Kagome glanced behind her long enough to notice the hanyou run after the soul collectors. She felt tears burn in her eyes. 'I don't own him, he can do what he wants. I wont let him make me cry anymore... I just thought he felt the same way..' she thought. Once back at the inn, Kagome laid down. Sango, Shippo, and Miroku went to their designated rooms for the night as well. Kagome was alone, and when she was alone she started thinking things and her imagination gets carried away. she stood. 'It's wrong to follow them, but I have to know what their saying. If that makes me a bad person then I'm a bad person.'

InuYasha's POV-

'That damn Kikiyo! Why can't she just leave me alone?' InuYasha mentally screamed. After a few minutes of running, InuYasha was standing in front of Kikiyo. She smiled.

"InuYasha, I'm so happy to have you join me." She coo'd.

"Whatdya want. I ain't got time for you." He snapped. She adjusted her face to a look of discomfort.

"I wondered if you were still with Kagome. She should not be here, InuYasha. She is not of this world. She has, and will continue to disturb the balance of nature. It will ultimately cost her her life." She had only began talking, yet InuYasha refused to listen to more.

"Why are you always wanting Kagome to go home? Why do you have this grudge against her? Do you want to send her away? Well, in any case, Kagome isn't going anywhere. Do you really think I'd believe anything that came from you mouth? No, I don't." InuYasha had spoken. Kikiyo's aura shanged from warm and inviting to cold and dead.

"Do you speak your true feelings?" She asked.

"I love Kagome, and no way will I ever let you or anyone else send her away." He shouted at the dead priestess. Kikyo's eyes softened.

"I can see you speak the truth. I am sorry for halting your happiness, I will no longer intervene. I will tell you one thing. If you love her as much as you say, then you must do your best to make her happy." Kikiyo began walking foreword. "Stop being so rude, and stop being such a brat. You must know she is a woman. She need love and affection from the one she loves. You must also take care of her and protect her. There are demons who wish to attain her powers."

"Why are you telling me this?" InuYasha asked. Kikiyo let a mixture of a chuckle and a sigh escape.

"Kagome may not be from this time, but she is my reincarnation. That connection we have allowed me to grow fond of her. I feel as though she is my own child, which is why I was trying to get you to send her away, for her protection. I'll warn you now, InuYasha, if anything happens to Kagome, I'll have no choice but to blame you. Her voice grew dark. " Protect her with your life." The hanyou didn't need to be told twice. Kikiyo turned, and began walking away. He waited until she was gone to head back. Then he remembered. 'Dammit! Kagome saw the soul collectors, she knows I followed them! Dammit dammit dammit!' Then he heard something rustle a few yards away.

Kagome's POV-

It took all of her energy to get back to the inn before InuYasha, and even more to be stealthy enough to avaide his attention while in the woods. Kagome ran into the Inn, to her room, and jumped under the covers of her futon. Her heart racing, and her body sweating, she knew InuYasha would know she followed him, but the words he said made her smile idiotically. 'He feels the same...' Kikiyo's words confused her though. Kagome was sure Kikiyo hated her. Her train of confusion was broke by the sound of the doors sliding open, and foot steps.

"What all did you hear?" InuYasha's voice was soft. Kagome sat up. ' No use playing dumb.' She thought. Instead of saying anything, she hugged him. Inuyasha was in shock only for a few seconds before hugging her back. He faintly heard her whisper "everything". Inuyasha pulled away from he hug, and tipped her chin up to look at him.

"I love you, Kagome." Kagome smiled with tears in her eyes.

"I love you too." Soon after she said those words, Inuyasha kissed her. He kissed her with all the passion he could and she returned. The kiss became hungrier and soon Inuyasha was laying on Kagome, his weight balanced. Clothing was flying, moans, groans, and growls went all about.

Authors Note:

So, I thought about going more into detail about what happened at the end, but I felt ok just implying what happened, as I don't know how to write that kind of thing yet. I'm not really experienced in that category, and I feel like if I tried to write it, then it would suck and ruin the whole story.

Also, I suck at updates. As mentioned before in almost every long awaited update. I transferred to a new school, and it's been stressful, not to mention the horrible writers block I get at the end of each chapter. Also, I wrote this on my phone, so please forgive any grammar mistakes.
