Ch.13 Secrets out
Hiccup's POV:
The arena was crowded, the vikings were cheering and I was crazy nervous. I noticed my dad was going to make a speech. "Well I can show my face in public again, two months ago if someone told me that Hiccup was to go from being well- Hiccup to first in dragon training well I woud have tied him to a mast and shipped him off for he had gone mad!" I had the stopped listening it was too hard to continue. I was so deep into my thoughts that I didn't even noticed Astrid coming behind me. "Be careful with that dragon." "Its not the dragon I'm worried about." I had enough chats with Hookfang so he wouldn't be tearing me apart limb from limb. "Astrid if something goes wrong make sure they don't find Toothless," 'or Jewel' I added mentally if something dose go wrong hopfully she will trust Astrid enough to show herself. "I will just promise me it won't go wrong," just before I could respond Gobber came wishing me his luck. But I didn't need his luck, I needed his eyes and ears. I stepped into the arena with my chin held up high I picked up a shield and a dagger from the weapons rack and announced that I was ready. All I heard was the clinging of the chains slowly opening the gate, letting the beast within burst its way out. The crowd went wild until the nightmare set his sights on me. The next few moments seemed to have last forever as Hookfang nears me I slowy pull out my hand towards him. "Whats he doing," my father asked. I told them to wait that they must see what Im about to do to belive it, until the chief wacked his hammer onto the bars of the arena. That was when things truly whent wild.
Toothless P.O.V.:
I was just relaxed taking a nap when I heared a scream. "Hiccup!" I raced out of the cove. "Toothless where are you going?" "Sorry can't talk now I've gotta save Hiccup!" I flew through the forest and to the arena finding Hiccup trapped under the claws of a monsterous nightmare preparing to burn the drgon boy I have learned to call my best friend.I shot a plasma blast and shot through the arena. "Out of my way these vikings have got to pay!" "Not with my Hiccup your not." "Toothless what are you doing here?" "Hiccup stay out of this, do you whant to live or not?" I then nocked the nightmare back into his cage as the vikings started to burst into te arena calling for my head. "Alright bud you did what you came here for now get out of here!" "Yeah but as soon as I leave who knows what those two legged monsters in mammal skin will do to you" I raced towards the biggest of the beasts I knew that he was the leader and Hiccup's Father I knew all that man did to my best friend and I knew that I whanted to taste his blood and bring him upon Hel's (note 1) front door. I knocked the hairy man right off his feet and prepared a plasma blast I was just about to fire it when I heard Hiccup's voice of reason. I knew that I whanted revenge for all that this false man of fatherhood has done, but I didn't know that Hiccup didn't even whant to lose his only family member and he nearly paid the price for my stupidity. And then my dumbness stuck again for I let my gard down and let the montain of brutal men with stone for heats pile me. A man brought the chief an axe be he simply pushed it away and said "Put it with the others," and dragged me into what you would call my doom.
Hiccup's pov:
My dad pushed me through the doors of the great hall I AM DOOMED! "I should have seen it I should have seen the signs so everything in the ring a trick a lie" my dad asked I was going to say that's just who I was but that would make him angryer if that was even possible. "He was just protecting me he is not dangerous as are no other dragon." "You got with the rest of them you are no viking... you're not my son," my dad whispered as my stepped out of the Great hall demanding the villigers to ready the ships. I had to stop them before they made the biggest and final mistakes if their lives.
I raced out of the hall and towords the docks staring at the villagers as they place my best friend in chains. My dad stared at me I shook my head silently begging to not go on with this, but like always he ignored me. As he sailed away I started to plan my friends escape I could go a number of ways like using my wings but then word would get out and well that won't end well. So that leaves just one option the dragons at the arena. I ran as fast as I could using my stength that I didn't even knew I had. I teared open the gates, and let the dragons out.
"Um Hiccup what are you doing" asked Tuffnut. I stared at them should I tell them... nah they'll only get in the way of things, so I simply ignored them as if the were nothing but air. "Hey were talking to you" claimed Snotlout "Show some respect." I still ignored them until I heard the familiar flaps In the distance, Toothless was captured so that could mean only one person left... Jewel, thank the gods that she was careful and landed in the forest hid her wings and walked the rest of the way. " Hiccup what is going on" she yells pusing through my classmates. They were all staring at us with wide eyes trying to grab a hold of what was going on. "Toothless got captured and the tribe is going towards the nest" I explained. "Well what are we waiting for lets save him come on Hookfang lets rock and roll" Jewel cheered hoping on the angry oven with ease (cause she can).
"Hold on nobody is leaving until somebody explains what is going on" Snotlout demands. Jewel and I looked at each other then at them and told them the truth. " Your tribe is on its way to their doom and unless we do something NOW the entire archipelego will meet the same end" exlained Jewel. The gang looked shock at this news. "Well how can we help" asked Astrid. Jewel and I smiled that we were all standing in front of un-caged dragons and they didn't scream, smiled because they accepted the change, smiled because ... They were willing to help. "Alright guys lets get you on some dragons and lets save the tribe" I cheered pumping my fist in the air.
