me."

The Undertaker frowned, "You don't live with your parents?"

Lita bit her lip, looking down at the ground sadly shook her head.

The Undertaker stepped forward and gave her a squeeze, "Hey, chin up. Tell you what. I'll be your dad."

Lita laughed lightly, "To tell the truth, you'd be an awesome dad."

"I know I would!"

Lita threw her arms around him and hugged him, "Thanks for everything."

The Undertaker smiled under his mass of white hair, "I'm not quite sure what everything is, but, you're welcome. Sally."

"LITA!"

The Undertaker chuckled, "All right all right, run along then."

The girls moved over to stand together.

"All right," Serena smiled, "How are we gonna get back."

"I'll contact Luna and Artemis, and they can open the portal." Lita got her device out and started talking.

"And this time, how about we all stay together, hmm?" Mina grinned.

"Good idea!" Serena laughed in agreement.

"Just a second..." Grell stepped forward, as Lita was busy on the device, "Where's Will?"

Ami stood silently on the end of her friendship group, her eyes downcast, "I... I couldn't find him."

"WHAT?!" Grell stared, "You mean he just ran off?!"

"No." The ever stern voice came from behind them, "I've been here, just... out of the way. I didn't assume anyone would notice."

"I'd notice!" Ami broke away from Raye and ran up to Will. He held his hand out for her to shake as she leapt on him, throwing her arms around his neck.

"Oh... all right..." Will stood there as Ami hung from him.

"There are times when one has to be well behaved." She smiled at him, "But around true, true friends. You should never be reserved."

"Friends?" Will stuttered.

"Friends."

Will slowly and cautiously returned her hug, "Well... thank you."

She turned to go back to her friends, but stopped, "Will I ever see you again?"

Will adjusted his glasses, "Oh. I should think so."

Ami beamed and ran back to her friends.

"Ready?" Lita grinned.

"Ready!" The girls chimed back.

A huge purple swirl opened behind them. The end in sight, two cat silhouettes at the end of the tunnel.

"Three, two, one!" The girls all jumped through, and as quickly as they had appeared, they vanished.

There was a long silence in the Phantomhive courtyard.

"Were they... cats?" Sebastian stuttered after a long while.

"Oh yes!" The Undertaker grinned, "They have some totally adorable talking cats!"

"Why..." Sebastian shook his head, "Why did nobody tell me sooner?"

As the men turned to leave they saw a small oriental man walking towards them.

"Oh it's Lau..." Ciel sighed, "Hello. You just missed the entertainment."

"So they have gone..." He sighed. "And yet, I think you will see them again, it may be a different time and place, but you shall see them work again."

"Wait, how do you know about the girls?" The Undertaker folded his arms.

"Oh, so there have been women here? How nice for you all."

"YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON!"

xxx

The girls opened their eyes slowly as they got back to the museum.

"Are... are we all still here?" Mina blinked cautiously.

"GIRLS!" Luna cried excitedly, "Did you defeat that villain and get the Hope Diamond?"

Lita laughed, "We defeated a villain and made sure the Hope Diamond won't be used."

"That horrible man!" Artemis said, "Luna and I were worried about you Lita."

"It shouldn't have been Lita you were worried about." Mina rolled her eyes.

"What on Earth are you all wearing?!" Luna stared at their huge Victorian dresses.

They all looked at each other.

"Great..." Raye sighed, "We're gonna get some pretty strange looks on the way home..."

Three Weeks Later...

Lita unlocked the door to her apartment and went in, whistling to herself. The world had seemed remarkably quiet since their little trip...

She walked past the kitchen and past where she'd hung her huge gown, and in to her living room.

She stopped dead in her tracks.

"Hello, Sally!"

Lita stared, "HOW DID YOU GET A COFFIN IN TO MY FRONT ROOM?!"
