I suck at updating soon, I'm sorry.
I don't own InuYasha.
As they were walking, Sango fell behind along with Miroku.
"This is going to be interesting." She stated, attempting to engage him in conversation.
"Yes, indeed it is, all though, I am a bit worried." He said scratching the back of his neck. "You know how InuYasha can be.." As they began voicing their concerns to each other, Kagome and InuYasha began to talk.
"You are so stubborn sometimes. Even as to challenge me to a fight? Aren't you concerned you'll hurt me?" Kagome asked.
"Why you asking? Getting' nervous?" He answered with a question and a smirk. She just 'hmphed' and walked a little faster. Shippo was walking with his lollie pop, ignoring everything around him. About five minutes later, they reached a safe distance away from the village. "You ready he asked?" After everyone else had backed away. Kagome nodded. 'Don't worry, I ain't gonna hurt ya.' He thought.
'Are my powers even this advanced?' She thought.
"Wait a sec." InuYasha said, getting Tesuiga. Kagome's eyes widened, and her heart beat started racing even more. She immediately calmed down when she saw him hand it to Sango. InuYasha chuckled, he had heard her heart beat jump. "Kay." He said getting into a fighting stance. Kagome gulped and got in a miko stance. Her legs were shoulder width apart, one arm streched out infront of her with two fingers up, and one bent back with two fingers out. She began to glow. InuYasha saw this and was mesmarized by the beauty. She began to glow, and a powerful gust of wind surrounded her. InuYasha shook him self from his daze, began. He struck first, or attempted to. When a sudden powerful ball of purple light came for him. He jumped up avoiding it. When he looked at Kagome, he noticed her eyes were closed, and she was calmer than before. 'She in complete concentration. She's letting the power guide her... hmm.' He thought. When she opened her eyes, she smiled. They went from their usual brown, to a lavender color. "Kagome, your eyes.." InuYasha began. She just nodded, with a raised eye brow.
"What about them?" She said be for attacking. She swept an arm back and over her head, and jolts of lighting like power came from them. He dodged most of them but one hit him in the side, knocking him 20 feet back. He held his side. "You okay InuYasha? I didn't mean to let out too much power." She said with genuine concern.
"Shaddup, I'm fine." He said getting up. "When the hell did you learn that, and why the hell are your eyes purple?" He asked.
"Well, I've been training a lot lately, and I recently learned the eye thing, it lets me access my full power, and control it." She said. "Here look." Then she closed her eyes, and held her palms together. They were glowing. She she let her palms go, a purple butterfly that looked like it was made of mist flew around kagome, spreading something almost like fairy dust, and then flew back to her palms and disappeared.
"Woah.." InuYasha mumbled.
"I can also do this.." She said, then her finger tips were glowing. She aimed her hand at InuYasha, and flicked the air. A little ball of electricity flew at InuYasha at incredible speeds. It hit him in the face and he flew back again. "I'm sorry!" She said running over to him.
"Stop doing that!" He said.
"Maybe we shouldn't fight?" Kagome suggested.
"I could have dodged that if I had known it was gonna send me flying." When Kagome looked up, she noticed it was dark.
"No let's end this it's already dark out." She said. That's not the only thing she noticed, and InuYasha had noticed it as well. Kikiyo's soul collectors. "I'm going back to the inn.." She mumbled. Walking away she began twirling her finger, twirling around a spiral of magic. (AN: It looks like a little ribbon of purple sparkles twirling around.) Sango, Miroku, and Shippo followed. InuYasha just huffed. 'What now.' He thought, running in the direction of the soul collectors.
Bit of a shorty, but an update no less. I'm working on another one right now too. You'll be seeing a lot of Kagome's power from now on, but don't worry, I wont make her too powerful.