It took a little longer than hoped by when working with the twins and snotlout you gotta be pacient. I paired up everyone with the dragon I thought complimented everyones personality. Astrid was with Stormfly the Nadder, Snotlout was paired with Hookfang, the twins got the Zippleback named Barf and Belch, and Meatlug went with Fishlegs. We were about to mount the dragons when Jewel pulled my away from the group. "Hiccup in all my life I've never seen you take such charge and give shuch love to your tribe this is the dragon stone it was passed down in my family for generations and now I want you to have it for luck," Jewel whispered; as she pulled off a chain around her neck with a emerald like stone hanging from it. "Wow Jewel thanks I'll treasure it forever" I replied with a smile.

We mounted our dragons I rode with Astrid so I don't get crushed or squished in any shape or form. While Jewel rode with Snotlout to make sure he dosn't get into trouble brave soal. Anyway by the time we arrived at the nest the queen was on the loose. I had Jewel and the others to start the fight while I freed Toothless. I wasn't worried I have my dragon skin and even with the apperance of a human it was still fire proof. I released him and we shoot through the sky better than ever. I spotted Astrid and Stormfly being sucked by the queen Toothless turned around and shot a powerful plasma blast. Leaving Astrid to fall until she was caught by Jewel and Hookfang "Don't worry about us I'll get them out but remember that a dragon is never fireproof on the inside" Jewel shouted.
Jewel's Pov:
Usually at times like these people are worried for their loved ones. But not me because they will get out of this; they just got to. I tried to take the villagers to the other side of the island key word tried the stubbern vikings wouldn't leave if their lives depended on it which actually does, and I do kinda wish to see the battle for myself. Funny how life works that way. The next I saw of the boys when they head towords the clouds and lights started to flash we couldn't tell who was winning but I had a good hunch. Then the boys started to fall along with the red death as the teens behind me are starting to call it. I spotted Toothless shooting a single plasma blast through the queens swords she called teeth, and she started to tear apart and as soon as she neared the ground a large explosion happened reducing the queen to flames. All of us Dragons, vikings, and Dragomirs are free.
But one question remaind did the boys suvive? It was all quiet until we we spotted a black blur quickly but gracefully landing right in front of me. They grabbed me in a hug to thank them for teaching all that they needed to accomplish this very mission; the prophecy has been completed and we can now be happily at peace. "Thanks Jewel for everything" Hiccup said. "Don't thank me I wasn't the one who just saved an entire village" I replied. "What about me? I had to fly all that way to make sure we didn't die" complained Toothless and we all laughed. "Yes Toothless you saved us all too" I said. "And don't you forget it" leaving us to laugh once again. Then the chief neared us stopping our conversation we didn't want the world to know that dragomirs actually existed, the look in his eye told me that he wanted to speak with is son alone so I said my good byes and prepared to take my leave.
"Hey where are you going" asked a man. People usually ignore me so I just kept on walking. Until the same man asked the same question and grabbed my sholder. I looked at the man who wasn't an ordinary man, but simply Gobber. The village blacksmith the one man that Hiccup constantly talks about to no end only to be riveled by toothless and the one man who taught Hiccup how to live through the viking world in his own way. Secretly Im jelous of him Hiccup isn't close to me not like he is with Gobber. "Hey where are you going "he asked fir the third time. "Home" "How will you get there" "I'll find a way" I truned back to continue on my way. "Say your name dosn't happen to be Jewel now is it?" My eyes grew large that they nearly fell off my face. "Yes how did you know" "Hiccup talks about you so much that I feel like that I knew you all my life" I turned back towards the blacksmith."Likewise" "You know any mentor of Hiccup is a friend of mine would you like to come with us I know that Hiccup would love that very much" I liiked at the smith with a smile.
Hiccup POV:
As soon as I spotted my dad I knew that he wanted to have a chat with me... alone; I didn't wanted to be alone with him I hoped that Jewel wouldn't leave me...
And she left me. Grrreeaat the gods hate me. "Hhheeeyyy dad how are you" "Good good sigh Hiccup Im sorry that I disowned you and I hope that I can make up for it." I Looked at my dad and I see that he were giving the viking version of the puppy dog eyes I couldn't resist those eyes; those big round viking eyes okay and trust me it sounds much cuter than it sounded. I sighed knowing that there would be no escape and nodded my head. "Great now come on son lets go try to get off this island." "Yeah lets go home" We walked towards the villagers who were ready for some dicrections.

Me: yes I do know but do you also have a mountains worth of homework to last you until the day you die no I don't think so.
Titi: you are so dramatic
Me: IM DRAMATIC ?! How about the day you were late for school because you couldn't find the perfect headband?
Titi: Well at least I dont do it as much as you
Jewel: Im just greatful that Im just a fictional character of you imagination and I don't have to do this dreadful homework.
