Sorry for not posting in like a year had all my exams to do, i sort of made this chapter more how they are now in the soap rather than when they first got together, hope you like.

Jasons P.O.V

we made it outside only to be greeted by a family full of smirks from my idiot brothers and a slap on the back from joe. Yep mum had definitely told them but we were so happy we didn't really care. Rob got us a beer each and we finally start the fireworks ziggy looks like hes about to explode hes so happy.A extremely tipsy Lindsey jumps onto joes back, probably for the best by the looks of things if he left her standing any longer shed have ended up on the floor, its good to see everyone this happy together dont honestly remember the last time my family got drama free moments like this to just be a normal family.

I was once again pulled out of my own little world by holly leaning into me, she smiled up at me and i returned it then her turned mischeavous and she swiped the beer from my hand taking a sip before handing it back.
"You want one? nobodys gonna mind round here" I asked her.
"nahh trying to keep a clear head, dont want to do anything ill regret,thanks anyway but im a bit cold dont still dont want to be a spoil sport but can we go inside soon?"she replied, shes so cute when shes shy i dont think i will ever be able to say no to that face.
"Yeah corse we can babe" I replied "ZIG how many more we got left its freezing out here!" i yelled over to ziggy whos stood quarding the fireworks.
"bout 2 fireworks then the rockets" he replied with a sad look on his face. Checking her watch mum yelled " OH my goodness its nearly midnight everyone one!" "10...9...8..." chorused the family. I turned to holly when it reached one and kissed her,and she pulled me in for a deeper kiss luckily this time nobody noticed as they were all pretty much doing the same,joe lindsey freddie sinead mum frazer. ziggy,rob and grace were all on the phone with ruby,phoebe and trevor wishing them a happy new year.

2 hours later...

We were all inside now me and holly were cuddled on the sofa, i could see she was falling asleep and i wasnt that far behind her before my eye lids slid shut.
Next thing i know is my mum gently shaking me awake to go to bed, "jase hunn its getting late maybe you two should go up to bed, robbies gone to stay at phoebes so holly can stay as long as cindy knows" she told me quietly so holly didnt wake up.
"ok, yeah will do thanks mum, happy new year" i replied.
"you too night son"she responded kissing me on the head before wondering back into the kitchen to see whoever was still here, it was a lot quieter than before so im guessing most of them are allready asleep.
"hol wake up we need to go to bed, trust me this sofa with kill your back in the morning" i told her in just above a whisper so i didnt startle her.
"hmm what... oh yeah sure" she replied sitting up slightly giving me a quick kiss before she snuggled back into me.

"come on they up we go"i said picking her up carrying her up the stairs if i didnt it was clear she wasnt going anywhere anytime soon.
When we got to my room i nudged the door open and looked down at her half asleep looking back up at me with a gorgeous smile on her face.I walked over and sat her on the bed and took of my shirt and jeans leaving my in my boxers.
"ill find you something to wear" i told her turning around to look in my wardrobe.
"just give me your shirt to wear ill be fine" she told me so i turned back round as she was in the middle of pulling her shirt off over her head, in her tired state it somehow got stuck on her head so i started laughing as i went over to help her, once i managed to tackle her out of her jeans aswell i pulled my shirt over her head and she climbed into bed as i went to turn off the lights i looked back at her, god how did i honestly get so lucky i asked myself as i slid into bed next to my gorgeous girlfriend.
"night hol" i told her as i yawned pulling her into my chest and kissing her on the head goodnight.
"night babe, happy new year"she replied leaning up to give me a long kiss as she laid her body half on mine before tucking her nead down into my neck and pulling the duvet further over us, sortly after i heard her breathing change as she fell back asleep and not long after i felt my eyes shut once more and i culdnt help the small smile on my face.
